Meredith Szymczak I have visited Emily for a facial there a few times and every experience I have had there was amazing. She is very knowledgeable in her field and took the time to educate me not only on what was going on with my skin at the beginning but through every step of the process during the facial and visits thereafter. With her advice, I was able to achieve exactly what I was looking for through facials once a month and products she recommended. Would highly recommend! I cant wait to come back in soon!

Bri Linden I had a facial done by Emily, and it was amazing! Emily took the time to study my skin and make sure the facial I wanted would be perfect for my skin! She explained throughly what she was doing and what products she was using on my face, and what they do to the skin. My visit was relaxing and I had an amazing time! I will be going back!

Elizabeth Bethran This salon and spa is a gem. From the moment I walked in I felt taken care of. Emily is their aesthetician, and she is so knowledgeable about different skin concerns. When speaking with Emily you can tell she is listening to you, and it is very clear that she cares deeply about the results of her clients as well as the trust you’re putting in her. The products she recommends are incredible, and her professionalism it’s hard to beat. You must go in and see Emily for any of your beauty needs! Cynthia Freed From the second you walk in and are greeted by Gordy (the shop mascot... sweetest little dog), you feel like family. All of the stylists are so friendly, there is usually a fun conversation going on within the whole shop, you feel like you are there to visit, not just get hair done. Amy is INCREDIBLE! I get complements on my hair all the time!!! I followed her from her last salon, and love the open fun atmosphere. If you are looking for a stuffy, pretentious atmosphere, this is NOT the place....

Jean Bicknell After years of floating around trying different stylists at another salon and leaving unhappy, in one appointment, Katie changed everything. She enabled me to like my hair again. She is an amazing listener, then uses her own creativity and skill to get you what you want, and has a vision of more. My hair is now healthy and easy to style on my own, which is a sign of a great cut. So happy I found her!

Stephanie Yankle It is very refreshing each time I enter this salon. Everyone is so polite, happy and very welcoming! I only go for massages, and AJ is the best around! She is very professional, listens to your concerns and I always leave feeling like a million dollars! You can tell she generally cares about her clients and their concerns/needs.

Kellie Dyslin I came in for a trim and color and Angie did a beautiful job as usual. The experience at Katrina is always top notch, from the reception team to the service. I feel pampered and am always happy with the outcome.

Lily Velasco I went cause my little sister likes coming here and she said it’s very affordable (under $55) for acrylics. I went and they charged me $75. The designs my sister gets are more eccentric than I usually do. I went two hours before they closed and I felt very rushed. Not to be nit picky but the design felt so rushed it was crooked/ centered in the middle. I was there for an hour. Maybe it was just an off day but I don’t think I’ll be returning. Very nice though but I just didn’t like the work. Not terrible by any means but not what I was expecting/ looking for.

Stephanie First time trying this place because they have good reviews but unfortunately my nails came out lumpy. The man who did them was very fast and service was cheap but the quality was lacking. I will not be returning. ⭐⭐ Update: One of my nails broke very short (first time my nails have broken in the last 3 years getting them done) so I came back in to and had to cut them all down to match. John did a very thorough job making sure they came out nice and they feel much better this time. New photos (purple) at the end. I will come back again next month and evaluate again. Updated star rating from 2 to 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Veysel Pektas Such an amazing experience! The salon is very clean and modern. The staff is extremely professional, friendly, and skilled at what they do. The manicure and pedicure services were incredibly detailed and done with great care. The nail designs turned out exactly as I wanted. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to everyone .

Kassandra Monroe My teenage daughter went here to get her nails done for a halloween costume. She told the lady she wanted a fire design on her nails and wanted to keep them short for volleyball. The lady told her it wasn’t possible to keep them short because they’re acrylics and that the fire design was “outdated and so two years ago”. The final nails were completely crooked, chipping & twice as long as they should have been. She charged her $60 for nails we’ll have to cut off. Spend your money elsewhere.

Erin OCallaghan Tina helped me out with a full set last week & it was my first visit. She was very sweet, did a wonderful job & took her time to make it perfect, & she also helped me decide whether I wanted dip or no chip nails. Will definitely be going back to Donna’s!

Jayme David This nail spa was amazing! I was there with my daughters - 1 of them was being incredibly difficult, she has autism and it was her first experience with a pedicure. The staff was absolutely incredible, understanding and beyond patient. Their kindness was very seen. Of course the work they did was great as well!

Abbey King Love bare all! Tiffany is my girllll, she has been doing my eyelashes for almost three years now and I mean it when I say I have never had a less than amazing experience. Not only is the quality of her work is consistently top tier (I always leave feeling like a new woman), but her personality and welcoming energy always makes my appointments something to look forward to. I could go on forever about my appreciation for this place and Tiff!

