Chad Cargnino The Group Insurance Agency is hands down the best insurance Company in the Springfield area! In 2015 I had purchased a commercial building and my personal insurance company at the time did not insure commercial properties. I called a three reputable insurance companies to get pricing, and two had submitted very expensive rates while the third company didnt return my calls. I still was not satisfied, so I called The Group Insurance Agency. I left a message and Jason Dolby returned my call within 15 minutes. I told him about the commercial property and what I would require when I opened my doors for business. He met with me and tailored a policy that met my needs, and with considerable savings over the other agencies. He made suggestions to help me save money while optimizing coverage that would best suit my business. I was so pleased, I even moved my personal auto and home policies to The Group Insurance Agency. Since that time, I have referred friends and customers to The Group Insurance Agency as well. Three years later, I am still very happy with the service and premiums. Jason or one of his professional staff contacts me prior to renewal to ensure that I have the optimum coverage at an affordable price. I highly recommend them for all your insurance needs! Sarah Moore I came across The Group Insurance when shopping around for cheaper insurance. Jason Dolby and Katie Dragoo were able to find me a great insurance company with great rates- better than other places around Springfield and the Springfield area that I had run quotes. Even though they always answer the phone, Im a face-to-face type of person so I have dropped in the office unannounced a handful of times since becoming a customer to ask questions or seek guidance. Everyone in the office is always so nice and patient. One time I was so stressed out with life in general that after I asked the question, I sat there in a glazed daze and everyone treated me nicely and no one was annoyed by my lingering presence because they understand working very long days while in the process of buying a house. Katie even recognized me at a wedding reception (I did not recognize her) and made it a point to come up and say hello. When I recently had to change up my insurance plan, Katie ran numbers and found an insurance rate even cheaper than my current plan! I have been very impressed and recommend them to anyone asking for insurance recommendations. Seriously. Call them (you will get answered immediately). Do it.

Even though this is an error on Horace Manns part, I received a reimbursement of 1.00. This is an insult. To make matters even worse they took out another month of insurance. I dont know what to do. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails regarding my initial request to explore better rates, I have not received a single response. If you are earning a commission from my insurance payments, the least you could do is provide proper service and maintain decent communication with your clients. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I would not recommend this agent or the company to anyone looking for reliable service.

May Ray scrubbie galz I am looking for house insurance, but the thing is, I didnt like the fact that you didnt let a lady go to the bathroom. It was an emergency, and I dont like that. My mom is 82 years old, and when shes got to go, shes gotta go. That is actually against the law. You have to have a bathroom if you are in business. This is bull, so I dont know about this. I think you better look into it because when somebodys older and if something happens that there butter bust, because you wouldnt let them go to the bathroom, you will be reliable, I hope you know that or a kid, anybody that has a bathroom issue. You can be sued over that so if I was you, Id be careful with that. Ill have to think about getting insurance here on that note.

Kate OReilly Terrible customer service. I was trying to find insurance for a rental that I own and contacted them at the beginning of July. They asked for pictures and said it wouldnt be too long for them to get a quote to me. I sent the pictures and tried to be patient but I called in a couple times just checking on the status and then on July 15th the CSR ask me for my date of birth and said it would be very shortly that they would get back to me. I called back the following week and they kept telling me the agent would get back to me but they couldnt say when. So today the agent got back to me. He was unjustifiably rude, almost like he expected a fight so he was being defensive. Not to mention the quote was the highest that Ive gotten out of three. Customer service is important for a business and these people seem to be lacking in basic etiquette. They were at least kind about it I would not be leaving a review.

S Mayer Their "contact us" on their site is either broken or it doesnt get updated when people leave. I made two different inquiries that were not returned. When I called I didnt find them to be terribly motivated to seek out better rates on my behalf or to explain things to me. I sought out a change from annual to semi annual payment. First Mary told me there was a fee to do that, which the paperwork contradicted. Then when I sent her the paperwork saying as much, she got snippy with me. After repeatedly trying and failing to make the change online myself as directed, I bypassed unhelpful Mary all together and called the company directly. They confirmed that they had to make the change on their end. This seems like information Mary should have known since she does this everyday and I do it once a year. If their goal is customer frustration they succeeded.

They are trying to charge me $500 for a routine annual exam with my PCP who Ive had for years. Throw these sick fools in jail. Never ever go with Blue Cross if you have a choice. This company is so bankrupt that is sickening to me. Stay away. Stay away and never look back.
