1 /5 Angela Mortensen: Be vigilant. I went in for tire repair. When I had my roadside service put my spare on, there was a furniture tack stuck in the middle of the tread. Karmark said they found another nail in a different tire and I paid for 2 repairs. I think there was confusion and both were in the same tire. But I discovered later that they patched a hole near the tire wall, where patches should never be placed because there is too much flex there and the patch can fail. Karmarks patch failed the day after it was placed. Luckily, it was after my young daughter and I drove home 200 miles on the interstate. Granted, I didnt ask the specific location of the patch, but a repair shop should know better than to put a patch in that location on a tire. It could have blown out at 70 mph on the highway. They put my family in danger. Please be careful.
