Terri Wallman Like most people, I imagine, finding a new dentist can be hard. Especially if you loved your last dentist who retired. I couldnt be happier however, having found Park Dental Care! They really do show great care for their patients, are very experienced and knowledgeable and they go above and beyond to make you comfortable. All this in beautiful surroundings! I highly recommend!!

Cosme B I was talking to the hygienist who went to town on my mouth today - I started coming here in 2007. Wow. I remember I was deathly afraid of dentists and I gave them a shot and nearly 20 years later, I am still a patient even though I no longer live in the area. So why do I drive an hour 20 minutes? These ladies make you feel like family. They actually remember your name, things youve talked about in the past, they are loving towards my children, they are honest and allow you to be part of the decision making process. A great place to go to the dentist.

Jill Ketchum Park Dental is a fantastic dental practice. Mandy, along with the other front office staff are very welcoming and helpful at the end of my appointments. Both Dr. Evelyn and Dr. Britly are fantastic dentists. They are extremely knowledgeable and put patient comfort and care as a priority. The hygienists and clinical staff are very friendly, funny and also care about comfort. I have worked with Carolynn and Mary Kay the most. Both are fantastic. The overall positive and friendly atmosphere of the office calms my nerves and makes me grateful to have found Park Dental Care. I highly recommend the office.

Emily Cassady This is a wonderful practice! The ladies at the front desk are so nice and helpful. Nikki is always so kind and great with answering all of my questions when it comes to insurance and scheduling/invisalign. Elda the hygienist is so sweet and communicative when working on your teeth which is so appreciated if you have dental anxiety like I do. She tells you the next steps, so you know what to expect. Also, Dr. Scheive knows her stuff! I have seen many dentists in the last year and the staff at Dr. Scheives practice has been the best, by far. I am happy to have found them and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a great family dentist.

Marianna Z I can confidently say this was by far the best dentist appointment I’ve ever had! From start to finish, the team was absolutely amazing. Melanie at the front desk was so welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process seamless. Doctor Anna was exceptionally knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which really put me at ease. Vicky, the dental assistant, was so kind and attentive throughout my visit, and Cindy and Isidro were also fantastic—everyone worked together to make the experience comfortable and professional. One of the highlights was the 3D scanning they did of my teeth. It was fascinating to see such a detailed image of what’s going on, and it made understanding my dental health so much easier. Another reason this office stands out is how transparent they are about costs. They tell you upfront what your insurance covers and what it doesn’t, which is a huge relief compared to other places that do the procedure first and then hit you with a big unexpected bill. I truly felt like I was in great hands with this team. I can’t recommend them enough!

Paul Thuman Anna is one of the best dentists Ive ever seen. Her office staff was exceptionally professional and kind. I had two implants done and the procedure went through with no complications or pain she explained the whole procedure in detail before the procedure and made sure to answer all my questions. I highly advised anybody to visit her office and get an evaluation and have the procedures done you wont regret it

Mike Dane Dr Lu and staff are wonderful. I have dental anxiety and they were able to do a root canal and same day crown with very minimal pain and discomfort. Highly recommend them to anyone needing to get their teeth repaired or just for a simple check up. Their new office in Wheaton is very calming and welcoming.

George Chao I trust Dr. Lu. She is very caring, and it’s so nice working with her. I’m a retired chef living outside Milwaukee. I love food (too much). I started having gum problems, and I went to the local periodontist. That periodontist was vague and expensive. He did not really explain what he was doing, and he did not show me how to take care of my gums. He just said “next appointment.” I’m very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Lu. She explains everything in detail, gives me choices, and tells me what she is doing. The best thing is she actually teaches me how to floss and take care of my gums. The hygienists Kristin & Karolina give me homework after each cleaning. My gums have made a total comeback! It takes a team between the office and my homework. I’m happy to make the 200-mile drive knowing that I’m getting the results.

Steve Smithe Dr. Lu has changed my life!! I’ve been seeing her for over 12 years. Shes incredibly knowledgeable and explains things so well. I learn something new each time, especially about the connections between my mouth and overall health. Had a recent health scare, so I especially appreciate her thoughtful care. Dr. Lu recognized what my previous dentists did not see before. She designed a treatment plan to reach my retirement goals. So before I retired, I had several implants and crowns done which took care of several broken teeth and the cavities under my old bridge. I remembered one appointment when Dr. Lu and Jenny stayed way over time to painstakingly screw in my implant crowns one by one, for an ideal fit and easy flossing. She balanced my bite which helped my neck pain. I am very happy I took Dr. Lu’s advice to get my work done at a younger age and not to wait. Today, I am retired, and I am set. I eat, and I smile. I totally value Dr. Lu. She gives her all to her patients. The quality of her work is life changing!!

