5 /5 Michelle Jacob: My parents started using Stevenson years ago and always had the best experiences. For years now I have been purchasing the Car Care Club card. Not only does it make getting oil changes so much easier but has come in so handy. Not only is their work high quality, but their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. There’s no surprises and best of all no BS. They are always my go to if I have any issues or concerns; and most definitely the first shop I recommend to friends and family. Now that my son has his first vehicle, he will be getting a Car Care Club card also and having his vehicle checked out by the areas most trustworthy, caring, and knowledgeable staff. 5 /5 Earl Bontrager: We broke down traveling through Kankakee in a 1969 Chevy pickup. I called Stevenson on a recommendation from a competitor. They made a special effort to get us in and diagnosed as soon as possible. We had to wait a few days for a part to be delivered. While they were waiting, they did everything they could without having the part. They got it done the day the part arrived. Our truck performed flawlessly the rest of our trip. I appreciate the honesty and fair prices for the excellent work they do. Thank you, Bill Stevenson, for all that you did. I would recommend this shop to all my friends.

5 /5 Lucas Murphy: This was hands down my best experience with an auto repair shop ever! I was on a road trip coming from Florida and I was having issues with the manual transmission in my 93 Civic leaking oil while passing through Kankakee IL. Having changed the front axles before the trip, it turns out I nicked the oil seal in the transaxle while installing the new axles. Having been on a very tight college kid budget, I couldnt afford much in the way of repairs. I managed to find the one specific part I needed at a local Honda dealership and I called Stevenson Auto to ask if they could simply take my provided part and install it. We were only passing through so we couldnt afford to stay in town very long either. They saw me that same morning that I called and had me in and out in an hour or so and for a very affordable price. They were incredibly friendly and respectful. Having done most of the work myself on my car, they were happy to explain and show everything they did in great detail. They were by far some of the most professional and competent mechanics Ive every encountered. My encounter with them was in June of 2016, and since then Ive received a thank you note and a Christmas card from them! Thank you Stevenson Auto Repair for being so thoughtful and professional, and thank you for helping us get this little 93 Civic through all 8,000 miles of our American road trip! Couldnt have done it without you!
