Welch Ron: Picturesque visit for a short in stature but quintessential little tower.

Tabitha Baio: Decided to take the dead river trail this time. It was a great hike. Highly recommend this trail. Dead river is named not because it is polluted, but because it runs toward, but does not flow into Lake Michigan. Just yards from its goal, the river disappears into the sand in an apparent dead end.

Ela Zed: We thought it was a fun time to spend a hot day. However, the prices for tickets, food ($18 for a slice of pizza lol and it doesnt get better) , parking ($40), "VIP" seats/umbrellas/cabanas ($45-$150)and lockers($15-$30) are exorbitant and not worth coming back. The smells of sewage and dirty backwash water in some places like the entrance to the lazy river and entrance to the wave pool are nauseating. We went on a relatively slow day so wait times for water rides werent too bad but they only let you ride the lazy river once on a tube - defeating the purpose entirely. You can walk it as long as you Ike, though. The wave pool free seating was completely full all day and they didnt open the "vip" seats up even though they were pretty much the same seats for at least $45. We found plenty free seats elsewhere. We felt the place was clean otherwise and we ended up having a nice time because we didnt buy any food, upgraded seats or products. I cant imagine what a family of 6 would spend here in a day. The business model here is very skewed bit as long as people keep coming here and paying $25 for a locker, $25 for a plain cheeseburger and $40 to put their car on a piece of concrete, this place will keep chugging along.
    Jack Benny Statue - Waukegan
Matthew Williams: Wonderful tribute to Jack Benny. This statue probably cost more than he was willing to spend and celebrates the life of Americas greatest 39 year old.

Kris Cears: This is a really nice, small park. My son absolutely loved the zipline, and I had fun on it as well. There are also some good slides and other unique equipment I havent seen at other parks, and we visit quite a few whenever we travel.

Diana Burdette: Contacted park district, discovered the ugly run off area is to be a rain garden. Long grass is growing in and its looking quite nice. The rain garden will look amazing once its fully in. New really innovative equipment, a splash pad, multi age range, a dodge ball court, great bathrooms, and picnic area. What a great addition to the community.
