Ariel Upchurch: Despite the other bad reviews, you should definitely try them out! I have never had a problem going to these ladies. They are very nice and its such a relaxing environment. I am always pleased with my nails! They do such a wonderful job. Remember dont judge a book by its cover.

Very detailed with making sure the shape was to my liking and that there were no rough edges. They look great and I will definitely be returning to him for my next fill. Be sure to bring cash as the salon doesn’t take cash, but it’s in Walmart so it was easy to go buy something and get cash back to avoid any ATM fees. It was $37 before tip for gel polish and I think that it was well worth it. The salon was clean and I had no wait at all with just walking in when I went at noon on a Thursday.

Galina Prostakova: This is THE best place to get Russian gel manicure in the west loop and most likely all of Chicago. I love the space it’s very beautiful. I trust very few places to make my nails look good, and J salon is the only place I trust. They also could last for 6 weeks if I wanted them to. And they also always try to fit me in if I call when they are booked up online. And honestly every technician is so good so I never have to worry who I go to- because each one does it exactly right and can improvise when I want to change it up. I’m about to move 20 minutes away and I will still be coming back only here to get my nails done.
