5 /5 Nicole C: First Baptist Church of Geneva is unlike any church I have been to. I havent always had the best experiences, but this church makes you feel welcome and like family from your first visit. Theyre always finding ways for you to feel more involved and more comfortable, and I have never been closer to God and had a better community of loving people than I do with FBCG. Besides their ability to make you feel like a part of the church right away, their messages are gospel based, easy to follow and understand, and are delivered in a way that makes you feel connected to the staff and the message. I particularly like Pastor Jeff Fraziers sermons and his way of explaining things - he really speaks to me and helps me understand. The only improvement I could see would be more spiritual and time investment in the worship/music. I can see that the talent and resources are there, but they just seem improperly placed or used. Music and worship is SO important for people to truly feel like the holy spirit is within them, and I hope this church finds a way to help this part of worship grow and improve.

5 /5 Sarah Kay: This is truly a great church. It is large but bot “mega”, the pastor still greets churchgoers at the door prior to services. They do not waste money on stage production, the music is great with vocalists extremely talented. The teachings follow the bible with Jesus being at the center. There are no elaborate icons only one simple cross commemorating the great sacrifice and mercy of our Lord. The teachings are well delivered. The Womens Bible Study groups are the best around with great leadership. Just an all-around welcoming, friendly, and theologically sound place to worship and meet true friends. Every person that I have met at this church are just good people.

4 /5 Todd Donald: Rating a church is tough business. Chapel street church, (formerly First Baptist of Geneva), is definitely a good church for teaching, childcare, vacation Bible school, Christmas concert and more. The staff, volunteers, members, leaders are wonderful. The sermons and the teaching are solid from the Bible and Gods word is taught without apology. Not a guilt trip church, but certainly not a phony feel good church either. Not an unconformable church, but not intimately comfy either. Perhaps a bit commercial/institutional.
