Abigail I went to get a haircut with layers. I have extremely long hair. I told her only a couple inches off. I could tell her and the other stylist were judging how my hair looked......She started cutting my hair and she took off about 6 inches lost most of the length in my hair. She even said dont you want to leave it long before we started. I told her yes and she agreed,but nope. Also it has no layers. My mom went to beauty school and when I got home she said where are the layers.

Becky Falzone Came here for the first time today! Me and my daughter both got a cut and style. We are VERY happy with them! Definitely will be back!

AnnDee Johnson Ive been going to Cam at Citrine for a few months and she is wonderful! She absolutely kills it with my hair and nails. The shop is super clean and trendy. Cam has gone out of her way to help make appointments for me and my mom and grandma at the same time, and everyone weve interacted with is great.

Lisa Johnson I just had a wonderful pedicure by Karla! I had a hip replacement 6 weeks ago and my feet needed help. Karla was awesome. The atmosphere was very soothing, very clean and relaxing.... Worth every cent and I will be going back!! Love that it is in our little town of Cherry Valley!!

Debbie Kniep Karla did an amazing job on my manicure! Very professional beautiful peaceful setting in the heart of Cherry Valley. She was meticulous and explained the process and how it is gentle on my natural nails. I left feeling pampered and my nails looked amazing! I will definitely be back!

Ellevenn 01 My mom recommended this place to me since she’d been going there for years. I’ve been to many salons but there’s nowhere I trust more than this place! Jay does an amazing job with my nails every time, but I’ve tried almost every nail tech here and they’re all awesome too! I will never stop recommending this place to my friends. They tend to be busy on the weekends and you might have to wait a while but I promise it’s worth it!

Tiffany Walton Alie always have my nails on point, she is the best very friendly. And she can design any type of nail.

Dahlia Poe My experience here is beyond expectations. The staffs here are friendly and professional. Kelly is my nail tech and the owner of Foxy Nails, she managed to squeeze me in during her busy schedule and take her time making sure I like the shapes & colors of my nail. She did an amazing job and I am very please with how they turn out. This will be my go to salon from now on.

Athena Paulsen-Vollmann I have been coming here for a few years now and have NEVER had an issue. This time unfortunately, I brought my 17 year old daughter with me and we both got full sets...... The guy is my favorite and is the one I usually request to do my nails. I dont know what the issue was this day BUT he had a nasty attitude towards me, was short tempered, rolled his eyes a lot at me and Even raised his voice to me when I didnt understand what he was asking me because of his accent being so heavy. I apologized and felt bad that I didnt understand and still was polite to him because maybe he was just having a bad day right? Well he was rough and kept burning my skin and my nail beds while he was using the electric filler I told him repeatedly that he was hurting me and kept saying, "ow" but he continued anyways completely acting like he didnt even hear me when I know he did. They charged me an arm and a leg for my daughters full set ($78 plus tip) when she didnt even get anything TOO fancy.... Mine were only $45!! Makes no sense to me. So after paying, and STILL tipping $5 a piece to each tech I left unhappy and irritated and very disappointed in the overall experience this time. The VERY NEXT day I woke up with a VERY LARGE blister on the left side of my ring finger!!! Yup .....he burned me so badly with that electric file that it turned into a blister that caused me to be in SO much pain over the next week I couldnt Even touch my finger!!! I ended up having to bust it open because I couldnt stand the pain anymore only to see yellow puss literally pour out of my finger/blister!!!! I was sickened and disgusted and in shock! This has NEVER happened there!!! Ended up costing me a trip to my Dr and antibiotics over a simple girls nail day!!!!! Smh. They have gone WAY down hill since the last time I went there and its definitely NOT worth the $138 I paid just to get an infected finger!!!! They need to go back to how they used to treat their customers when I looked forward to my nail days with them! Needless to say.....lll never go back again!!! If I could give -5 stars I would!!! Shame on yall!!!!

La Kyles Idk what happened to this place. I’m consistently telling the lady I feel a hang nail. While she saying she doesn’t see it. It’s not a hang nail but my nail is pushing into my skin causing it to hurt. The lady that did my eyebrows left wax all on my face and lied about cleaning it. I definitely won’t be back. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt

Sidney Sims Nancy and Tara were very friendly and attentive to detail. Tara made sure to double check that I liked how the color looked, and the manicure itself was very comfortable when I’m used to them stinging. As someone who rarely gets their nails done, their work has convinced me to make it a more regular treat.

Lauren Used to go here all the time. But I went in looking for something other than just polish. I wanted a no-chip with a design for my wedding so I went in for a trial. THIS disaster was the result. Ugh it makes me cringe just looking at how bad this was. Was no where near what I wanted.

Lynn Lower Nails for You is the only nail salon I use. They are a wonderful group of people always going above and beyond to make sure you leave with the most beautiful nail designs! Fantastic pedicures as well. With spring right around the corner be sure to use this nail salon. Love this place !

