Shawns Coffee - Sycamore (IL)

5 /5 Lynn Woolard: We are new to Cortland, from Elgin, and had a taste for bagels. Trying to find something similar to our beloved Big Apple Bagels which we had become accustomed to. We tried another local DeKalb shop recently and it did not hit the spot, so this time we decided to try Shawns. We are really happy with our choice! Shawn and his staff were very attentive and pleasant. The breakfast bagels (I had a ham and cheddar on a sesame bagel, hubby had bacon, egg and cheese on plain) were fantastic! I took home an Everything bagel with olive cream cheese, cause I had to try the cream cheese, and it was also very good. The coffee was spot on and nice and hot. Id love to go back to try the homemade soup and a lunch sandwich next time. We really enjoyed our breakfast a couple weeks ago and will definitely go back.

3 /5 Victor Rodriguez: We enjoyed our blueberry and everything bagel, they were tasty. Ordered a drip coffee which was fine, also ordered a latte with coconut flavor, the flavor was lacking.

4 /5 Edmond Schaffer: BLUF: Great little place to get a bagel and cream cheese or a delicious deli style sandwich quickly. My wife and I really love this place. It’s definitely not fancy or upscale, but the food and coffee are great. It’s a “simple order at the counter” kind of local place. The workers are always nice.

5 /5 Deb Franciscy: My daughter and I went in this morning. Ordered a couple bagel breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Delicious! Got a little busy but she handled it well and still made delicious sandwiches and the coffee was so good. Thank you for a great visit. Definitely will be back!

2 /5 Andrew Bruderli: The coffee and hot chocolate were way too hot snd didnt have much flavor. The cookies were stale as well. The service was average at best. Id really only come back if I was looking to patronize a local business, but this spot can be skipped without hesitation.
