Jaclyn I want to give this school a good review, but I cant.
I felt welcomed in the beginning, & then there was discimination (that wasnt addressed) towards my family at the end. This school doesnt know how to handle situations, & just expells (without trying to solve the problem). Expelling isnt how to solve a problem, it just makes it worse. Clare Woods picks favorites, & chooses to discriminate. Discrimination is NOT OK.
When you share your concerns with the school, they deny it, & say it didnt happen. When you share your concerns with the school, they also ignore it. When the school asks you for advice about your child, they continue to trigger ur child on purpose, & keep doing it. I felt like I was walking on egg shells with Clare Woods Academy. Having trust for these schools today, is very hard to do, you want to trust them, but then here are some reasons why schools cant be trusted. It really makes me question, if this school really has their certificates, & degrees to their jobs.
Beware IF your child IS recieving services, I can assure you, your child ISNT recieving the proper services. I can go on about what I observed, but Clare Woods Academy FAILS to solve ANY problems, so I would be waisting my time. Do yourself a favor, & go to another school.
Clare Woods Academy truly doesnt understand Autism. Clare Woods Academy is definately NOT educators in learning, or being a roll model (quite the opposite).
Clare Woods Academy is only about image, & CWA is VERY unprofessional. When people on the Adminstration Side quit, & they quit bc, of racial discrimination, then you can understand why (I give chances, but this school needs a review).
I had to report to the Board of Education, & Office of Civil Rights.

The high school currently has a tortoise named Kobe even the younger students love to see Coby and fortunately coby is getting too big and has to go live with the person who adopted him.
They even have Girl Scouts as well as Boy Scouts. For the younger kids they have a playground they have a girls group on Thursdays and a boys group on Wednesdays.
They have art once a week