Sandy A. Veronica is great, they have you fill a form for first time clients so she gets to try to know your skin type. She makes you feel comfortable, I was very nervous but she made conversation and honestly the entire experience was great and fast we were done in 15 minutes. Super clean place, great pricing for the service. Will definitely be coming back.

Samantha Bucki Veronica is the best. Treats me with the most respect and is generally an awesome women! She does a great job. I will literally not go anywhere else. She uses 3-4 different waxes and she really knows what shes doing. She makes the time go by, by keeping a conversation. She is amazing go see her!

Rico Veronica is very professional, friendly and caring. You never feel any discomfort, she is extremely fast and thorough, makes sure you are 110% completely satisfied. Very smart and knowledgeable. She is an hour away from me, and I wouldnt go anywhere else for my waxing needs.

Tiffany Sebring My daughter and I had a nail day i wanna say firstly the owner did amazing on hers stunning but mine look like a toddler did with a sharpie it was a young girl who did mine and each set costs us 85 bucks ugh worth it if the owner works on ya but anyone else nope dont waste ur money

Sexy Murda Don’t waste your time or money. Owner had me waiting over an hour outside the salon in the cold with no vehicle, as my vehicle was borrowed I was dropped off at the appointment time he provided. First trip same thing. Made an appointment and still had to wait an hour to get in the chair. Last experience broke the camels back! I was coming every two weeks faithfully for fills and pedicures every 4 weeks. Yesterday marked 4 week appointment. Took my son and he got a great pedi. Had an appointment for my fill and pedi. Kevin was doing two females prior to my appointment time again that he made while i waited and sat in water and shriveled up. The old man did my feet and it was horrible service. He did not get skin off, forgot to clip one foot, was not scrubbing correctly, burned me 3 times with rotary file I kept screaming, was not at all careful. Did not remove my cuticles or clean under toenails. None of the typical services. Didn’t even get a leg massage or towel wrap! He did nothing! I asked him to get the skin off my feet, I wasn’t coming for a service i could do at home. He did same thing nothing was coming off and my heels had plenty of callous to remove. The mother got my son’s feet baby soft as she should and provided the full treatment. I got so frustrated i told him stop’ i am all set! I wanna pay and leave! Owner did nothing or said a word to rectify my experience! I paid for both services and left with nothing but i clipped toenails full of skin as i came. Never going back there again. Throwing someone in who is not a nail tech and can’t do the job to buy time is not okay. Save your money and the hassle. Theirs other good design techs around! Take the drive and get good service! Owner is used to be doing extravagant designs that do a big up charge. I wanted a more simple design this time and he questioned me is this what you want? Just this? Nothing else? I’m like yeah, why? He’s like just making sure it’s a simple design! I’m like yeah I’m sure that’s what I want. Almost upset and belittling the fact he doesn’t get that big pay from me this week. Money hungry! And i leave 26-30 tips! I mean come on! Where is the service and customer loyalty?! I’ll literally never return! No call or text to apologize—nothing!

Kristy Giesen I went to 3-D nails for the first time today. They did such an amazing job on my nails! I got the no chip manicure with a decoration and my nails look so cute. I also got a pedicure and it was one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had! Hot stones our part of their normal pedicure! Very clean establishment. Prices were good. I will definitely be back.

Katlyn Bauer Tiffani did a gorgeous job with my family/friends and I’s nails for my wedding! She had such a large selection of colors and was able to blend a few to give me the perfect look I wanted. My mom loved her so much she now goes to her regularly for her manicures. I would highly recommend her for events or your weekly mani!

Alyssa Peck Trang at #1 Nails on Prairie Street is so amazing. When she does my gel nail fills, they last for like close to a month still looking good. She takes her time and literally makes your nails look perfect. She is so sweet too! Ask her for the chrome colors because she is soo good at doing that!

Lyn Unfortunately first and last time. The Asian man with the hair dyed light brown hair was absolutely horrible. Went in for pedicure and full set. Looks like foot brush was used and didnt clean dry skin on my toes very well. He did a poor job shaping my fingernails so I asked if he could fix and he said my nails looked fine and refused! LOL!!! I thought he was kidding until he lost it. I had to ask his co-worker to fix and she did. She spent just as long fixing as if we had started on a fresh set! Bad attitude, very rude and Ill never go back. Sorry.

