K Thomas Good.. not the best.

Lauren Monopoli Earlier today, I received a cut from a different salon and was horrified by the end result. In desperate need of help, I drove over to Ippatsu. I’ve never been before, but a friend has been raving about them for years now. I fully expected to be turned away, I was just a random girl with a terrible haircut crying at the reception desk. Instead, I was met with such kindness and understanding from the receptionist (I wish I got their name!). After a few minutes, they found a stylist for me: Makenzie. Makenzie took time during her lunch break to turn what was an uneven/choppy mess into a super cute and functional pixie. I never once felt judged for crying, which I’m so grateful for. I’m a rather shy and anxious person, but I felt so at ease the entire time. Makenzie explained what she was doing throughout our session, making sure I was okay with any changes. It was such an affirming and validating process. I left feeling so happy! Thank you Ippatsu for helping a girl out when she really needed it. I’ve already told countless people about my incredible experience. Words cannot express my gratitude! Thank you for saving the day!

goonsdirge Fantastic service, great atmosphere, I have never once been let down by Mackenzie or Tori! They know their way around curls and have always given me exactly what I want from only a few reference photos. The satisfaction is well worth the price.

Ashley T. Daly Ippatsu is amazing! The aesthetic is inviting and fun. Tori always makes me happy with color and style for my hair. She takes her time to make sure you get the look you want. Tristan is my absolute go to for eyebrow waxing and tinting. Her facials are truly rejuvenating and make my skin look and feel beautiful. The skin care line Tristan uses is wonderful and I now buy consistently. I highly recommend Ippatsu for all your salon and spa needs!

Barb Gallivan Such a great massage with Deetra today. Very relaxing and my skin and body feel amazing. The back scrub, the scent of the oils and the pressure were all perfect. Such a great experience and I can’t wait until my facial next week. Highly recommend to all!! ❤️❤️

Stacy Marie I originally met Deetra at another spa for a Brazilian wax and I loved how she made me feel comfortable and made sure the wax temp was ok. Shortly after she left that spa, and I was able to reach out to her and schedule another appt at her new location. I was so happy about this because I like to go to people, Im comfortable with. Also, recently Deetra gave me a chemical peel facial, and it was my first time having a facial. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience. I fell asleep during the session lol. Definitely book with Deetra, she is amazing!!!!

Sarah Rowe I was nervous to get a facial/dermablading done for the first time. Deetra was extremely kind, gentle, and answered any questions or concerns I had. The products she used worked wonderfully on my sensitive skin. She’s really educated in skin care and helped me figure out the next steps to keep my skin healthy and manage my acne. I felt relaxed and clean afterwards. I’m extremely excited to take my mom there soon!

Kaitlyn Regnier I’ve been coming to Sephora for a long time and have never left a review, but Scott was so amazing today I felt the need to. His color matching was spot on and he referred me to his favorite products based on my needs. He was exceptionally helpful, kind, and pleasant, and I had an overall great experience today.

Emma Young Came in with a simple question about redeeming a birthday gift. I first asked a woman a question about where to redeem and she was very short with me, but pointed me in the right direction. Next a man came to help me and was incredibly rude. I had never redeemed the birthday points in person before and so I just wanted some guidance. Instead, the man helping me had a horrible attitude, was very short with me, and made my experience horrible. I don’t think this interaction should have been this complicated. I made sure to be very polite and kind, so there was no need for this kind of treatment, especially on my birthday. I am not coming back to this location it was such an unpleasant experience.

VENTUS TERRA If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked a full-face makeup appointment for my wedding a week in advance, clearly noting in my instructions that I needed to be finished before 11:30 am. I scheduled a 10:00 am appointment for a 60-minute session, ensuring I would have enough time. Sephora called me THE DAY before my wedding to inform me that the look I requested would take 90 minutes, not the 60 I had originally booked. There was no prior communication about this, and they only raised the issue the day before the appointment. Instead of offering solutions or even acknowledging their scheduling error, they offered me a 30-minute session, focusing on only one part of my face. This last-minute change completely disrupted my carefully planned schedule and left me scrambling to adjust. It’s clear that Sephora’s communication and customer service are unprofessional and inconsiderate. Brides, if you value your time and want a reliable, stress-free experience, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. I will not be returning.

Sofia Dumlao It was my 2nd time coming here for balayage. This time, Allison styled and cut my hair. She did exactly what I wanted and went above my expectations. Ive had many balayage before in different salons. I would definitely come back here and get it done with her. She was friendly yet professional. Reservation is so easy, too. I called the day before, and they had an opening. Parking was easy to find. They have a parking lot. The price is comparable to the quality of service. They offered me something to drink when I got there so I would say the receptionist was friendly. The atmosphere was high-end, professional, and friendly.

