1 /5 K Davison: Dr. Opperman replaced my former dentist, Dr. Moore, who had retired. Dr. Os son found 2 cavities and scheduled for them to get filled. Two appointments were made. For both appointments, I was horrified at how Dr. Opperman and his assistant treated me.
The first time I went in, Dr. O (whom I had never met), walked in, didnt introduce himself nor talk to me, and immediately got to work. Right away, I felt like I couldnt trust him because he had such poor bed side manners. The filling went fine but while I was still in the chair and right after he had finished, his assistant plopped my work bag onto my lap and walked away! I was still slightly woozy from the pain medication and it seemed like she just wanted me out of there! Dr. O didnt talk to me afterwards. When I looked at the job he had done, he left part of the filling on another tooth, as it had slid down (that didnt have a cavity), and now Im stuck with a sliver of silver on a different tooth.
The second filling was even worse! His work was so horrible that I cannot eat on that side of my mouth anymore without feeling intense pain. His manners towards me were brisk and unprofessional.
Now, I dont expect my dentist to be buddy-buddy with me but Dr. Moore (previous dentist) was very kind and actually TALKED to me about various things. I hated Dr. Os work so much that I immediately switched dentists. I wish I had said something sooner to his office because I would have put up a fight and demanded reimbursement.
