4 /5 Rafael Silva: I thought the service was great, extremely attentive. I also enjoyed that it did not feel pretentious. For a 1 MS spot, I expected a bit more. I had the brown butter scallops and the Dry aged duck. Brown butter scallops needed way more brown butter flavor. I feel like the foam took away from the aesthetics and the taste of the dish. Scallops were expertly cooked The dry aged duck is a very strong dish, crispy top, cooked to perfection. Heart sausage, puree and the shiitake mushroom didn’t wow me as well. Honestly, good restaurant, just a bit expensive for what you get. Cocktail with mezcal and tequila was fine.

5 /5 Jonathan Leonard: Wow, what an incredible meal. From the moment we walked in, everything at Boka was top-notch. ​Every plate that came out was almost too beautiful to eat, but Im glad we did! The flavors in every dish were just amazing. We started with the caviar and it was the perfect kickoff to the dinner. And I have to say, dont sleep on the chicken dish. I know it sounds simple, but it was genuinely my favorite thing we ordered all night, cooked perfectly. ​The vibe is great for a special night out, and the cocktails were fantastic. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, and their wine suggestions were spot on, which made the whole experience even better. ​We had an unforgettable night. Boka is definitely worth it for a special occasion. 5 stars, easily!

Matty was a delightful detail, oriented touch, always making sure our napkins were perfectly folded and the table remained pristine. Kyle added a personable charm, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout the evening. The food itself was simply extraordinary, each dish exceeded expectations with layers of flavor and beautiful presentation. From the first bite to the last, it was a true culinary journey. The wine and cocktail selections paired beautifully, offering something for every palate and enhancing the dishes even further. That said, for a Michelin-starred restaurant, there is still room to elevate the service to match the world-class level of the cuisine. While every member of the team was kind and attentive, a little more refinement and seamless coordination would make the experience absolutely flawless. 5 /5 Alex: What an experience! They were running about 30 minutes behind on reservations when we arrived but once we sat down, everything picked up and was incredible. Jesse was our waiter and he did so good. The 3 of us did the 8 course tasting menu and were around until close to 11PM. His energy was HIGH. He made the night fun and enjoyable. The food was incredible as well. The best piece of fish and best pasta Ive ever eaten. It was well worth the food. I also do not like wine. However, I am happy to say I had 8 glasses of really good wine with my food. It might have changed my perspective. Really well done dinner and service. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Tim: My wife and I took a weekend trip to Chicago as a Christmas gift to each other. We wanted to go to a Michelin star restaurant and chose Boka. We chose the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was the most expensive meal Ive ever paid for. However, it was also the most incredible meal experience Ive ever paid for. The service was incredible. The flavor combinations were amazing as well as surprising. We wanted an "experience" and Boka delivered. A small downside is that this is Chicago. It wasnt the most spacious seating Ive ever been in, but pretty understandable for the city. On the upside, the food was art, and being closer to other tables meant you could admire it without looking as weird, lol! Truthfully, their normal menu items are reasonably priced for the quality of everything else. You dont have to go all in like we did. It was a truly one of a kind experience that we will happily do again someday!
