    Samuel Modjewski: Not very welcoming… We literally pulled into the parking lot to eat the drive through food we had just purchased on our way out of town. We. as in our family of five in a Chrysler Town and Country, happened to be out there when some staff of the church was locking up for the afternoon. She approached our vehicle to see what was going on with us there, completely understandable… What is neither understandable or acceptable is the third degree and unwelcoming response we had from her when we told her we were just stopping quick to eat. We were essentially told to finish up and get out. Get out of the parking lot…of the house of the lord… Bizarre to me as I was always taught that churches are a place of refugee. Where people can look to the lord and his people for help. Now I didn’t need help, but we were also not causing any harm…at all. We have traveled far and wide in this country and frequently have to pull over places to eat. Places ranging from churches, to gas stations, to supermarkets, to pretty much any place imaginable. We look for safe places to park because we have a family, and a brain. I will take note that churches are no longer the safe havens of yesteryear…
