Wonderful Sunday school for the young and great Sunday messages. Diverse and warm congregation led by a pastor who listens. Meaningful week day classes. Please support this wonderful congregation in the heart of downtown Woodstock accessible by train.

They have a great kids ministry program, engaging teaching, and lively worship music. They also have wonderful small group opportunities if you want to be more involved. If you want to be loved instead of judged, come to Good News.

5 /5 Duane Sherman: You will find a warm, wise, joyful and humble family of God on mission in their community at GNC. Pastor Mitch, Katie and their family are wonderful and an inspiration. One of the best churches we’ve experienced over the past 20 years of being married and raising a family. Would still be there had we not moved out of state. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Ashley: Good news church majors on the majors and minors on the minors. We promote and agree on core doctrine of faith, and discussion in the gray areas or peripheral doctrines is commonplace and welcome. We are a diverse community that really feel close like family. We have weekly groups all year and get together for fun things like birthdays and game nights, too. We have a cellular prayer chat group where people can share prayer requests 24/7 and be prayer over. This group has one anothers backs and is the hands and feet of Jesus to the world, helping people and sharing kindness.
