5 /5 Heather Bailey: We were up from Florida. My cousin recommended Home Plate. They were closed so we Googled what was open and close. This came up with good reviews so we decided we would try it. Glad we did. Best service we have had while visiting the area. Food was good and we both enjoyed our meal. Also got to meet some folks who just moved back from our neck of the woods. Would recommend if you are in the area!

5 /5 Payton Weathers: I have never had a better Reuben in my life. Staff is amazing, atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and food & drink are all 15 out of 10. If you ever are in Palestine, IL make absolutely sure you stop in. You will not be disappointed.

5 /5 Sophie Kershaw-Patilla: We enjoyed a family dinner. Its a comfy, family-friendly place to eat. My favorite was the onion rings - Ill definitely order again! Our burgers were well-made, and the portions were good. Ive seen Facebook posts of cocktails and other daily specials, so well likely be back to try more of their menu. Low frills, easy-going restaurant, where youll feel like part of the local crowd.

5 /5 Ray Rentchler: Nice little diner in a quiet little town. The food was great, the service was friendly. We visit Palestine on Labor Day weekend every year for the rodeo and yard sales, this will be on our list of places to eat again next year.
