He is extremely friendly and personable with his patients. He takes his time explaining every step. And does not rush from patient to patient. He’s the best!

5 /5 Joan Randazzo: My dentist of 20 years retired and I was referred to Amber dental. Today was my first visit. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hygienist explained everything in detail before she proceeded doing any work on me, and she was very gentle. Afterwards, I met Dr. Koehne, whom shook my hand and thanked me for choosing them. Dr. Koehne was also gentle and explained in great detail the work I needed to have done. Overall my experience was EXCELLENT. I highly recommend Amber dental.

5 /5 Kurt S: My old crown came out eating hard sticky candy, I made an appt to replace it. they reserved 2 hours . I came in to the office they took a x-ray of the tooth. after the x-ray they review everything with me and explain what needed to be done , answered all my question and made me feel comfortable with what needed to be done. They found some decay in the tooth with had been root canal so I didnt have any pain with it. They said with the old crown x-ray hide or couldnt see under the crown so you couldnt see the decay , so they removed the decay build it back up and then measured for a new crown, the new crown is generated in the office and the material that is used allow you to see under the crown when future x-ray is taken. The staff was friendly and asked if I need water or during the procedure if I need to rest just let them know. I came in at 11am and I was done at 1 pm with a new crown and ready to eat lunch. I was very happy with the whole experience and definitely will be a future customer .

5 /5 lisane swartwood: Dr Koehne and his staff are (as at every visit I’ve had) professional, kind and gentle in their cleanings and with any work that needs to be done. I am thankful to be a client of Amber Dental. They fit you in when there is an emergency and take care of insurance needs. Great dental office!

Kathy Lam, DDS - Wheaton Kevin Chen: Dr. Lam is amazing!! I came by strong recommendation from several people and I can see why. She is seriously just passionate about dental health which I feel is rare in a dentist / doctor these days. Shes super detailed and answered my questions and concerns. I have a cavity that needs to be filled and she used a little camera to show me what it looks like and the plan of care for it! Shes also very friendly and easy to talk to. I will come back for sure and will ditch the big corporate dental companies I used to go to.
