Michael Hurt: I highly recommend anyone in the area see Dr. Breckner. The office is very nice and clean and everyone I worked with there was wonderful. I initially went to Dr. Breckner for a root canal and subsequently for regular cleanings. He identified some structural issues with my bite and put a plan in place to remediate those issues. It wasnt cheap, but he and his team worked with me to provide a solution I could afford and scheduled procedures to ensure my insurance would cover the maximum amount. The procedures and cleanings themselves always went well and I always felt comfortable because everyone I worked with was friendly and made it a point to communicate exactly what they were doing and why.

G R: Where do I start. Honestly I am shocked they are still in business. Years ago my wife and I went to Boatman not knowing that he has the nickname the “root canal king”. First time I went. I was told I needed three root canals. I trusted him. Had them done. Even with both my wife and I having the best dental insurance, I had to pay a ton of money out of pocket. Later found out they were billing both our insurances for the same work and billing me too. Their pricing was three times as much as everyone else. One of the crowns he installed was ground down so much that it had the gold underlayment showing through. As soon as I got in my car I saw it and went back in. Boatman’s daughter was rudely arguing with me that because it was a molar tooth this is normal. No way this was normal. After 15 minutes of back and forth, Boatman got involved and ordered a new one. I didn’t know any better and went back a second time. Told me I needed three more root canals. This time I declined and went to another dentist. I had exrays done by the second dentist and told nothing was wrong with any of my teeth!!! My wife has the same experience with shoddy work and extremely high pricing. She also was tried to be sold multiple root canals that were not needed. We stopped going. An ex employee told us that he even hired a company to do great reviews to cover up the bad ones. I would strongly recommend you get a second opinion on any work if you don’t trust the real reviews. I would also look at what you are being charged and what is being billed to your insurance.

We came to APD and they were able to do both of my children at the same time. My son has Autism Spectrum Disorder and they were so accommodating, he has a lot of sensory issues and they took time and communicated what they were doing and when, he really felt so comfortable and actually enjoyed the visit with how fun they made it. The front staff is fabulous, the hygienists and Dr Mara were incredible!! So beyond thankful to have found such an amazing pediatric dental office.

Lynn Kash: My daughter and myself really liked this orthodontist. Only one I could find that takes Medicaid. It’s a drive, but so worth it! I really liked the staff, very friendly. They do have an entertainment center if you have little ones so they have something to keep them busy and a charging port. My daughter went there for almost 2 years to get her teeth straightened. This place did an amazing job! If the child goes there on their birthday, they get a free hoodie. My daughter was sad for having to leave the place after she got her braces off and received her retainers. Her teeth look so much better and it’s to this place that that was able to happen (with my daughter doing what was instructed)! Great job to this place and thank you for helping my daughter have a smile she can be proud of and show off!