kaylee staples I have been to Rod Sickler Salon twice and the first time I went, I was very pleased with my experience and how my hair turned out as I am naturally brunette transitioning to blonde. My stylist was Madison Sowers and the first time I went she had done a wonderful job of lightening my hair without any noticeable damage. Three months later, I scheduled another appointment to have my roots touched up as they had grown out. I tried to allow as much space in between each appointment to minimize the amount of damage on my hair. After my second appointment, I went home to be very disappointed as my mom had taken pictures of the back of my head where my roots/outgrowth was still very brown. I sent the pictures to Madison and she never responded until I followed up about my message several day later when she then said that I could come back in and she would look at it. When I came into the salon, she never apologized and made me feel as if I was a burden. She said to me that because my hair had grown out so much that she didn’t have time to do it all during my appointment which I completely understand and would have been fine with had she communicated that to me instead of charging me the full price knowing that she didn’t do my whole head. I am a college student and honestly felt very taken advantage of. After I left that time, my hair was extremely damaged and breaking off in random places all over my head. That was on June 23rd and since then I have done all that I know to do between oil, hair masks, and not washing it to try to restore the damage that was done but I still have not been able to do anything with my hair but wear it up in a bun because of the amount of damage that was done to it that day. I called to express my complaints and was never offered a refund, only to come in for a third time for someone else to look at it and to do a conditioning treatment. I should not have to go back somewhere three times to have healthy hair that I am happy with when paying the amount that I paid. I debated between just letting it go and leaving this review, but still months later this just doesn’t sit right with me and I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. Very disappointing. Attached are the photos my mom took after my appointment that I sent to Madison of how my hair was left unfinished.

Molly Madden My husband and I have been going to Studio 9 regularly for several years now. Janelle cuts both of our hair and she does great work!

Bethany Fay Cindy is the absolute best. Even when I didnt go in very often she always remembered me (partially because of my super thick hair!). And when I wanted it cut short she gave me a fantastic cut that I love. I moved out of state and I wish I could have taken her with me! Also, their services and prices for wedding hair and makeup were excellent. I paid less than $100 for hair and makeup combined (including trial) and I was extremely happy with both. I think Janelle did my hair and she did a great job!

Evelyne Tardy It was very nice to go where I knew it would be sterile and safe, especially after a toe procedure. The hot towel application was nice, and my nails got clipped and a little dry skin removal was performed but the cuticles were not attended to and my nail polish was not removed as promised.

Brigitte Ferdinandsen Took my 80 year old dad to get his toe nails trimmed. Fantastic experience for him. Fabulous staff. Thank you for providing such a wonderful service.

McAllister Madison (Evie) I am not sure they know what they are doing here: nice color selection, but they got the gel color on my skin a lot, which is a pretty big no-no apparently as even small exposure of gel to skin can lead to allergies and other issues down the line, and when I came in hoping to have them professionally removed, they pried them off with cuticle trimmers and then sanded down my nails with a coarse nail file on top of the nail and called it a manicure. They looked like broken obsidian if looked at closely. I payed 35 dollars (plus a tip because Im a pushover and didnt realize how bad it was before leaving). My nails hurt for days after and will be paper thin for the next month or so until they grow back out. I am constantly afraid something will tear through them in this state. I know gel and acrylics are damaging, but this was unreasonable. I cant do a thing with my nails. Plus, they still have the red color on them in places since no one used acetone or anything like to to actually remove the color like I asked. I could have pried them off myself at home, but the internet advised against that as it is known to have possible long term negative consequences for nail beds, and it recommended going to a professional to have them help remove it in a more gentle manner. I asked the salon about possibly getting my money back and they say no refunds. They did offer to sand my nails down again, but I really dont think that would be smart in their state. Overall, I accept that it is what it is, but Id advise you all to look elsewhere for a nail job. Edit bcause I totally forgot to mention, when I initially went in for the first time, the man who did my nails was handling me without gloves while he had a bleeding cut on his finger. Honestly should have been a red flag at that point. RIP. (also these pictures were taken right after getting home after leaving the removal and manicure visit.

Jazzmin Byler They take their time and do it right! They are both really friendly, great customer service! I got a gel full set and a pedicure. (The got stones are a great touch) She did the whole process and a little more. She was also very gentle while doing my nails. I will definitely be coming back! (The nails look really pretty just excuse my broken finger)

Amy Cantrell This is my second time having a French gel manicure there. First one lasted 2+ weeks, which I have had trouble getting at other places. I did have one fingernail break about a week in and it was fixed quickly, free of charge. Also.. Everyone is so nice!

N This was my first time here, I did not have an appointment and was seen within 20 minutes. They had a large variety of SNS/gel polishes but not much for dip which is what I got. It seemed like the powders were old as he had to mix the powder to break apart the chunks, and unfortunately I had one on my thumb that didn’t get filed down. He also didn’t cover the powder fully with the top coat so the sides of a couple nails aren’t smooth. The facility was nice and clean, and the staff seemed friendly.

Collin Unzicker Went here for the first time about a week ago and had a wonderful overall experience. The booking process was simple and seamless. My stylist, Nic, did a fantastic job, and I was very pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend checking this place out if youre looking for a more modern barbershop experience with a nice chill vibe.

Dylan Criollo The three times I have gotten my haircut with Omar, he has always been very helpful and gave me ideas on what haircut I should get when I wasnt sure. He has great customer service and always leaves me looking fresh and with a confidence boost. Great to banter about soccer with you as well!

