Planet Fitness - Waukegan Richard Wershe jr: My wife and I have been members for years, long before the current regional manager took over. The old crew was the best their bubbly energy, warm welcomes made the place feel like home, and even the bathrooms and showers were always spotless. Now, everything feels forced. New workers are horrible, cleanliness has plummeted, even the easiest areas to maintain like bathrooms and showers aren’t properly cleaned, and staff are constantly pushed to solicit 5-star Google reviews. Shout out to Jordan, the GM, for helping me out with some stuff he does his best with the resources he’s given, is professional, attentive, and genuinely cares. Some other staff are great too. But until the regional manager steps up and actually leads instead of just chasing reviews, this club won’t return to the standards longtime members expect.
