Planet Fitness - Bloomington
Planet Fitness
Rodriguez Dominick (Smokiebear91): I recently visited the Planet Fitness in Bloomington, IL, and I had a fantastic experience! The gym is impressively clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and safe while working out. The staff is attentive and regularly sanitizes equipment, ensuring a hygienic environment for all members, especially Marrisa. The layout of the gym is spacious, giving plenty of room to move around, and there’s a great variety of machines and weights available. The atmosphere is welcoming and non-intimidating, which is perfect for both beginners and seasoned gym-goers. Overall, I highly recommend the Bloomington Planet Fitness for anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained gym with a positive vibe. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to!
Five Alarm Fitness - Bloomington
Ryan Reilly: My life turned around for the better the moment I stepped into this gym. Five Alarm Fitness has helped me build the tools to better my life both in and outside of the gym. It’s also a place where community is family and you know everyone’s names. I can’t imagine being anywhere else.
Be Strong - Bloomington
JoAnn Hayden: The Fitness and Nutrition challenge at Be Strong is one of the best around!! The coaches are extremely supportive and encouraging! I went into this a little uncertain of what to expect, and I know I will be leaving with an entirely new approach to my nutrition. I am growing in confidence with my nutrition decisions because of my incredible coach who has held my hand along the way! My greatest desire would be for anyone thinking about joining is to take the leap! You will be met with kindness and a judgement free zone. You will walk away with a completely new mindset on how to nourish your one and only body!
Orangetheory Fitness - Bloomington
Phil Olinger: The workouts are total body and never seem to get old. I always look forward to them. The coaches and music enhance the workouts, providing the right pace and making sure the class is getting the full benefit of showing up. The other thing I like about the workouts is the fact that they work! You can’t not see results!
Anytime Fitness - Normal
Cara McMorris: I absolutely love my gym! I feel safe there anytime day or night, and I love seeing the same familiar faces every time I go! From the small details, like tampons and soft toilet paper in the bathroom, to an incredible variety of workout equipment, I highly recommend time fitness in Normal to everyone! There is a wide variety of ages, and equipment is always available when I want to use it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and I love just chatting with them!
Farrells eXtreme Bodyshaping - Bloomington IL - Bloomington
Tia Moore: Awesome place! The coaches are really supportive and engaging, and you actually have a great time while getting a good workout! Since it’s a group class, I’m able to do cardio and strength training without having to think up the exercises myself. I enjoy the ease of just showing up, stretching, and getting right to work. They have multiple class times so I’ve been able to go earlier or later, if necessary. The routine of heading there everyday after work has had me working out consistently. Everyone in the gym is friendly, and there are people of all fitness intensity levels. Whether needing to do modified or following the instructor, I never feel like I’m cheating myself as long as I have a mind to compete against myself. They help with exercise form, nutrition suggestions, etc. I’ve already recommended to friends and I think everyone should join to feel stronger and more accomplished. Definitely check out this gym!
YMCA - Bloomington
Jeff Stewart: Beautiful facility, but the building was built when the area still had Golds Gym, two Golds Express, and LA Fitness. Now, those places all closed and the YMCA is too busy for a lifter to get a workout in. Its nearly impossible to use the facility during Jan/Feb when resolution culture, and then the place is overrun in June/July when college is out of session. When a family membership plus swim lessons (2 hrs/month for a 2-yr old) costs almost $150/month, its absurd to justify a membership that cant be used for a third of the year because the facility is too small.
Body of Bloomington - Bloomington
Kenadi Fuller: Amazing! Just had my first experience at Body of Bloomington. Took an intro to pole class, and it was awesome. I had so much fun and already feel like my confidence is boosted. The instructor was great and super friendly. She did a good job of breaking things down for us beginners but also offered more advanced techniques for those wanting to experiment a little more.
Game Time Gym II - Station5ONE Recreation - Bloomington
jeff Barr: Just been here to watch the small guys play soccer. Good place. The only thing I dont like is the netting hanging as a barrier. It messes with my eyes looking thru it.
The PIT Strength & Conditioning - Bloomington
Jared Gahm: Savion is the best trainer there for any athlete trying to take it to the next level.