Molly Frank love love love Gwen and her work! I had my first appointment with her today and she did such an amazing job! Her space is quiet and peaceful, but best of all CLEAN. I also love that she offers BIAB!

Angela Bradley Fantastic service EVERY time!! I look good, my daughter looks good...you cant beat that! Carlotta is also highly professional and very pleasant to be around. (Shes also very clean and disinfects everything which is a big plus these days. She also wears an N95 mask the whole time so it is a safer environment). I wholeheartedly recommend her services!

However after viewing her social media business page--she continued to posts her designs and offer appointments. Im confused as to why I was denied services...I thought a business owner would accept any business. She clearly does a great job! Oh well, on to the next salon...

Jeanni Tiffany is the best ! She slayed my nails per usual ! And she always knows exactly what I need and is so personable that it feels like family ! Brian is amazing as well as the rest of the staff ! They are the absolute best !

Melissa Studniarz This was my first time going to this salon, I got a full set acrylics after reading some good reviews online. The girl that did my nails was nice and friendly, the shop was clean… but my nails turned out terrible. One nail was crooked, I had about 3 others that were pointing in the upwards position. I’ve had my nails done plenty of times and they have never NEVER looked like this or this horrendous. Additionally, when my nails were being painted, another tech and client sat down very close next to us… he was removing her old set, and while he was doing that chunks of nail were flying all over.. several hitting me in my face area. Also on my hand that had not set yet, it got dust into the gel as he was electric filing the other persons nails down simply because we got sat so close to each other. Unfortunately I did not do a great job of looking at my nails until I got into my car (I felt extremely rushed at the end of the service to wash up, pay and leave). I ended up having the nails removed the same day (NOT at this salon) because they were literally so bad it was embarrassing and I could not trust them to touch my nails again after that experience. I’d honestly like my money back…. And I will never go there again. Several other girls at my work have also had similar experiences (which I found out only after I went around showing them all what a terrible job they did). Stay clear of this place, I beg you.

Erin Wachtel Emma @ Timothy John did my hair for our wedding. She was wonderful! Her personality was the best and she was so easy to work with. I still get compliments on my hair from my day. Timothy Johns staff was incredibly easy to work with, too, especially since I was planning from Colorado. I could not recommend them, enough.

Lynn Fiscella Brandy Simnick is my stylist there - shes fabulous! Brandy did an excellent job with both cut and color; I brought photos and she discussed with me what would work with my hair, and it turned out perfectly! Shes knowledgable and experienced, a good communicator, friendly and professional. Her space is decorated beautifully and is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend her!

Mollie Pritchard Susu was amazing with my daughter. She is so warm and loving which makes the whole experience so memorable. We will definitely be continuing our hair health journey with her! ❤️

Andy Morris I have had actual nightmares of ruining my curls with a haircut so I was nervous to get it cut significantly shorter, but I decided to do it because it would make my life easier. I am so glad that I chose The Egyptian Queen because Susu was absolutely amazing. She made my curls CURL. My hair is absolutely stunning after this cut and Im so thankful. I will be returning for any hair needs that I have because she knows what shes doing with my thick curly hair.

Gabby Wendland My hairstylist was Stephanie H! I last minute booked an appointment due to a different salon rescheduling (as I was literally in the salon chair!!), left, ended up booking for the wrong service here (clicked "Hair Color Root Touchup", instead of partial highlights), explained what I wanted done, and she was able to get it done, even on a time crunch! I dont have any before pictures regrettably, but imagine decently grown out brown roots, with mainly brassy/yellow highlights. She was able to meet my needs, even with me messing up the service selection, in a timely manner. She was straight forward, and got the job done. My hair looks great, even with my crappy bathroom lighting!! I added a picture of it in front of natural light too. One thing Id like to note for anybody looking into going here, is that tips are cash only, they do have an ATM available with a small fee though! :D I will definitely be back! (Scheduling the proper service, this time) ❤️

Natalia Awisha Ive been coming here for a little over 2 years, and I love it so much. Cinderella washes, cuts, colors, and styles my hair. She takes her time and makes sure everything is done the way I want it. I cant trust anyone else with my hair after I had one appointment with her! Shes great at making conversation, and also very funny. She gives the best hair washes too! She massages my scalp and I truly feel like Im at a spa when I come here. I am offered drinks when I arrive too, and I feel like I can always fully relax when I come here. It was my first time dyeing my hair, and she did an awesome job! I dyed my hair copper then red and I kept coming back every couple months to touch up the color and get trims, and recently I dyed my hair a deep violet color. Cinderellas care and service exceeds my expectations! The photos I uploaded are from November 2021 until December of 2023.

osama sara I requested an appointment online for haircut with Brianna and got an appointment confirmed at 12 pm. After I arrived, the front desk asked me to wait in the waiting area and Brianna will be ready in few minutes but to my surprise after waiting there for few minutes the front desk lady came again and told me that Brianna is sick and no one else is available to do my haircut and I have to reschedule. I feel I should have been contacted about the cancellation earlier before I present to my appointment and not to wait until I come. Also, I still don’t understand why they asked me to wait for Brianna if they knew already she was sick today. This is in my opinion unprofessional and reflects poor customer service !!
