Mohammad Mohammad: This is nice quite park West of Champaign. There is nothing on the west side so it has all clear sky and good spot for star watchers. It has basketball court and tennis courts.
Will Giblin: This is a very nice spot to sit in relax. During the summer months I like to come here with a camping chair and sit out with my friends. I usually bring a frisbee out so we can through it around. This a place that is usually a bit less crowded than the main quad if you want to come out here to study. People do play loud music sometimes so do be warned.
Ian Brown: As far as plots go, Id give this one a 3 out of 5. The corn was ok, but overall Id like to see it do something special, like carnivorously attacking random passerby. When I walk by plots like this, I want to feel some sort of emotion, such as fear of my impending demise, but when I walk by these plots, I feel nothing.
Mark Athey: Nice enough park. Some grass to play in, decent sized playground, 1 basketball court, one shelter with 2 tables. Nice neighborhood park, if I couldnt walk to I wouldnt seek out.
Will Giblin: I have run here many times. This is a hidden gem in the Champaign-Urbana area. I was on the cross country team and we would ways run here while out and about. It was always clean and it was always close to a Porta John somewhere which is nice. There is a 9 mile loop you can connect with this that we made up by running around the streets of Champaign and Urbana.
Carolyn Schroeder: Scott took us on a tour with Sam & Susan Reese.
His insightful comments about the then, avant garde technology of the 60s & 70s were mesmerizing.
Also, coming from a Marine Corps family, Sousas music holds a special place in my heart. I was delighted to see his original piccolo part for Star & Stripes Forever & news archives about him.
Thank you, Scott.
Jonathon Smith: Really neat place to visit on campus. Tours are no longer happening as of 2018, but the chimes are being played daily! Always feel free to message the players on their facebook page if you want more info.
Patricia Doerr: Lots of fun. Our host was very knowledgeable of Christian County. This is a must-see for all Abe Lincoln fans. The museum and The Last Stop statue made a great afternoon. Donations accepted for upkeep and education of the county.
Riley Elam: Very family friendly, has bathrooms, water fountains, and places to see the lake. They have bike lanes and lots if places to park. Also a community pool.