Kodie Cast My friend and I went in to get acrylics 2 days ago as my going away gift to her and for a wedding. She had a specific design planned out and reference pictures that her nail tech didnt follow at all. Used the wrong colors, one hand had French tips, the other didnt, and when she asked to add flowers to her left hand (after he added them to her right) he flat out told her no more. I wanted a basic nude colored set, which would have turned out a lot better had she used another coat of the nail polish, didnt cut open my cuticles and leave them looking terrible, and didnt leave such a gap that will make me have to get a fill a lot sooner. Overall, Im not impressed with this place and am disliking my nails the longer I have them. Id recommend elsewhere.

Lorna Prophater The lady who welcomed me was very nice, and I was able to walk in for an appointment. From afar they look decent just don’t look too closely. The technician spent 80% of her time video calling, calling or texting on her phone while doing my nails. The dip was so thin that you can see the scuff marks under the color, she filed a few pieces of skin off my finger and didn’t clip and cuticles and left rough areas all around my nails. I paid $45 and won’t be back.

Kim Savas I LOVE Lotus Nails! I’ve been a loyal customer for around 7 years and the nail techs are all so wonderful! They always do such quality work and if I ever have a problem they are so good about fixing it! Give them a try if you are in the area! They take such good care of you!! And the spa is so inviting and comfortable—and the pedicure lounge chairs are so relaxing - better than any other place I’ve been to!

Patricia Schwartz Technicians were great. Billing practices leave much to be desired though. I was charged $10 over the amounts listed in their pricing book before added fees. Pedicure was $5.00 over the price listed before fees. I got Gel X nails. It was not offered a size or shape, but was then charged for long nails and coffin shaping. ( I did not get my nails shaped at all. And I did not cut the ones they put on due to time constraints). Did not argue to avoid making mothers day awkward for my mother but we will not return because of this. Im happy to pay for services. Just dont offer to show your clientele your pricing if youre not going to honor those prices. But again, the Technicians were Amazing. Great work on their part. Our nails were beautiful.

Emily R. Was referred by a friend to Maria and look forward to seeing her every time! My hair can be difficult to cut at times but she never has a problem making sure it comes out perfect. Everyone there is so friendly, I love this salon.

Cheryl Whitten This Salon is the BEST of the BEST. Not only do each of the owners have unbelievable training and skills, but they are all so warm and welcoming. I have had service by them all....and each of them are a 10. I have had my coloring done by Melissa for years (I went to her when she was at Mario Tricoci and then followed her to this Salon) and I cant say enough great things about her and her work. If you are looking for a Salon where everyone treats you well, uses top notch products and takes great pride in their work.....this is the Salon for You!

Grace Bernal UPDATE Less than 24 hours after leaving this review, they called me and fixed my nails for me. I appreciate the customer service and will 100% be back! Mixed opinions here… My mom and I wanted to try a new place and came here for 2 pedicures. The inside was beautiful and clean and the staff were very friendly. We both did classic pedicures and were very pleased with the service. My paint job could’ve been a lot better. One of my nails was missing polish on half of it, which another tech kindly fixed for me. I didn’t notice it at first glance, but a few of my nails are not fully covered in polish. My tech didn’t get the polish to fully cover the nail, which isn’t super obvious far away, but definitely could’ve been better. In the photos, my finger nail shows where my toe nail starts- you can really see the gaps. I’m not sure if he just couldn’t quite see my nail bed or what, but I probably could’ve painted them better myself.

Pienkowski Alissa Kathrine was amazing! She did my wedding manicure and pedicure and was so detailed and helped me relax too! I’m so glad I came here and will be back! Edit: Kathrine did it again! Even prettier than the pictures I showed her!

Taryn McShane Absolutely love love love this place. I have been trying to find a salon I like for a while. This is my second time here and I’ve been so happy with both of my experiences. Everyone here is super nice and always accommodate. I have never felt more comfortable at a salon before. Another great thing is how good they are at doing designs, they never disappoint. Price is also very reasonable. I will be coming back for another fill!

Rebecca Horan I have previously posted about how amazing this salon was. Unfortunately, they have changed owners and it is nothing like before. I had a pedicure and dip done. The pedicure is okay, as long as you dont look too closely and the dip is horrible. I went back and asked them to fix it. They did, but it is barely any better. Ridges, indentations, etc...it just looks awful. I am not sure how a dip can look smudged, but it does..They are very nice people, they just arent very talented. I will not be back. The photos are AFTER they fixed it.

My technician was very patient as I asked for adjustments to my French tips (ie. shape and style). Sharing a photo of my finished French manicure! Jerry and Helen are the owners at Sola Salon in Geneva Commons and have been great to me! This is an awesome place to lease a studio to start your business.

The facility is state of the art, modern and inviting and each vendor has the ability to personalize their space which makes it so unique.
