Chase The University of Chicago campus is my absolute favorite place in the city. The mix of gothic architecture, peaceful landscaping, rich history, and world-class museums is wonderful to experience. Will keep visiting again and again.

Lei Li The campus of the University of Chicago boasts architectural beauty and grandeur. Each building carries a distinct style, and the institutions prides itself with rich history and commitment to academic excellence. The main quad is a certified botanic garden; nature and learning intertwine seamlessly, providing an enriching environment for both the mind and soul. With the fall semester just kicking off, there was palpable excitement in the air, especially among the freshmen eager to embark on their academic journey. Sharing these photos with you all, hoping to give a glimpse of this magnificent place.

3b0p The university has a modern and big campus. Famous singers and comedians go to their arena to perform there and it’s for free if you study there! There’s a lot of things there. There’s a bank, Amazon, and a lot of restaurants. We had lunch there. There were a lot of choices to choose from. It was good and two students talked to us about how it is there. I really like this university and I might go there.

Brian Turner I did a research study here, and things went well and the study coordinator was helpful and professional.

Ivan Corona I completed my bachelors at UIC and I can truly say I enjoyed my time here. Ofc the campus is not the most aesthetically pleasing campus but is not as bad as many people make it seem. There’s a lot of green spaces and everything is close by and connected or easily accessible. There’s so many ways to move within and outside of the campus. Blue line, cta buses, school buses etc. It truly feels like a university campus. My favorite part was the recreational center. Oh man I loved that place! +There is a lot of renovations and new buildings around campus

Ivan Corona I was accepted to this university and came very close to accepting. However, after visiting the campus and considering various factors, I ultimately decided not to attend. Firstly, I want to emphasize that my review is solely based on my experience visiting the campus and its facilities; I did not take any classes here. The campus lacks an inviting atmosphere; it doesnt give off the feeling of a traditional university campus. Moreover, there is minimal diversity within the student body. Considering this is an expensive private school, the buildings and facilities appear old and depressing, everything feels disconnected. If Im willing to invest this much money, I would prefer to choose a different institution. In addition to these concerns, the area around the campus is not very safe. It consistently gives off a sense of unease, with the feeling that someone might be following you. + There is like two or three buildings that have some great qualities and interiors.

Davis Michael If you are a Masters student looking for admission to Illinois Tech, this is the worst university in Illinois state - mainly because students studying in this university struggle to get on campus jobs, and they graduate with no SSN or no EAD card at the end of their graduation! All the on campus jobs goes to either PhD students, leaving Masters students with no help to fund their studies, and the worst thing is the tuition fees is one of the most expensive in the state - Absolutely the worst!

Jennifer Munoz This McDonald’s is pretty awesome! If you go on the weekend, make sure you try to go early. We went at two. It was very hard to get a seat. We had to wait a little while. There’s not enough seating, but the concept is very cool. The restaurant was extremely clean. It had lots of different menu items. The Japanese chicken nuggets were great and the Ramen shaker fries are awesome. The staff was very friendly and we received our order quickly and it was hot and fresh.

Jay This is a really cool interesting place ! The food was McDonald’s good. Some employees are wearing business attire. The service is actually fast and the staff is polite considering it’s Chicago. Most tables have charging pads. There are McDonalds mints near the condiments. They have outdoor seating. The train nearby is sketchy with rude locals.

Autumn Cao Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Japanese black pepper garlic nuggets and the masala shaker fries and they were both bursting with flavor. So much tastier than the regular nuggets and fries. My friend also got a global flavor McFlurry and that looked great too. I will definitely be back to try more global menu items.

Tiffany Owens This has to be the worst health care facility that I have ever used services from. The doctors that I worked with were great. But when it Came to being open and honest about cost and payments this is where they fell short. Before most of my appointments I asked how much would they cost. I got a different answer completely from what was billed to me. They coded one of my appointments wrong resulting in my insurance no longer covering it. When I tried to fight it and have them re-code it so that it will be covered with my insurance, they gave me a letter saying that they cannot do so. The amounts that they charged me are so off-base from what they told me that I will never go there again. I’ve had three separate appointments to where this has happened. If you decide to use this facility please make sure you get documentation about how much your visit will be before you leave. And do be surprised if they charge you triple what they told you.

CherryBomb737 I cannot say enough great things about the “RUSH” experience. The employees at this facility are amazing humans and always make us feel welcome and comfortable. This opinion comes from years of experiences over the last 19 years. There is a reason that we drive past many facilities to get to this very capable medical institution. The communication between the patients and Drs are Barr none the best we have ever experienced. They care for you and your family here and it shows with every one we come across. No wonder they are now ranked #1 in the nation for Quality. They are also Joint Commission accreted and this matters! Trust me. Update: Another successful surgery by the RUSH team. Wonderful bedside manners by the nurses, anesthesiologist and surgeons. They made you feel like you matter from registration to the end. 2/19/21 : I had great care from start to finish for my recent sinus surgery.

