Despite a confusion on a part order (not the fault of the shop), I never even noticed the extra time. And they are completely understanding of odd work schedules. My repair ended up being a bit more intensive than originally planned (again not the fault of RAGs), but I was never made to feel like it was putting them out. Even though I live an hour a away, I think I found my cars new repair shop.

    Nick M.: Lets set the scene... We are from out of town and we started to hear this rattle from underneath. We went to Google to see who was open at 1pm on Saturday and prayed someone would have some availability. Thankfully we called Speedy 1 and this nice older lady said to come over and she would see what she could do. We pulled up and the gentleman mechanic was eating lunch, so she hopped in the vehicle and drove it around. She pulled it in and got it on the lift. She said the heat shield was making the noise and it was an easy fix. Boom... 30 secs later and everything was perfect. I told her I didnt have cash, only a card... and when we got to the register she said to tell her how much the job was worth. I asked if $25 was ok, and she entered $20. This is an older shop and it is amazing! Very fair, and excellent work! Thank you for saving the day!

    Tristan Stamets: ATI is not the cheapest repair facility in Decatur, but they are 100% the most dependable. They work on everything from lawnmowers to semi trucks to BMWs. Their staff is knowledgeable and passionate. Brian is extremely generous and dependable, and Dawn is a genius. Theyve worked on our box trucks for work, and I send my cars there for service as well. They stand by their work, and I wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else.

He is almost refusing to let me get said motor on this day because it is his birthday and he doesn’t want to work even if the posted business hours says so. Sad these low end “mechanics” are allowed to run businesses.