Ashley Lynn I wanted to visit this location a few times before I gave an official review . . I have been to this location 3 times since nov 2024 and have been pretty happy with the services . I’d like to take a moment to brag on one of their employees , Angel . Not only does she have such a sweet and genuine personality which is what made me return a second and third time , but the care and attention to detail she has in her work is so admirable. This girl is newer to the field , but she takes her time and really perfects her work to ensure the clients happiness. Not only did she check in several times to see if I was happy with the work , she listened to my concerns and followed through to get me exactly what I wanted . This young lady is incredibly talented and I am so excited to see her growth ! Please give her a shot if you are looking for a tech that cares about your happiness . Today she set me up for an upcoming wedding . The nails are some of the best I’ve had done . The lighting really doesn’t do these nails justice . They are gorgeous! Thank you angel ❤️

Amanda Ennis I was able to get in promptly while on a trip back home from Chicago. I am originally from Philadelphia but had never been to Lavish Nail. I wanted some specific nail art and they did a great job. Something positive for me is that it didnt take that long to do a manicure gel fill with design. They may be slightly off the beaten path from downtown, but well within the city and definitely worth it!

Deena Hergert I have been going here for an acrylic overlay manicure for the past 3 years or so, and I get a pedicure about once a month. There has been a change in management and staff over the last year or 18 months, which has brought improvements. The staff is friendly and skilled, and I know from hearing them take calls for appointments that there are many loyal customers that come regularly and make appointments with particular staff members. My nail technician (Jany) does great work, is super-friendly and fun to talk to, and often comes up with fun designs for my nails. I am always satisfied with the service I receive there and intend to keep coming back. Prices are reasonable. I spend about $35-40 per manicure and the same for a basic pedicure.

Jenny Chavez Was having a horrible day after the hair salon botched my should-have-been-easy color job. This place turned it right around. Very friendly and attentive staff, was immediately welcomed. Got pedicure going and had foil placed on fingers to immediately start dissolving the gel polish for the manicure following. Awesome nail artist, very creative and happy to accommodate.

Kathryn sobieck I have been going here for 6 months now and I love them. I only have either lulu or Kim as my stylist and they both are very nice and do a great job. Everyone there is super friendly. They work hard at keeping everything clean and the customers happy. I highly recommend them for your nail needs or eyebrow waxing.

Kalee Williams The lady who did my nails acted as if she was in a rush and there were no other customers waiting. She was entirely too rough. Kept bending and yanking my hands and almost broke my finger bending it so hard. Very sloppy work. Then was upset that I did not tip her. Polish is all over ran on my cuticles and around top of nails and nails were filed crooked. I’ve been here many times before me and my daughter but will never return

Monifia Tingling This place used to be top 3 in my list but today that changed , I went for a refill did not like .the lady was rough with my hand keep telling me to relax my finger when they were ,and kept pulling my hand/fingers. This messed my whole week up now cause the lady did not polish my nails properly , I like my nails done perfect . She rushed my pinky finger and others . She redid my middle and put a nail on that was way too big , I also wanted my nails cut short but her clippers were of no use but she did not think to go to the next work station for nail clip or what they use to cut nails short .Never going back here. Last pic is an update 3 days later the middle nail folded

Ariel Roberts Tiffany and Win are my favorites! They actually take their time with your nails and do such a great job. I always get compliments on my nails. The wait is defiantly worth it!

Nakita Benjamin Tiffany and Wen are so wonderful. They do an amazing job for their regulars who dont mind the wait (well worth it). And hands down, one of the cleanest public places in the Rockford area. I will be a patron for as long as I live in the area

Christine Stowe Theres a wait of an HR or 2 but its well worth it. They do an excellent job. Theyre very friendly. They do just about any color and design imaginable you can come up with. Ive been going there for almost a year and wont go any where else to get my nails done.

Nada Statdfield-Vujicic Very friendly , clean , knowledgeable staff. Prices lower than anywhere else, that i know . It was pleasant and relaxing . THey did a great job even though i am old fashion & my fingers and nails are handicap, but they made it pretty.

Elie Shiro Starting coming here in september 2022 after many bad experiences at other shops in the area. They have always done an amazing job. The gel manicures last forever, and look so good!

Nyalise Parker I waited about a good hour, the lady in front me getting her toes done, she took long. When it was my turn, the lady didn’t massage my legs. She only shaped my toes, and put lotion on legs. After she was done painting, the toes looked good from a distant but when I took better look she didn’t clean up the polish right. I wish she could’ve done a better job, I don’t recommend this place, only 2 workers there, and barley customers.

ashley baker selby So Ive been here twice.. prices are great.. they dont do designs theyll do basic sets for 40.. and fills for 30 with the way the world is right now this is a deal. The staff are always so friendly and polite.. Im rating 4 because I feel like the whole experience is rushed.. theres so many walk ins as they dont do appointments so sometimes my nails do come out sloppy.. however for the price you cant beat it.

Ashley Winterland Absolutely one of the best no chip full set Ive had. Tena was so nice and was very genuine and wanted to make sure my nails were just how I wanted them.