Donata Stroink-Skillrud The incompetence of this office is truly astounding. I have seen both Dr. Harvey and Dr. Sarah Bogin for years, getting regular cleanings and checkups and never missing any appointments. I would come in and they would say that everything looks good or fix what wasnt good. Then (this happened to me twice), Id go to get endo and the endodontist found teeth that are so beyond repair that they had to be pulled. Both Drs. Bogin looked at these teeth multiple times and said that they were fine, completely missing the issues. The opinions that these teeth had to be pulled were confirmed by multiple endodontists and surgeons who could not believe that the dentists completely missed them. Correction: I just went to another dentist and it turns out that Im losing a third tooth which has a huge cavity that Drs. Bogin missed despite looking at that tooth multiple times. Not sure what the point was of paying thousands of dollars for cleanings and checkups was if they missed all of that. Maybe if they were more competent, they could have caught these issues earlier and I would not have lost multiple teeth under their care. My husband has three cavities filled by Dr. Sarah Bogin. When he went to a new dentist (we switched due to my experience), all of those fillings had to be redone because they were done incorrectly. Save your money and go to a more competent dentists office.

Jed Fortuna Dr. Harvey, his dental assistant Anna, and the receptionist Joanna are so kind!! I felt totally comfortable and not rushed at all. Dr. Harvey was very thorough and took his time to explain everything he was doing. I will definitely be back and refer Dr Harvey to friends and family.

Michelle Bober Dr Shin is the BEST! I work in healthcare and am a tough critic when it comes to patient experience but Dr Shin is fantastic. His front desk team is so personable, they know you by name and remember details about your family. They are proactive and transparent in pricing. The hygienists actually teach you techniques to improve your oral health and explain things well. And Dr Shin- he is so down-to-earth, communicates well, and genuinely cares. The group is understanding of last minute emergencies and was so accommodating to helping squeeze us in. I highly recommend this team!!!

Alethya Yu Came for the dental care, stayed for 1) spa-esque treatments 2) FREE concert 3) psychotherapy for dental phobia. Dr. Shin and his staff are absolutely fabulous, and they are by far the BEST dental team that have worked on me. Dr. Shin obviously enjoys his work, and hes incredibly humble. Eliza is organized, approachable, and overall a pleasant lady to engage in conversations with. Jennifer is the amazing hygienist who keeps my smile healthy and genuine. A+ team!

Michael Nagy Ive had a lot of dental issues and several dentists over the years. Dr Shin is among the very best! Competent, professional, caring. He & his staff really know what theyre doing and they listen to patients. Even though Ive moved from Glen Ellyn to Chicago, I have no intention of finding a closer-by dentist - Dr Shins office is worth the extra travel.

Mark Ladendorf Dr. Carlson is an incredible craftsman. He is totally painless and he goes above and beyond. I can’t say enough about his thoroughness and care. I’m fortunate to have him as my dentist. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Debra Costas For us there isnt any better dentist in town then Carlson dental! Dr Carlson and his partner are great and very very knowledgeable up to date with all the latest techniques and skills. Their dentistry emphasizes comfort of the patient which we really appreciate! The staff is very friendly and comforting when needed and is also very knowledgeable. The dental hygienists are very skilled in what they do and they do it well. You need not have any fears or worries when you go to Carlson dental!

Vicki Tieri Dr. Carlson has a very well organized office. The scheduling staff is extremely helpful and friendly—Brenda and Margie. Dawn and April, the dental hygienists are great-they are gentle, but also make sure your teeth are really clean! I like Dr. Carlson because he is professionally thorough and very, very nice. Everyone in the office treats me like it is their privilege to have me there. I would highly recommend this office!

bluebird Routine appointment and all went well. Staff always excellent....and my teeth were cleaned and X-rayed and on my way I went The cleaning was excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. The aide doing the cleaning gave me some "flosser picks" to use in hard-to -reach places when I brought the subject up. Its nice that they give you something to help you care for your teeth better at home.

Mike V Kind and knowledgeable professionals. They took care of me. I had an emergency root canal done by Tom and for the first time in my life, after visiting a dentist, I had work done and didnt have pain the following day with the completed work. With every other dentist Ive visited, something always hurts the next day, usually some of the needle pokes from the anesthetics but not this time. No pain, No swelling, No discomfort whatsoever. A bit more expensive than I was expecting but they earned it this time. Thank you very much. I really appreciate professionals who are exceptional at their craft. Sometimes, however, things will occasionally disappoint. I was transferred from Toms book to Jessicas book after I scheduled some additional work I wanted done only to find out 3 weeks later at my appointment that I would be getting referred out. I dont know if Tom was planning to do the work or if Jessica just wasnt comfortable with it, but I really wish it hadnt taken 3 weeks to find out at the last minute.

