1 /5 Grandpa Nate: First visit because we were intrigued by the reviews. Our experience was not great. The fish sandwich had the thinnest sliver of fish wrapped in a huge hoagie style of bun. I slathered on tartar sauce with the hopes of making the most of it. It didnt work.
Found the fish itself to be entirely flavorless. When the server (Emily C) asked, I gave her the same info. She offered to get more fish, which I refused since it was flavorless. No compensation of any other type was offered. She just walked away.
My wife had the gyro, which she said was so-so, with something being a bit bitter in the sandwich. It was one of the smaller gyros Ive seen.
Fries with both sandwiches were bountiful and extremely hot.
Since the management doesnt respond to reviews, my review or anyone elses can only alert future customers - not drive any improvements.
With such a disappointing first visit, and lacksidasic server response along with many other restaurants in the area, I doubt will risk trying it a second time.
Updated review from 3-star to 1-star after paying bill. Was not asked how the meal was by the cashier. My wife noted that he (possibly the manager) had been alerted by our server.
Decision is easy: no need to return to a restaurant that isnt interested in improving. So long!
