Renée Royalty I used to come here all the time, they do an ok job but sometimes do what they want and not what u asked. I stopped coming when they used the wrong color, I had one picked out and she used something else, I tried to get her to fix it and she wanted to charge me $15 for her mistake!! I walked out and have been going to top nails ever since.

Shavonne White Always in a rush. Don’t take the time out to do a neat job. If you say anything about something missed, they start talking to each other in their native language. This makes me feel like they talking about me. I went twice and it was the same experience. Not going back.

Glammaof3 I used to love coming here because a certain lady would do my eyebrows, but when I went in today she told me 30 minutes and so I said okay Ill be back. I came back and she took off too much hair from both of my eyebrows and left sparse areas in them, so Ill find somebody new now after all these years!

Baby Smooth I came for a reshape and French tip. Polish ran into the cuticles, was blotchy I informed the nail tech what I notice however she did nothing about it. The nail tech here either lacks the expertise and or passion to do neat work. I gave her a inspiration picture and this is what I got.

no no wanted a polish change and this is what i got. went back into the store twice asking for them to fix it and when they did it was still just as bad. i feel like i could have done it better myself.

Lizeth Favela 1st time here, my daughter and I had no chip pedi appointments today. The salon was clean and the massage chairs were comfy and they worked. Definitely coming back!

heather roush Worst place I have ever got a manicure. I got a no chip and in 2 days some were chipped and in 3 days 8 were chipped. I called and they redid them. After the redo in 4 days I have another chip. I wear gloves while doing dishes and I have never had this happen at other places I go to. With what I paid I should get at least 2 weeks. At my former place I got 3 weeks by my technician moved far away. I am not impressed with there work here. Here is a photo 4 days after the redo.

Jasha Anderson The staff here was very nice. And the facility is nice and clean and pretty. They did and acceptable job on both my manicure and pedicure. I give it four stars instead of five because I paid for a massage package but I got more of a foot rub and less of a massage. At other nail salons when I pay extra for all the works they give me a good deep foot and calf massage. Overall, my experience was good and I would return for a simple manicure and pedicure. Oh and if its important to you, as it is to me, they speak English well. This is important to me because I like to communicate what I want and make sure that Im understood and its nice that you can chat with them a little if youd like.

Britney Gomez Honestly the place is great I really love going to kimmi she did one of my most favorite nail sets and her attention to detail was amazing although i recently went in and got my nails done by someone else and i really don’t enjoy the nails i got this time and she was rushing through my nails and didn’t really give me a chance to put input and when i did she brushed it off I understand being tired but the nail is chipping already and i had gotten them done on Saturday. I will definitely only be going in when kimmi is there

Kimberly Lisitza Jordan and Unique are the best - mom and I have been their clients for a long time. Empyre Beauty Bar feels like home. From the second you walk in you’re greeted with genuine kindness and treated like family even after you’ve gone home. The technicians are top notch! In addition to their amazing skills, my favorite part is that they are LATEX FREE and clean!! Unique was able to fix some serious damage done at different salon that we all thought would cause permanent issues while I was wearing acrylics. Since then, I’ve been able to switch back to gel and keep Jordan as my tech! I highly recommend Empyre. You won’t be disappointed.

cassiana pozzi I have been going both Jordan and Unique for my nails for quite a while now and both ladies do such a fantastic job every single time. I get compliments on my nails ALL the time! I never used to get my nails done regularly but since going to them it’s become part of my monthly routine. Besides their wonderful work, getting my nails done by them just a fun experience. I always look forward to my appointments because they create a great and comfortable environment. They are extremely flexible and are always accommodating to my schedule which is beyond appreciated. So thankful I found them!

Melissa Jackson Unique takes amazing care of my nails. We started growing my nails out and using builder gel. I never have an issue with nails lifting and she’s so talented with designs. Empyre is a beautiful space with great energy. I always have a good time coming in!

Tasha McConnell Ive taken off the polish they gave me as it has started to peel on my hands. The service was great and the prices were far less than Ive paid at other salons. The woman had me look over her work and redid any nails I did not think were perfect. They were very nice the whole time we were in there.

Very disappointed with this new management

cherisse neverson One of the worst sets I’ve ever gotten. The service was very rushed and I hate to talk down about someone’s work but my nail tech personally was a a little aggressive w/ the way she was grabbing and tossing back my hands and her technique compared to other nails techs was not good. The glitter I chose was not used, the shape is lopsided and they are not all the same length, the tips are far too big and uneven and also not the V-Tip I wanted. To do the tips she covered almost my entire nail bed with white polish and tried to sloppily clean it up with a brush and acetone, leaving a white cast over the rest of the nails. When I mentioned this she said it was because the acetone is not clear and the clear nail polish will fix it. I again asked that she clean it up more and she sloppily and hurriedly went over it again with the acetone but didn’t clean up not one thing. Two of nails also smeared under the light because she put so much polish on and it was so thick and I had to mention it 3 times for her to fix it. She asked me “why?” and blamed me for not putting my hands under the LED light correctly. I get my nails done often and never have this issue. The sides of nails have no polish on them at all. I could go on and on about how horrible my nails were after getting them done here. I will be going to another nail salon to get them reshaped and to remove this awful polish job because looking at them makes me upset all over again. I’m never stepping foot in this place again.