Diane Breece I have been under the care of Dr. Gibbs and his wonderful staff, specially Barb and Jill for almost twenty years. I highly recommend them. I recommend that everyone gets their teeth cleaned and checked twice a year. I attribute my healthy teeth/gums due to their care. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Sarah Kemp The best dentist office ever! I go for general dentistry and also recently got clear aligners from them. I love them so much I drive about 40 minutes to come here! Every visit is very seamless and the people are genuinely some of the nicest people I have ever met. Dentistry is always such a sensitive subject for a lot of folks and they make it such a positive experience here - whether it’s with scheduling, overall communication, actual dental work…etc. All around great experience!

The hygienist explained everything in detail before she proceeded doing any work on me, and she was very gentle. Afterwards, I met Dr. Koehne, whom shook my hand and thanked me for choosing them. Dr. Koehne was also gentle and explained in great detail the work I needed to have done. Overall my experience was EXCELLENT. I highly recommend Amber dental.

From the initial consultation to the post-surgery follow-up, the process was smooth and professionally handled. The staff was incredibly welcoming and informative, ensuring I understood each step and what to expect before/after surgery. The procedure itself was surprisingly quick, and was given clear instructions for aftercare. The recovery went much better than I anticipated, with minimal swelling and discomfort. I also appreciated the regular check-ins to ensure everything was healing properly. Overall, I’m grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend this practice to anyone considering wisdom teeth removal. The team made a potentially stressful procedure feel easy and stress-free!!

Dan S I told Forfar I was allergic to and did not want Versed for my procedure. Apparently, he thought it would be funny to go ahead and give me Versed even though I told him not to. I had a reaction to the medication and almost wound up hospitalized with Police getting involved. Additionally, I had a recurring infection as a result of his work (poor quality workmanship). I followed up with him for 3 weeks while this infection was literally draining puss into my mouth - he told me it was fibrin drainage. I went to a different dentist who, in 15 minutes, identified that it was infection draining from a perforation in my sinus where Forfar had done the work. TERRIBLE quality of care, literally gave me medication i told him not to give me, then didnt even fix the issue caused (perforation in sinus) by his poor workmanship. Stay away. This man is an arrogant pox to humanity.

During my consultation to remove all four wisdom teeth, Dr. Forfar was thorough and explained what needs to happen and why. I immediately felt like I could trust him and his judgment. His dental assistant was so kind and helpful, she made me feel so at ease. His office staff is also very kind and professional. I would recommend Dr. Forfar and his staff to anyone who needs oral surgery. I am over two weeks post op and have had zero issues since having my wisdom teeth removed. Thanks Dr. Forfar and team for giving me as good of an experience as you can have with wisdom teeth removal.

Mrs Superman Set up an appointment with them to have a wisdom tooth removed. I was referred by my dentist. Its almost a 2 hour drive one way. 1st I get a text on Friday when my appointment is on Monday. The text was asking for my xrays which I had already submitted. So I called to verify that they had them so I wouldnt be wasting my time driving all the way there. She confirmed, then went on to say that my insurance would have to be verified for my appointment. I said wasnt that already done? She said oh Im doing it right now it only takes 2 min. Then says she has me verified. I was told I needed a panoramic xray and that it I would be getting it today, and that it was covered by my insurance. I drove all the way there to have her hand me this paper and say I just need you to sign this, its so we can bill your insurance. I read it and thats not what it says at all. I confronted her about it. She again says that its just so they can bill insurance and to treat me. I said why does it have an itemized list of things and the cost? She just stares at me. I read outloud to her what it says and explain to her that I know contracts that I have a degree in law. She keeps lying to my face telling me that its what she is explaining to me. But it says in black and white repeatedly that this service is not covered and that I will be billed and Im signing that I agree. I told her I am not signing that and that she can figure it out in moving forward. If I can be seen or if I have just wasted my gas and my time. She goes to the back and comes back saying I need to sign it or I cant be seen! I suggest that anyone facing the same issue contact the Illinois Attorney Generals office in your area. By the time I’m done with them, they won’t be allowed to continue accepting Medicaid recipients. This is fraud, and as a mandated reporter, I have a responsibility to speak up. While I was in the waiting room, another woman mentioned she had signed the same form and had been given the exact same misleading explanation. These kinds of extortion tactics — manipulating and deceiving people just to bill Medicaid — are exactly what’s wrong with the system. It’s disgraceful to prey on people with limited means. These opportunists behave like hyenas, exploiting others misfortunes and assuming that if someone’s on Medicaid, they must be uneducated. Well, I’m not.
