Douglas Merchant My most recent visit was for my semi-annual cleaning. Rachel has been my dental hygienist for many years and does a terrific job. She is very friendly and professional. Dr. Link and his staff have provided me the best dental care and I heartily recommend EDG!

Meghan Wendt It was my 5 year old daughters first visit to the dentist, we had been practicing our food brushing and reassuring her that it was not going to hurt. We get to the office and go to the k in and the polite lady at the front desk said oh ok sorry your appointment is next Monday. Ugh I’m such a goober I didn’t look at the text message correctly. Before I can even apologize she said we just had a cancellation at 8:00 let me put your daughter in that spot! I was so thankful, and all the staff were very friendly and very patient with my daughter and her first visit! So glad I switched to this Dental Office!!!

Ashley Most of the work they do is great. They are great with children. However I just paid $3,000 for partials have had them for 3 weeks got them adjusted and she told me if I have issues come in any day during our business hours and they would get me in. I showed up April 25th on a Friday at 11:10AM and I was turned away because they paid for training day for invisalin. I paid for my partials they hurt and they want me two wait another 3days maybe longer because its a two hour round trip. Crazy it wouldve taken 5 minutes to adjust them. They had no prior warning they would be doing training, in my open they shouldve given notice and closed.

Jayson Graves They are professionals here. I have never had issue and I have been here a few times. They work with you on billing and are knowledgeable about all things teeth. Go here for all your dental needs. Highly recommend this group of dental specialists.

Laura Westenhaver This is the worst place I have ever dealt with in my life. They don’t bill things correctly and I have been trying to resolve it for 6 months and all I get is voicemail and no return calls. My insurance would’ve paid 100% for a wellness visit but their incompetent staff screwed that up. And now I’m stuck with their bill and a lab bill from another company. I was well when I went there. There was no reason to order labs EXCEPT for a wellness exam. Unless they do this to all their new patients. If I was dying and this was the only place I could go, I would rather die

Loosely wrapped my knee in an ace bandage. Released me and told me to walk the 2 miles back to my hotel. Guess they didnt want to deal with my insurance since I was from out of town. Im in shorts, a t-shirt and sandals. No crutches. No brace for my knee. No offer to get me someplace safely.

Dianna Nicol 5 stars across the board! Dr Swanson is the very best! Dr Swanson and his nurse are very experienced and know how to get the job done. I had a partial bone extraction with one wisdom tooth and the two others were normal surgical extractions. He came in, lightly joked, made sure i was numb, and did what i needed him to do. He got those wisdom teeth out! The nurse made sure i was very well educated on post care. Registration staff was polite and answered my questions. Highly recommend!

Grace Blakemore The front desk staff were so incredibly rude and incompetent that I didnt even make it to see the doctor. I had my referral sent to Dr Fonner and I’d recommend anyone else to do the same, he’s been great to work with in the past. Must be why the wait to see him is so much longer.

john hobler Ive had all 4 wisdom teeth out over 1 to 1.5 years. People on here say hes rude with no bedside manner. He made me laugh every visit. Took no longer than an hr from walking in the building to walking out to my ride. Each time, including when he took two out at once it didnt take him more than entire song on the radio to finish. He gets in gets the job done and moves on. He had rooms full and 5 People in his lobby when I got here at 10 and by 11 he had an empty lobby and half his rooms full. You want someone to get ur teeth out fast and done right hes the right choice. Hes one of, if not only, facial surgeon around effingham. U want someone to be nice and hold ur hand go elsewhere want someone to get the job done and have u home within an hr? Come here.

FrozenIce Heart Never go here! They use fear tactics to talk you into things you do not need. Then when they make a mistake they refuse to correct it or even admit the error. The worst, and most expensive dental experience of my life. Put me in pain for over 2 years and would not hold the dentist responsible for the gross multiple errors. They even wrote me a prescription to medicine I was allergic too! If I didnt know any better I would think they were trying to kill me! Incompetent air heads who would rather chat about their weekend plans then give their patients the attention and care they are paying for. Do not go here ever. Profit over people 100% I should have sued them for dental malpractice! I still might.

Jonathan Post My "local" dentist is "affiliated" with them. They have owed me money for months because Heartland has to approve my refund and they take their dear sweet time enjoying what amounts to an forced interest free loan to them at this point.

Our teens both have commented on how friendly everyone is at Schumacher Orthodontics! Grateful for Dr. Schumacher’s knowledge and expertise with my son’s difficult bite and jaw issues. Highly recommend!

eva marsland The tech’s are always super nice and check up on you to make sure your okay during procedures. Schumacher always remembers his clients which is cool because there’s a lot. The inside is also really well decorated especially for holidays. Barely any wait times which is good. The whole coin for rewards thing is a great idea, encourages healthy hygiene habits and shows how they go out of their way to care for their clients

Alisha Legg Dr. Schumacher and staff were great with my daughter. I drove an hour to take my daughter to them, and I would do it all over again. The experience was great, the atmosphere is kid friendly, and they treat you great. Highly recommend

Kort McClellan Dentist and hygienist do great work and are easy to get along with but the secretaries gossip about clients and are rude. If that isn’t an issue for you, I would highly recommend Dr. Stevensons services as he’s excellent at his craft.

