Debbie Klein: 5$ to get in. Grandkids loved it, a lot of the areas are non operating especially in the vet room, but the concept and dress up was still appreciated. Interesting old building . Though its geared towards 10 and under my older grandchildren found things to do . The outside section was closed due to weather. Many secret spaces to entertain the kids. We spent about 2 hour here.

De Lilah: This is a huge park and EVERY inch of it is clean. The park has a tennis court, a soccer section, a hill for sledding, a trail and a cute playground with a sand pit. It also has a shelter with grill. Super nice.

Roberto Sabas: This is a nice quiet place to walk or bike around and there were families fishing on the west shore. The park district maintains it well and Im appreciative of the infrastructure improvements theyve made to the pathways over the years. I also like the extra touches that make this an aesthetically pleasant destination, such as the garden nooks, the shady sitting areas, and the sculpture (of which I hope they add more in the future). I enjoyed my time painting a quick watercolor sketch there.

George Clasey: I have not been to this park. On my search of my family history it is believed that my great grandfather was buried there in 1880-1881 time frame and no knowledge that he was moved when the Leal Park cemetery was convert to a city park and the grave marker/head stones were buried on top of the grave 2 feet under the surface. Anyone having more information on this I would be interested in hearing from you.

Averee: A nice huge park near the dog park, with a lot of biking and walking paths, and beautiful lakes to fish in or look at. There are also looking put spots, and at the center there is play equipment with cool structures and slides, plus a bike rack, a bridge, benches, grassy spaces, etc. It is in a bit of an isolated location, though you could also see this as peaceful really. Has cool bridges and good for the whole family, including dogs. Also has shady spots with cool picnic locations. In weird location near to sewage plant as previously noted sort of
