Dennis Robinson: Wow, what an incredible experience! My family opted to purchase the pass, which granted us complimentary entry to numerous other museums and science centers. Additionally, we received discounts on tickets to other attractions if the entry fee was free. This trip allowed us to immerse our kids in diverse cultures. From the vibrant car culture, which encompassed various subcultures like bikers, truckers, low riders, and artists of all kinds, to the fascinating planetarium show, we were captivated by the exhibits. We were so impressed that we ended up wanting to watch several more shows. However, I must admit that the lady at the counter was not particularly receptive to our requests. We wanted our daughter to participate in the scavenger hunt, but it seemed like she was having a rough day or perhaps didn’t enjoy her job. Despite this, we managed to get our daughter involved. The gift shop at the museum was also quite extensive and offered a wide range of souvenirs.

Natalina Bailey: I love anything with history. Many original furnishings. The house is beautifully preserved through many generations of owners. I enjoyed the tour very much.
    Giant Oak Park - Peoria
    Giant Oak Park
Steve C: A nice spot to enjoy an ancient tree that is over 500 years old. You cant access the tree directly as its surrounded by a fence to protect it. There is a picnic table and plenty of grass to walk around it and enjoy thinking about the amount of time its been there.

Sara Smith: This has been my favorite park since I was really little. …I was sad to see the old wooden playground go but the new one looks just as fun for the kids. I took my kids here when they were little and plan on taking my grandchildren when that time comes. It’s such a nice area for picnics and cookouts and get togethers. Plenty of tables, benches and parking. I love being here.

Brown Aurora (Rorey): My almost 2 year old loved this place and threw a whole tantrum when we had to leave. Great for kids of all ages and the gift shop has some pretty fancy items that arent too pricey. Theyve also got a great selection of stuff in there from shirts and toys to pocket knives and stress squeeze toys. We came to visit Peoria from Michigan and we have had an absolute blast.
St. Louis Arch Replica - Peoria
Cary Miller: More of an advertising gimmick than a replica of the St Louis Arch. It is one of the items featured in the 101 things that play in Peoria that was featured in the Peoria Journal Star newspaper several years ago. It is a Peoria landmark because its out of the ordinary.

Charlotte Bogart: We are here sometimes twice a week. Great spot for picnics, just to let our kids roam... The sand pit by Cyds is awesome, too. The paths are gorgeous and peaceful to walk down. Theres plenty of shade and also so much open space. So far, this is our favorite park in the area.
John C. Flanagan House Museum - Peoria
    John C. Flanagan House Museum
Cary Miller: The John C Flanagan House was built in 1837 and is the oldest standing house in the city of Peoria. There is a circa 1800s cannon in the front yard and a metal plaque describing the history of the home. The house sits on Peorias east bluff and is surrounded by many other fine homes
Wheels O Time Museum - Dunlap
    Wheels O Time Museum
Shehzain Wyvern: Thank you so much to Bill S. for giving us a tour! The museum is a lot larger than it appears from the roadside with plenty to explore. Vintage cars, clocks, machinery, farm equipment, fire department equipment, models of riverboats, and much more. This was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back to explore again.
    Lakeview Park - Peoria
    Lakeview Park
N S: The park is nice but it is probably a better choice if you want to visit the library, the fitness center, or the recreation center. There are several benches to sit, but no picnic areas that I could see. The playground is not suitable for toddlers— the equipment is more appropriate for older kids/young teens. I haven’t been inside the recreation center so cannot comment on that.