S. Baker My daughter enjoyed the dentist. He seemed very good at keeping children calm and unaware of the needles when needed. However, I had more than one instance with rude staff. I also had trouble with scheduling, such as being scheduled for cleaning instead of dental work and booked months out but wouldnt schedule following an appointment. This week when I called to schedule, it took calling multiple times before someone answered and they said they no longer accept medicaid for children.

LAILA I had 4 wisdom teeth removed here 2 years ago. Prior to the surgery I informed Dr of my history with medication that would require a deeper dose of anesthesia to work on me. He didn’t listen because I woke up during the procedure. More than that, there was very little communication and I’ve had lasting jaw pain since. Before choosing this place, consider if it’s worth a future of chronic jaw pain.

Steven Matzker Had a lot of issues with this place. Starts with being lied to about a couple different things leading up to my first appointment. There was also a lack of communication. I wasnt told anything. Nothing was explained, I was treated as if I already knew everything. He was also very unprofessional. His attitude towards my reactions of pain like it was annoying him. Appointment ended only being half done with my teeth removal. I was never told I would have to pay a second time for the second appointment since I already paid. Months before I could get back in to finish it up. My scheduled time wasnt reserved for me despite being told I had until the end of the week to let them know if I could make it. Ive been slurring my words ever since the last appointment so I dont know if something went wrong or what. Avoid this place. Oh but I barely had any pain after both appointments so uh, 1.1/5 Stars.

Robby Sams Despite seeing several negative review for Dr. Fonners office, I had a great experience. Upon entering the building, the facilities were pleasing to the eye, and the staff at the front desk was warm and welcoming to me. They sent out a packet to me prior and followed up days before with any questions I may have. They got me in earlier than expected, so that was great. While in the chair, I spoke with the Dr. Fonner, and his assistants were helpful. Procedure was relatively painless, and the day after, they followed up via phone to check on me. I called back with on the second day with some questions, which were answered promptly. All in all, a great experience. Thanks, Dr. Fonner and Staff!

Pete Staff was friendly. My hygienist was gentle and quick. My dentist filled my cavity with ease. I had a deep cleaning done over several visits and each time went smoothly with little discomfort. They also have video games for kids while waiting.

Industrial Martial Arts I was blown away with the customer service at this dental office. Everyone that walked in was greeted like an old friend and the staff seemed genuinely happy to see everyone. This office is beautiful and well laid out and the doctors are kind, accommodating, and work with all needs.

We have a son with special needs, and they have gone above and beyond to make his experience as comfortable as possible. Their staff and dentists are very friendly and they try to take the anxiety of going to the dentist!

Sandi Cantwell Dr. Campos is a perfectionist so you will receive the best service possible. He doesnt do work that isnt necessary, and explains everything in detail. Not only is he a great Dentist, but such a great guy. Dr. Campos also has a staff that is friendly, caring, and professional. Going to the Dentist is stressful, but you will be able to feel confident that you will be pain free and do not have to dread going to a dentist in his care.

When you make an appointment for a set time ....you get right in and out....they value your time , while giving you the best possible care. He knows how to put them at ease, while giving them exceptional care. He is very professional and makes you his #1 priority.

Dr. Willenborg always has a pleasant bedside manner. He takes the time to sit down and thoroughly discuss the needs of his patients. The staff is always friendly, the office setting is very nice and the appointment wait time is short.

Mark Worman Would highly recommend Steve. His office is always on time and gets you in and out. I have gone to him for years for cleaning and maintenance and several large procedures. They were crowns on my front teeth and they matched perfectly, which I cant say about my prior crowns. It is amazing how much better my smile looks. Great with kids.

My children have been going to Dr Horin since they were around 3 and LOVE going to the dentist! Cecelia is AMAZING with my kids! They are a wonderful staff and know us by name when we walk into the office :) Family business that is family friendly! I have been very unlucky with my teeth in that I had an skating accident 4 years ago and Dr Horin has helped me every step if the way...after multiple bone grafts and surgeries to my front tooth Dr Horin (which when all said and done took about 3.5 years) placed the crown on my implant...I almost started to cry in the office....I finally had my front tooth again thanks to Dr Horin! If looking for a dentist I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office :)

The receptionist was so patient and helpful to me. The dental hygienist was very through with my cleaning and put up with my chattering a lot. Mad (ItsYaGurl) Best dentist in Springfield. Dr Jensen knows his stuff and does a phenomenal job, however his staff doesn’t listen when you give them direct instructions on billing insurance. Ended up with a bill and was told they would send it to collections. In my opinion, they should give you more time to work out insurance issues than 60 days after the date of treatment. It’s an awful policy especially if they require 50% of payment before procedure is done. It should be 60 days after disapproval of insurance. Policy should be flexible not enforced on people with special cases.

Nancy Nelson Never been to a dentist before that makes you pay a week before surgery, so he can pay the anesthesiologist. I ended up w/a fever & infection. Called his office, he is on vacation, so no help given.

Greg Dr Shumaker is a highly qualified and skilled orthodontist that my kids will definitely see for their orthodontic needs. He is kind, caring, compassionate and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.

Jenna Sheehan My daughter started at around age 7 (2and grade) and is now in the 7th grade. She has been undergoing a multi-step process in order to get her teeth straight. Dr. Schumacher has explained everything very well and genuinely cares about all his patients. His staff is just as wonderful and always great you with a smile.
