5 /5 Tanner Aaron D. (Biduman): We took the 12 miles kayak trip and had a perfect day out on the river. The team at White Pelican is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful at every step in the process. The only nit I have to pick is that some of the equipment could use a refresh. For example, my kayak had a broken foot rest on the left side, and the storage wasnt quite adequate for our trip bag, but ultimately, these things didnt take much away from the trip. There are miles of beautiful forest and magnificent rocky walls/outcrops. We stopped off at a couple of the islands and found gorgeous flowers and undisturbed wilderness that is deeply refreshing. We also stopped at the Castle Rock Park observatory and took in the stunning views atop the platforms there. ** If you plan to stop here, too, do yourself a favor and pull your boat in to where the shore looks rocky and sandy. The mud is at least six inches deep and extremely sticky. I found this out the hard way. ** In short, this is a trip I would gladly take again, and I will definitely go through White Pelican again when I do.

5 /5 Umar Haque: This was a such a great outing for the Scouts and adult leaders! Ryan was extremely helpful with coordination and getting all of us geared up and embarked on our journey down the Rick River. We even had a physically challenged Scout who needed an extra Canoe chair and Ryan and the team helped secure him in safely. Mad respect to you all for what you do at White Pelican! You helped me fall in love with canoeing. Thanks again!!!

5 /5 Dark Tragedy: Went kayaking for the first time with them. Super easy to book, service was great and the river was scenic. Definitely would recommend a trip and I’m sure we will be back. Best money we’ve spent in a long time, well worth it.

5 /5 Theresa Driscoll: Awesome experience! Very helpful staff, pick up an launch was quick and smooth. And the scenery is amazing, saw eagles, lots of white pelicans, and herons. 12 mile paddle took about 5 hrs, with a couple stops, great way to spend the day on the beautiful Rock River.

Easy to pay and do the waivers online before you even get there and then get any important info from the professional staff when you start your trek! Thanks for an amazing experience!!
