Michael Fox I broke a tooth and needed to get it checked out ASAP. I called them and they saw me within 2 hours of my call. Checked me over, came up with a plan,( I need a crown), put a temporary filler in the broken out area, set up my date for starting the procedure and contacted my insurance to let me know what the repair was going to cost after insurance, and sent my on my way, feeling better than when I got there. Thank you for the quick, professional care. I really appreciate it!

Kimberly Riley I went to Freeport Dental last Saturday on an emergency basis when my tooth broke off. I was scheduled for surgery on the following Monday. I knew they probably wouldn’t do surgery with my broken tooth. I called and Dr. and staff all stayed late to assist me. They replaced my tooth with a crown. Dr.was very good, reassuring and efficient. Would highly recommend!!

Dave Morse Had a great first visit and both the hygienist and dentist were very friendly. The facility is modern and large and I felt very welcome there. The prices are reasonable and they have a yearly plan that is a great option. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a local dentist.

It would be worth the drive to come here from Rock falls IL. Dr Patel kept asking me during the procedure if I was ok. It shows he really cares about his patients. Joseph H. AVOID ASPEN DENTAL IN FREEPORT. I walked in there after driving 40 miles (80 miles round trip) for an infected tooth that was leaking pus so bad it made my tongue numb. This place has ZERO understanding THAT NOT EVERYONE HAS INSURANCE. I was willing to sign whatever TO SIMPLY GET THE INFECTED BROKEN TOOTH EXTRACTED. My budget was no more than $500. I couldnt get any relief or understanding from these people. The dentist told the office girl to "give him a referral" while she literally ALMOST RAN AWAY. This was after all the x-rays and consultation. I explained three times to two different people that I am self-pay and dont have a lot of money. They ignored what I said. A referral to an oral surgeon? Talk about passing the buck. Dear lady dentist: you completely screwed up when you had an opportunity to display empathy and humanity. Ya blew it. I wasnt asking for anything for free. You simply refused to address the immediate health issue while presenting me WITH A $4,000 QUOTE FOR MONEY I WILL NEVER HAVE FOR SERVICES THAT DONT ADDRESS THE ISSUE AT HAND: A BROKEN, INFECTED TOOTH IN MY HEAD. I have had sepsis, am diabetic, and have heart disease. Having mouth and jaw infections isnt a good thing.

Georgia Ward Dr. Abrar Ghazal, is absolutely amazing. Lets you know exactly what shed like to do for you and discusss it with you so you can set up a plan. She also has you check with your insurance company so you know exactly what your insurance will cover for you and what your cost is. Shes compassionate and is truly there for you to have a good experience. Looking forward to continue with the care plan weve got set up. Would highly recommend her for your doctor (denist).GW

Erica Meinert From the first appointment to the last, I regret not going somewhere else. I had to have a root canal done which meant two appointments. Believe your patients when they say they are not numb. I told you I could feel pain three times. Then at the end of the first appointment, you have the audacity to still question whether or not I could feel pain. Let’s see, before you gave me the last shot I was crying and shaking uncontrollably. Then afterwards, I sat there and did not flinch. I’d say I felt it. The second appointment was a bit better as you had records of what you used. However the tantrum at the end was not necessary. Stomping your feet and throwing your fists down because you could not get the apparatus in my small mouth to take a picture was very childish. Did you tell me what you needed from me, or what you were trying to do? I bet you got the picture after I asked what you were trying to accomplish. I would not recommend this office if you have any abnormalities… I have a small mouth which makes dentistry work difficult and frustrating for sure. I apparently also have odd anatomy since the anesthesia was not working as it should for others. That is the only positive thing I have gained from this experience. I will be sure to inform further dentists of these findings.

Andrew Shipley When other dentists cant handle a situation in Freeport they send you to him so you should just go to him. He pulls teeth and is great at it. Fair pricing. I had all my teeth pulled by him. If you have anxiety hes very understanding and will take measures to reduce stress.

jessica bertucci Not disabled friendly.. the doors are heavy, the people behind the counter will watch you struggle while pulling your disabled client threw the door. Seeing my client was disabled, they came out of the back and expected her to push herself back, so I took over.. then when I was transferring my client to the dentist chair, the nurse assistant stood there as if I was taking to long to transfer my client.. just because the dentist is good.. doesnt mean his help is. And if u treat disabled people like this, its a wonder why his place is empty.

Cathy Hale I was able to get a pap test and mammogram through the Well Women Program! The ladies that helped me from the health department were very nice and answered any questions I had and made sure I knew exactly what I needed to do! This is a great program for women without insurance who cant pay for these very important tests! Thank you!

My son was 3 when we took him there, he was being a kid as the dentist proceeded to yell at him, constantly give us attitude and roll his eyes when he wouldnt listen. Even though the name says FAMILY, its not a family environment. Worst experience. Beware .

Brandon Hudler I used to hate going to the dentist. I just assumed it was always painful even after your numb. Apparently I just had bad dentists because here I have never felt a thing. Dr. Reedy gives you a shot or two or however many you need to not feel a thing and gives you plenty of time for it to kick in. I had problems with my previous dentists work and fillings would just fall out. I havent had a single problem here. Very good dentist and all the employees are great also.
