  • What Clients Are Saying about Oregon Park West (on GG)
5 /5 Candy Jordan: Wonderful park to walk or ride bikes, rollerblades. I play Monster Hunter and it has plenty of ore to mine and monsters to hunt. Beautiful scenery and trees to give you shade here and there. Water Park for the kids near the school. Usually plenty of parking they were redoing the one lot with asphalt so it will be really nice the next time I go.
5 /5 Jen Heller: This park is so well taken care of it spoils me. The bathrooms are all clean and stocked. No garbage to be seen. Well maintained. I wish more parks could be like this.
5 /5 Luke Chitwood: Playground with thoughtful, inclusive design good for all ages, including an excellent hillside water feature/splash pad.
5 /5 Melissa Rojas: Park West is great! Lots to do, and I like the interesting extra little things they have like that arch game, the mini soccer field thing, and that other game (Im not sure what any of them are called but they are fun). It is definitely a great park to walk and play. I think the only issue they have is sometimes having too many things planned at the same time so that parking can become a problem.
3 /5 Miscellaneous Muzik: Lots of upgrades and a great place to bring your kids. The walking path is well paved and well maintained... awesome place to get your steps in. The only real issue, some of the staff members who actually maintaining the park, need a flipping attitude adjustment.

Brian Oelberg: Hard to find but lovely spot on the Rock river. If you’re a canoeing or kayaking, this is your best option north of Oregon. There’s a dock (ADA accessible) and a paddle downriver, keeping to the right, will put you at the mouth of the Leaf River. This is a shaded, calm and pretty journey away from all the big river traffic.

Shan B: First time visiting and the trails are so much fun to walk and look at all the different wildlife and birds! We were able to see many birds and even three deer! There were many squirrels running around as well. Very well, maintain trails and a lot of active people walking them. Need to come back when the nature center is open so that way we can go inside and see what it’s all about. Great for families and everyone of all ages.

ᗰคгรєlค ᗰ.: We had the Playhouse reserved for a family event through Skip Along child development where the families could come in and enjoy some time together. I was quite impressed with the things that the playhouse had to offer and its definitely a great place to bring your kiddos so they can explore and learn some things! I absolutely love all the different activity centers that they had were the kiddos had things that they could interact with like the piano bridge, the water table, the train track, and the ballroom. So much fun stuff to do and I highly recommend bringing your child!

Bob Andersen: We always stop here on our annual road trips east. Is its small (compared to what we are used to in Omah), quaint, and fun! My kids love it! We really enjoy the Australian Walkabout with the emu and the wallabies where they are free roaming and the humans are confined to the path. There are numerous opportunities to learn and see a variety of different species. It will continue to be a regular stop for us to enjoy this gem in Peoria.

Dennis Robinson: Wow, what an incredible experience! My family opted to purchase the pass, which granted us complimentary entry to numerous other museums and science centers. Additionally, we received discounts on tickets to other attractions if the entry fee was free. This trip allowed us to immerse our kids in diverse cultures. From the vibrant car culture, which encompassed various subcultures like bikers, truckers, low riders, and artists of all kinds, to the fascinating planetarium show, we were captivated by the exhibits. We were so impressed that we ended up wanting to watch several more shows. However, I must admit that the lady at the counter was not particularly receptive to our requests. We wanted our daughter to participate in the scavenger hunt, but it seemed like she was having a rough day or perhaps didn’t enjoy her job. Despite this, we managed to get our daughter involved. The gift shop at the museum was also quite extensive and offered a wide range of souvenirs.
