5 /5 Martin B: Heartland Family Dental Care goes out of their way to make you feel at home. The knowledge of the staff is incredible. Very thorough in every way during my visit. Being honest I havent been to a dentist in a long while. I definitely wont be missing any appointments from now on. I highly recommend Heartland Family Dental Care. My experience was definitely very positive and they now have me as a returning customer. ☺️

3 /5 Ashley: Most of the work they do is great. They are great with children. However I just paid $3,000 for partials have had them for 3 weeks got them adjusted and she told me if I have issues come in any day during our business hours and they would get me in. I showed up April 25th on a Friday at 11:10AM and I was turned away because they paid for training day for invisalin. I paid for my partials they hurt and they want me two wait another 3days maybe longer because its a two hour round trip. Crazy it wouldve taken 5 minutes to adjust them. They had no prior warning they would be doing training, in my open they shouldve given notice and closed.

I read all the positive reviews and thought this would be a good office but nothing could be farther from the truth so I’ll leave my review of my experience with my child today if your considering taking your child here please do not and do not allow your child to be in the room alone if you do make the mistake of taking them here. My 10 year old daughter had an appointment today we arrived and was taken back she had a couple fillings that need done one on top one on bottom they numbed her and got started on the top tooth completed that and said they were going to give her a break for a few minutes and would be back I kinda thought this was odd because the last time they didn’t do this and it was the same thing on the opposite side of the mouth. The doctor left the room and DID NOT return for 45 minutes the dental assistant even asked over the headset that they wear if anyone had seen Dr she couldn’t find her. She eventually comes back and starts drilling on the bottom tooth did not test before hand to see if the child she numbed over an hour ago was still numb. I hear the dentist say why are you crying? Can you feel that? I look in to see my daughter sobbing and trying to catch her breath now I would think this would be the time to get her numb again rather than sit and talk to her about how she should let you know if it hurts after about 5 minutes of her education lesson she numbs her again and I’m able to get my child calmed down as they leave the room for another 25 minutes the assistant comes back in and this time they do their job right and test to see if she’s numb she’s not at this point they tell me that I’m going to have to bring her back another day because they have given her the max amount of medication and it’s now 4pm almost closing time for them. At this point I voice my frustration and ask the dentist if she would have done what she did to my child to her own child and her response was well you have to understand I have other patients to take care of. Well I get that but your avoiding the question and I repeated the same question to her at which point she said well no I wouldn’t I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry you feel that way and you can bring her back tomorrow and we will use the nitrous to help with her anxiety she’s now having and we won’t charge you for it. I said you not charging me for the nitrous doesn’t make what you did to my daughter okay and I’m no longer comfortable with you working on her I want her medical records and we will be going somewhere else. They did fill the tooth with a temporary filling after I asked so your just going to leave her this way. I took my child to the front to get her records the dental assistant went over and talked to the office manager as they told me to come around the front to the other side they were whispering to each other. I asked who is over the office manager that I can speak with about what happened and was given a phone number to call which was a waste of time. However the office manager asked what happened and I told her she said there isn’t any notes in her chart let me go talk to the doctor she’s gone for a bit and comes back and said well the doctor said the reason they gave your child a 45 minute break was because she complained of pain on the top and I stated your doctor is a liar! My child did not complain about pain until they started the bottom tooth over an hour after they numbed her and after her 45 minute break. The doctors story doesn’t even make sense because if you gave her a break because she was in pain then why didn’t you numb her then why would you disappear for 45 minutes and then come back and still not numb her and start drilling again? Make that make sense? I will just about guarantee that they falsify her medical records to cover their own asses because they know what they did was wrong and you could tell from the beginning they were going to Cover for one another. My child will be seeing a new dentist tomorrow. Please take my advice do not go here!
