5 /5 Debra Avila: I recently had 3 of my wisdom teeth extracted, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience! From the initial consultation to the post-surgery follow-up, the process was smooth and professionally handled. The staff was incredibly welcoming and informative, ensuring I understood each step and what to expect before/after surgery. The procedure itself was surprisingly quick, and was given clear instructions for aftercare. The recovery went much better than I anticipated, with minimal swelling and discomfort. I also appreciated the regular check-ins to ensure everything was healing properly. Overall, I’m grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend this practice to anyone considering wisdom teeth removal. The team made a potentially stressful procedure feel easy and stress-free!!

1 /5 Dan S: I told Forfar I was allergic to and did not want Versed for my procedure. Apparently, he thought it would be funny to go ahead and give me Versed even though I told him not to. I had a reaction to the medication and almost wound up hospitalized with Police getting involved. Additionally, I had a recurring infection as a result of his work (poor quality workmanship). I followed up with him for 3 weeks while this infection was literally draining puss into my mouth - he told me it was fibrin drainage. I went to a different dentist who, in 15 minutes, identified that it was infection draining from a perforation in my sinus where Forfar had done the work. TERRIBLE quality of care, literally gave me medication i told him not to give me, then didnt even fix the issue caused (perforation in sinus) by his poor workmanship. Stay away. This man is an arrogant pox to humanity.

5 /5 Emma Brooks: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Forfar and his entire practice in Wheaton. During my consultation to remove all four wisdom teeth, Dr. Forfar was thorough and explained what needs to happen and why. I immediately felt like I could trust him and his judgment. His dental assistant was so kind and helpful, she made me feel so at ease. His office staff is also very kind and professional. I would recommend Dr. Forfar and his staff to anyone who needs oral surgery. I am over two weeks post op and have had zero issues since having my wisdom teeth removed. Thanks Dr. Forfar and team for giving me as good of an experience as you can have with wisdom teeth removal.

5 /5 Cindy Nguyen: I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Forfar and his team on 1/29/25 for my wisdom teeth removal. I did it under anesthesia, with local anesthetic to the lower jaw line, and laughing gas. I was introduced to Dr. Forfar by my dentist. In total, I had 3 wisdom teeth removed. I was very scared going into the procedure due to the horror stories from my friends and cousins. However, that was the complete opposite of my worries and it was a such a great experience. Dr. Forfar and his team explained everything thoroughly, attentive with my care, and provided great aftercare post-op. His team made sure to call in to make sure I know my appt time, see if there was any changes, and also after surgery they called in and check on me. I experienced no pain truly, not much bleeding, and my teeth was healing each day and now it is a little over a week since my surgery and my jaw and teeth are doing great. I only took the ibuprofen prescribed for pain on top of the steroid and antibiotic and did my best with after care and oral hygiene as instructed. The kit they provided for aftercare was the bit with clear instructions. Overall, I had a great experience and Dr. Forfar and his team made my worst fear of getting out my wisdom teeth bearable, no pain, and fearless. I’m so happy to have met him and his team. Would for sure recommend for anyone thinking of getting there wisdom teeth out after Dr. Forfar’s office. After a week, I returned for my follow up and all was good. Thank you Dr. Forfar and his team for everything and for an amazing surgery experience truly!! God bless everyone :)

5 /5 Jacob Samuel: Forfar and Associates Oral Surgery Ltd is a great place. My dentist referred me to Dr. Forfar for a wisdom tooth extraction, which had some potential complications. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and welcoming. Dr. Alan Fofar is a straightforward and friendly person. He explained the potential complications from the extraction and prepared me for the worst. The staff explained the possible expenses and informed me how much my insurance would cover. However, the extraction was quick and smooth. There were no complications. Post-extraction care was also well explained to me. A week later, there was a follow-up to ensure everything was going well. Overall, I am very pleased. Highly recommend the place
