5 /5 Jaemi Lehmann: Ive lived in California most of my life & the sushi from here is so superb! Unbelievably fresh sushi & perfectly cooked & everything else! Food presentation is so whimsical & thoughtful, with added plate decor & mouthwatering sushi. The Dancing Scallops are a particular favorite of mine & my familys - just the best fried scallop ever. I dream of these babies. We ordered in for lunch & ordered a few more rolls to-go for dinner that evening at home!! The sushi menu is large & largely seaweed-free. Lots of rolls with rice paper or cucumber wrapping. Theres quite a lot of options for people who dont like fish or have allergies and non-fish options. Also, I was able to eat here while PREGNANT! (Dont @ me lol) They have a big cooked sushi menu, which is a safer option for pregnant folks who are craving sushi but have worries about consuming raw fish or sushi CHECK THEM OUT!

5 /5 Grace Marchello: Flavorful and fresh sushi for an affordable price. Their side dishes including seaweed salad, avocado salad, miso soup, edamame, and steamed shrimp dumplings are fantastic. They have a great selection of sushi options with a variety of seafood, vegetable and tempura options. Their sushi is fresh, well-prepared and delicious! They also offer bento boxes and other entrées like fried rice and noodles. The service is consistently attentive and prompt. Their servers are very friendly. There is limited street parking.

The sushi is so fresh and flavorful. Again I highly recommend this place. 8/29/25 This restaurant is amazing. Starting with Amy the owner and her husband Bao the sushi chef they have the best sushi around. Also the staff Sol and Matt who do an excellent job. 6 stars. I tried my favorite sushi roll the Devil roll. Also if you like good kick order the real wasabi.

5 /5 Kathy: Had the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box for lunch. Everything was delicious!! Will go there again. I was surprised at the large portions. The box was large enough for an additional meal or large enough to share. The fried rice ranked in some of the best I have ever eaten. I loved the salad dressing with ginger in it. I am not a lover of sushi and hope that next time I can ask for substitute with another pork gyoza.

5 /5 Shalini Joiner: We love this casual little Japanese restaurant, and have been coming here from the Chicago area for years- its full of character, the food is always amazing, and its right on the main drag in Galena. Most recent visit was to bring our adult kids, and they seemed to enjoy it! We ordered a little bit of everything, mostly rolls, and as a result, got it served in the big boat! Lots of fun. Service was friendly and didnt take long, prices as always are very reasonable. One little quirk to remember- if you need to setup a reservation for a group, you can only do it within 24 hrs of the time you want to come- and over the phone. Very happy eating here as usual, and will keep coming back!
