Glitter Nail Lounge - Pekin (IL)

2 /5 Eprimiller: First picture is what I asked for except with orange and turquoise. She asked if it was okay if we only did one color on the flowers as she had another appointment after me and this design would take too long (even though I was there for a fill and my appointment was for an hour). I reluctantly agreed. She then used the gel to fill my nails (the gel was colored) so there’s thin spots where you can see though them. When it was time to do the design she told she she could only do black and white because she wouldn’t be able to match the other colors so again I reluctantly agreed. She pulled out a plate and a stamp and picked out a totally different design. Keeping in mind I had came with a friend who she happily color matched and hand painted a design right before me. She smeared my design and was going to leave it until I said something. While preparing to fix it she told me that I needed to stay still so it didn’t smear again even though she smeared it while wiping the sides of my nails. She then proceeded to wipe off part of the design and not fix it as you can see in the pictures. She didn’t put any top coat on the flower design or cure it. She rushed me out because of her next appointment but there was no one waiting there when I left. She also took any and every opportunity to text on her phone during the service. I felt like a bother the entire time I was there. To touch on the positive, it was very clean and the shape is near perfect. Needless to say I will not be back.

The decorations were cute, the ladies were super friendly, I didnt have to sit there in awkward silence, my nails ended up really pretty and they lasted about 3 weeks + a few days before I removed the rest of them. It wasnt painful at all. I really loved this place. I hope to go again today.