Thomas Kossnar Best hospital Ive ever been to. That includes Northwestern. The staff is professional and not stuck up. I feel more like Im in a Hyatt than a hospital. I had emergency surgery on my eye there once. Dr. Brown saved my eye. Ppl from all around the country come to Rush to see him. Go to Rush!

Charles Hardin I attended a conference at this college with several friends. The college itself is immaculate and well designed. It was clean and the staff were pleasant as well as professional. The event itself was well organized and informative. The president of the college spoke at the conference and I found him to be inspirational and very articulate! The city of Chicago is blessed to have this college!

RY This is a beautiful campus, with very well equipped classrooms. However, getting into Associate programs here is very difficult. Specially because of the constant changes in students advisers. A lot of incompetence and miss information. Also,in my personal experience with a 3.7 GPA, I applied to Respiratory Care Program, In the process I was told by the respiratory care program director ,Jane Reynolds, that I had a strong accent, that might interfere with communication with patients. After that she never replied to my Emails. Felt very discriminated and doomed.

3b0p This review is based on a tour that I took, and I will talk about most of the pictures that I took. There are monitors in the hallways. They have the weather on them or events. Theres a useful board that has all of the students’ activities. When you walk around you will see the balloons that were put together creatively. The presentation was about majors, tuition, and housing. They were kind enough to give us a tour of The Nest. There is plenty of parking space. The lobby was well designed. It had a quiet place to study, a gaming place, and a gym. When we went to see the model of the apartments. I realized that there were alarms and fire extinguishers, which is a good thing for safety. The apartment has everything in it! It has a dishwasher, microwave, and furniture. There were 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room. The cafeteria was huge and I like the fact that students and professors eat there. The food wasn’t that bad. I like the fries and the chicken fingers more than cheeseburger.

Judy Birgen I love Chicago State. Just to be fair, you should know that I teach there. We have had a corrupt administration, but things are looking better. Our current Acting President is wonderful and has worked hard to improve the services and atmosphere on campus. Ive always been proud to teach at CSU. Ive been around long enough to see our alumni become successful professionals. According to the New York Times, CSU is in the top 10% of universities in the country for increasing the income of alumni over that of their parents.

Jackie Kardesh We had a fantastic time today photographing the Chicago State University Child Care Program for their graduation and pre-K class—and we’re still smiling from all the joy and pride we witnessed! This is a truly special program, housed in a state-of-the-art facility with a brand-new wing dedicated to infants and toddlers opening soon. The center is thoughtfully designed, beautifully maintained, and built to support early learners at every stage. The team at CSU is exceptional—warm, professional, and deeply committed to the children and families they serve. You can feel the love and care in every interaction, and it was an honor to help capture such meaningful moments. —Lil’ Angels Photography Chicago

Judge Scot With all the reviews and all the history of being a very poor hbcu, why would anyone go here? Tons of city colleges are way better than tons of universities just as easy to get into as here but better run and reputation. Why would anyone go here? Look at their endowment...that alone tells you its a horrible school with disconnect alumni...

Spacedrool The security guards were relentlessly compiling nonsense. If you ever walk in to the school, you would know they don’t keep their priorities straight. The system is very slow, fragile, and inattentive. They should’ve got multiple teacher in assist, rather than one not showing up. Very disengaged and irresponsible.

Prompt Property Solutions Casey Tormoen Education Department failed my sons class causing him to delay his graduation 6 months and adding $12,000 to his education costs because his observation teacher turned in his report 5 hours after the class deadline. My sons a 3.5 GPA and very conscientious student. NO ONE to go to for assistance in making more sense of this action. NO ONE overseeing the professors making these outrageous decisions. The President refused to offer input. TERRIBLE Education Department. BEWARE of the this school where professors have absolutely NO accountability!

Grace Sytsema If I could give them a zero I would. DePaul cares more about money than they do about the well-being of their students. This is an overpriced institution that does everything to charge for small fees or exaggerate pricing. I’m a junior now and would transfer if I wasn’t so far in. Don’t go here

Asia Hamlin i wish i transferred out of this place when i had a chance to, 3 tuition raises in 3 full years i’ve gone here, and probably another coming this year if the pattern continues. tried to double charge me on a semester thinking i wouldn’t notice which is hilarious. this place is a joke and scam. they keep changing the curriculum, which messes with my graduation plan so nobody is even certain when i can truly graduate. they keep saying i need an extra semester each time i talk to a counselor and try to figure it out. also blatantly lied to me multiple times whenever i ask questions regarding classes, credits, accommodations, etc.: the answer always changes no matter who i ask. so confusing and definitely don’t recommend if you’re a first gen college student/don’t have anyone who’s been through this process before like myself. i was dreaming of this school since i was in grade school and i feel like my dreams were crushed!!
