shashank bajpai: Nice and tidy museum at UIUC. Theres no section on India in Asia section, which is very surprising. Maybe the Museum should get some funding to add an India specific section and that would be nice.

Champaign-Urbana Adventures in Time and Space
Phil Venton: CU Adventures in Time and Space is an absolute must-visit. We came from California as part of a tour specifically to play here. We played all 7 games as of April 2025 in the course of two days. Several of the best rooms in the whole country are here. Can’t recommend highly enough. Beautiful sets, fun stories, interesting puzzles, and amazing staff. So friendly and fun. Come try it for yourself.

    William M. Staerkel Planetarium
Lacey Ford: Nice planetarium. Second largest in illinois next to Adler in Chicago. Good, short shows. Reasonable price. Booking online doesnt help skip a wait in line. Would be nice if the seats leaned back. Overall, worth the experience. Kids ages 14 to 2 all enjoyed it.
    Douglass Park - Champaign
    Douglass Park
Paulette Miller: The park is nice and very well kept. They put down a new surface for the basketball courts. They have a splash area for the kids but several of the features were in need of repair. The button to push to start the water is located in the very center and the kids had a hard time getting it started. They claim there is a second button located one of the posts on the outside edge but we never found it. Water can be turned on after 10:00 am.

    Crystal Lake Park - Urbana
    Crystal Lake Park
Andrew Hail: Crystal Lake Park has it all. There is a great nature center with an accessible boardwalk hiking trail through the woods, playground, paddle boat and canoe rentals, plenty of walking paths all over the expansive park grounds, as well as a nice aquatic center with 2 body slides, tube slide, splash rock wall, and kiddie area. There is more than enough fun to keep a family busy for a whole day if not an entire weekend. The grounds are well kept, walking trails are nicely maintained, and plentiful nature to be found everywhere.
    Giant Macaroni Noodle -
Duncan Shipley: It is a very large macaroni noodle, but it is behind a big fence so you can’t get close to take a picture :(