Amanda Krause I’d give 0 stars if I could at this place. The service felt rushed here as well as very aggressive with grabbing my hands and throwing them back at myself to dry them in the light bar. Never again will I go here. You can see the brush marks as well.

Ynez Moreno Don always does an amazing job! Excellent service, exactly how I wanted them! I asked for a rose red color and he matched it pretty close!

Emily Basler I went here with my mom today for pedicures. We got the basic pedicures which are $30 according to their prices at their place. During my pedicure the lady I had was using the trimmers in my toes to get extra skin and cuticles around my big toes. She ended up pulling super hard on skin that was attached to my toe and ripped it off, making it bleed a little. We ended up only having like 20 minute pedicures and when we went to go pay it ended up being $100 for two pedicures. We got nothing else… we were a little confused but didn’t say anything. We realized we were over charged quite a bit it should have only been like $65. We didn’t get anhtnjng extra for the pedicures. Plus I ended up with shorter toe nails than I wanted a bleeding toe. NEVER GOING BACK. Don’t go back to this place.

Tammy Olson-Hammes I went in for a fill. I did not have an appointment. I walked in at 2:24 on a Friday afternoon and was finished and in my car at 3:23. Excellent, excellent service!

Jackie Piele Daisy is wonderful!! I go with my Mother in Law when I visit town and it’s a good experience each time! Daisy is so good and she’s quick too! Her mom helps out sometimes and she’s so adorable! My MIL got a 45 min foot massage from her while Daisy finished up my full set and she was in heaven lol

Rissa M Don’t waste your time coming here she’s unprofessional. She will tell you to come at a certain time but then you still have to wait 1-2 hrs for her to finish someone else. Who’s waiting that long?! I wasted my time & money coming here for no reason. Also when I get my nails done they only last a week before the nails start coming off. She also cut several of my toes to the point they were bleeding when doing my pedicure. It hurt really bad.

Jodessi Withaar My first experience at Blush was amazing! I was really anxious at first but I got comfortable very quickly. The place is beautiful and all of the staff seemed very nice, especially the ones who worked on me. My pedicure was great, and my nails are perfect!! Will definitely be back.

Carris Fischer As someone who has had their nails done professionally for 12+ years and have gone to several local salons, my experience at Blush Nail Lounge was one of the worst local experiences. I was in and out in under 30 minutes… as the tech I was with had an appointment show up during my scheduled appointment (possibly double booked?) and she rushed through mine to get to her other client. Her client sat in the chair right next to mine as she sped through my appointment. My nails were thick and uneven as you can see in the photos. I asked for several changes during the appointment, none were applied as I was rushed out of there, and I immediately had to go elsewhere to get them fixed that same day. The first few images are my nails after I left and the last was the inspo picture I pulled up for what I was looking for. French full sets are clearly not their strong suit nor is customer service. I do not recommend to anyone and will not be back.

Olivia Caple I’ve been coming here for a couple months and been getting my toes done. This last time was HORRIBLE. I had to get my toes redone and they still could be redone a third time… I lost the picture of my toes the first time the guy couldn’t get all my gel out so he just cut my toe that had the gel left on there, the water was absolutely disgusting. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but my toes were too bad went back the second time after calling and expressing my concerns. The guy tried to get me pay for a different color because he was only gonna fix what he messed up. They gave me the same guy who messed my toes up the first time after I had asked for someone else. My toe is getting infected I can’t touch it. the paint job is horrible left over red paint. Such a nice place and have never had problems untill now and I felt so dismissed.

Crystal Carter Wait wasnt too long. But overall it wasnt worth the $95 we paid. We were charged for 2 mani,pedis, 1 with no chip polish. I actually only got a pedicure and polish because that was NOT a manicure. He filed my nails and told me to go wash my hands, then polished my nails. And polished is already chipped a day later... the lady that did my bfs pedicure scraped skin off his ankle and his toe. We were definitely overcharged.

Davina Samuels I went there today, after going to another shop and they had me distraught! The wife greeted me and asked me what I needed. She then took me while I was explaining that I was so upset with the shop i had just left. She told me don’t worry about it! I told her I wanted plain nails and she did such a good job! Being that these are my real nails, this is the most natural they have ever looked! I will definitely be back!

Michelle Can someone please tell me where Joe and Viv went? This place used to literally be one of the best places in Rockford. Tried to take my SIL there after raving about it and its totally different. The quality of the products especially stood out to me. I just got back in town, tell me where Joe or Viv opened up a new shop pls.

