1 /5 Josh Quinton: Charged $20 for a diagnostic code scanning and no other services. This is simply exorbitant considering that most garages will do so for $5 (or even free).
Edit: To illustrate how insanely ridiculous this is: I purchased an entire auto code scanner for less than $20 myself. No "expert advice" or "auto repair" was provided from the shop after scanning the code (aside from... exactly what the code said), so the argument that the fee is "very reasonable" is absolutely absurd.
