5 /5 Lauren Monopoli: Earlier today, I received a cut from a different salon and was horrified by the end result. In desperate need of help, I drove over to Ippatsu. I’ve never been before, but a friend has been raving about them for years now. I fully expected to be turned away, I was just a random girl with a terrible haircut crying at the reception desk. Instead, I was met with such kindness and understanding from the receptionist (I wish I got their name!). After a few minutes, they found a stylist for me: Makenzie. Makenzie took time during her lunch break to turn what was an uneven/choppy mess into a super cute and functional pixie. I never once felt judged for crying, which I’m so grateful for. I’m a rather shy and anxious person, but I felt so at ease the entire time. Makenzie explained what she was doing throughout our session, making sure I was okay with any changes. It was such an affirming and validating process. I left feeling so happy! Thank you Ippatsu for helping a girl out when she really needed it. I’ve already told countless people about my incredible experience. Words cannot express my gratitude! Thank you for saving the day!

5 /5 goonsdirge: Fantastic service, great atmosphere, I have never once been let down by Mackenzie or Tori! They know their way around curls and have always given me exactly what I want from only a few reference photos. The satisfaction is well worth the price.

5 /5 Ashley T. Daly: Ippatsu is amazing! The aesthetic is inviting and fun. Tori always makes me happy with color and style for my hair. She takes her time to make sure you get the look you want. Tristan is my absolute go to for eyebrow waxing and tinting. Her facials are truly rejuvenating and make my skin look and feel beautiful. The skin care line Tristan uses is wonderful and I now buy consistently. I highly recommend Ippatsu for all your salon and spa needs!

5 /5 Tania Matlock: I have never gotten a better haircut at any other salon than Ippatsu Salon! This was my first curly cut, done beautifully by Mackenzie (I hope I spelled your name right) and at such an amazing price as well. The salon was clean, staff were friendly, and the location was so nice! As a student at U of I, it can be hard to find good haircut locations that offer a variety, especially to those with mixed, textured hair. I would recommend going to this salon; I will be sure to come back as long as I am in college. Amazing 10/10 ☺️