Dulce Hernandez I loved coming here but after new management took over it just hasn’t been the same. The nails were no where near what I wanted but the lady couldn’t do the ombré that I wanted after they told me they could. She was getting upset because she kept having to redo my nail but it was just not what I wanted. These were suppose to be my birthday nails, so after I just had her do one color and add rhinestones but as you can see there so many air bubbles some of my nails didn’t get to finish drying up, I literally just got them done yesterday, overall i was not happy with anything it was not worth $110, while I was there I was really regretting not going to this other place. I’ll probably still come back for pedicures but never for my nails. Really debating whether to get them soaked off

Kelli Dickson My Girl Kim is holding it down the owner of pro nails from Auburn street strudy gorgeous nails you can get your eyebrows done your lashes done your lip wax all in one spot and the most important thing about it is wonderful environment and also if you want your eyebrows done right everybody knows you have to go see Kim for that if you want anything done right you have to go see Kim me and my husband always enjoy going to visit her

Amaree Parks Had a great experience with this place! It was my first time going on Sunday and they were very welcoming and friendly. I didn’t feel like they just wanted my money. They spent time getting to know me and asking questions. The process from start to finish was quick and professional. My nails came out cute and the person who did my nails didn’t just slap the nails on. He took his time actually caring for my nails and shaping them correctly. And the best part is they didn’t even charge me an arm and leg!

Jenna Bowers I had my nails done at a different nail shop in the area and I really disliked the way that they were done. They were supposed to be a simple overlay of my natural nail and they were thick and uneven but then I came to Nathan here at Lovely Nails and he fixed them and made them perfect!! Thank you Lovely Nails for the amazing set and the friendly environment everyone is so welcoming and kind and my nails are done the way that I want them!!

Ashley Lambert I loved this experience they got me in really quick I accidentally got there a hr before close and they got me in and out quick. My nails are so cute it was cheap for what I got. I got a full set with pink chrome and dip powder and I am in love if it wasn’t for me living 2 hrs away I would definitely come back! Next time i’m here tho I will definitely come back.

Yosh Lee Great great job! I got a no chip manicure and the nail technician really took her time and cleaned my nails up very nicely. Asked her to shape them for me and she did. Probably one of the best manicures I’ve ever got.

Susie Murray Liam did a fabulous job cleaning up a bad “dip” from another salon. He was very detailed and made sure everything looked great. Tried the dark brown - I like it!

Alejandra Mercado I got a pedicure in March during my pedicure the nail tech cut me on the bottom of my foot. My foot immediately felt tender when I got out of the chair. When I got home I took my shoes off and saw the cut I immediately called the salon. They requested proof of the cut via text message so I sent them a photo. In that conversation they offered a $20 discounts if I returned for another pedicure and were very apologetic. So I agreed to return as accidents happen and they handled the call very professionally. However, when I returned for a pedicure and showed them the messages they asked me to present at check out for the discount they denied the incident happening at their salon. I was prepared to spend over $100 on that visit (two pedicures and 2 gift cards for Mother’s Day gifts). After being treated that way I gladly paid for the service I was provided however, canceled the gift cards I will be taking my business elsewhere. Complete lack of integrity and accountability.

Brandy G Faith79 Their service is just so bad, I thought the mall was bad! You got to fight for a hand massage that only take one minute for both hands, and I be willing to pay for it if it aint included. Havent even been a week and they are cracking and hurting, the lady didnt even put the Polish to hide the damage theyve caused my nails with using different amounts of the no chip now my nails are weak and I have to get fake nails with it. Then they want to charge $2 per credit card swipe when they are only charged 50 cent per swipe Im a business owner and I know these things. She wont even fix the broken nails, like I broke them and I do chair yoga for a living at a nursing home.

Anna Marquardt $127 for these two sets of nails. That’s $65 each. “Perfect Nails Prices”= An acrylic set with color cost $45. Nail art cost $10. Both sets are not long. So tell me why I ended up paying 127 for both and it does not even look great?? After the first initial heart on the ring finger, the lines completely lose their heart shape! I can do nails myself but I just wanted something extra nice for when I go on vacation… but I wish I had just done them myself because I can paint with both my right and left hand to = better results. This is supposed to be their daily professional job. Very nice staff, kind but just didn’t really know what they were doing. These people were putting forth their best effort tho. Sabrina E I have been here about three times and it has always been a good experience. Ive always been able to get in the same day if I call early in the day. The prices are reasonable. The couple who own the place do all the services themselves and they both do a great job. The salon is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this place.

Laura Mashinter I have been coming to Zarah Nails for a few years and I always use Tina because she’s always willing to take care of the customers the best that she can and listen to them and give them the best designs. She’s kind and compassionate as are all of the technicians here it feels like a family rather than a business. That’s why I will never go anywhere else.
