5 /5 Ashley Lynn: I wanted to visit this location a few times before I gave an official review . . I have been to this location 3 times since nov 2024 and have been pretty happy with the services . I’d like to take a moment to brag on one of their employees , Angel . Not only does she have such a sweet and genuine personality which is what made me return a second and third time , but the care and attention to detail she has in her work is so admirable. This girl is newer to the field , but she takes her time and really perfects her work to ensure the clients happiness. Not only did she check in several times to see if I was happy with the work , she listened to my concerns and followed through to get me exactly what I wanted . This young lady is incredibly talented and I am so excited to see her growth ! Please give her a shot if you are looking for a tech that cares about your happiness . Today she set me up for an upcoming wedding . The nails are some of the best I’ve had done . The lighting really doesn’t do these nails justice . They are gorgeous! Thank you angel ❤️

5 /5 Amanda Ennis: I was able to get in promptly while on a trip back home from Chicago. I am originally from Philadelphia but had never been to Lavish Nail. I wanted some specific nail art and they did a great job. Something positive for me is that it didnt take that long to do a manicure gel fill with design. They may be slightly off the beaten path from downtown, but well within the city and definitely worth it!

Due to Mothers Day they were extremely busy but stayed attentive to all customers to help ease the wait! Their Facebook special made it extra lovely for the 4 services we received. THANK YOU!!! ❤️ Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We found our new hidden gem!

5 /5 Dawn Gilbertson: This is by far, the best place to get your nails done. Not only do they do an AMAZING JOB, they care about all of their clients. Here’s my breakdown…. The shop, is impeccably clean, and everyone washes their hand before the service. I have had the pleasure of having Emma as my nail tech. Not only is she easy to look at ( love you boo), she is hysterical. I really look forward to my appointments, and always leave feeling recharged. The pedicures? AMAZING ALSO. Angel does a fantastic job. So, if you’re on the fence about where to go? Don’t be. Just book the appointment. You will not regret it!!!!

SP Nails - Rockford Athena Paulsen-Vollmann: I have been coming here for a few years now and have NEVER had an issue. This time unfortunately, I brought my 17 year old daughter with me and we both got full sets...... The guy is my favorite and is the one I usually request to do my nails. I dont know what the issue was this day BUT he had a nasty attitude towards me, was short tempered, rolled his eyes a lot at me and Even raised his voice to me when I didnt understand what he was asking me because of his accent being so heavy. I apologized and felt bad that I didnt understand and still was polite to him because maybe he was just having a bad day right? Well he was rough and kept burning my skin and my nail beds while he was using the electric filler I told him repeatedly that he was hurting me and kept saying, "ow" but he continued anyways completely acting like he didnt even hear me when I know he did. They charged me an arm and a leg for my daughters full set ($78 plus tip) when she didnt even get anything TOO fancy.... Mine were only $45!! Makes no sense to me. So after paying, and STILL tipping $5 a piece to each tech I left unhappy and irritated and very disappointed in the overall experience this time. The VERY NEXT day I woke up with a VERY LARGE blister on the left side of my ring finger!!! Yup .....he burned me so badly with that electric file that it turned into a blister that caused me to be in SO much pain over the next week I couldnt Even touch my finger!!! I ended up having to bust it open because I couldnt stand the pain anymore only to see yellow puss literally pour out of my finger/blister!!!! I was sickened and disgusted and in shock! This has NEVER happened there!!! Ended up costing me a trip to my Dr and antibiotics over a simple girls nail day!!!!! Smh. They have gone WAY down hill since the last time I went there and its definitely NOT worth the $138 I paid just to get an infected finger!!!! They need to go back to how they used to treat their customers when I looked forward to my nail days with them! Needless to say.....lll never go back again!!! If I could give -5 stars I would!!! Shame on yall!!!!

Indigo Beauty Boutique - Rockford Rocio Alfaro: Evangelina is one of the best nail artists I’ve ever been to. She’s accommodating and keeps in touch if something comes up. Her designs are 1000/10.

Foxy Nails - Loves Park Ellevenn 01: My mom recommended this place to me since she’d been going there for years. I’ve been to many salons but there’s nowhere I trust more than this place! Jay does an amazing job with my nails every time, but I’ve tried almost every nail tech here and they’re all awesome too! I will never stop recommending this place to my friends. They tend to be busy on the weekends and you might have to wait a while but I promise it’s worth it!

Citrine Creative Beauty Co. - Cherry Valley AnnDee Johnson: Ive been going to Cam at Citrine for a few months and she is wonderful! She absolutely kills it with my hair and nails. The shop is super clean and trendy. Cam has gone out of her way to help make appointments for me and my mom and grandma at the same time, and everyone weve interacted with is great.

Christina Rae Salon • Spa - Rockford carrin mcpherson: Would highly recommend Angela! She did a fantastic job on my hair, exactly what I was looking for and she was so easy to talk to! Love her!

Royal Nail Spa - Machesney Park Erin Drinkwine: This was our first visit, and we were really impressed. Very fancy massage chairs for the pedicures. Its nice and clean. They offered pop, water, wine, coffee. We did the deluxe pedicure, and it is worth it for the extra ten minute massage. It was not busy on a Saturday afternoon. We will definitely be back. Tam and Kelly did an amazing job.

Enhance Day Spa - Rockford Jeneta D: Saige at Enhance Day Spa is amazing! She really takes the time to listen to exactly what you want and makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire process. Really happy with my eyebrows- highly recommend!

Empress Beauty Lounge - Cherry Valley Moriah Terrell: Oh. Em. Gee. So much better than I expected. I’ve seen Yovi’s work on their IG and TikTok, so I knew it was going to be great. But Yovi is INCREDIBLE. They are very communicative, explain every part of the process, and they are more than happy to educate you if you’ve never had a certain service done before. Yovi made sure to check in with me the entire time, conversation flowed wonderfully, and the vibes were immaculate. I’ve never had GelX nails before, and these are amazing. Light, beautiful, and very comfortable. I gave them an idea of what I wanted, showed them some inspiration pics, and ended up with the cutest nails and most adorable froggie friends, Lenny & Stevie. I can’t wait to see what else we can come up with in the future.

Nails Design - Rockford Michelle Lund: Eyebrows were done horribly.My nails were so bad.They do not stand them down enough.They looked fake.I will never go there again
