4 /5 Charlie Dango: Nice place for maid-rites from a vintage location built in 1928. Cool aesthetics, but vibe seemed a bit quiet and somber. Great hand dipped shakes! Worth dropping by if youre near Rend Lake in southern Illinois.

5 /5 John Butler: Every time we eat there the food is wonderful. You get a large portion and the service is very good. You have to try their pie, too. It’s an old fashioned sit at the counter dining area. It will remind you of yesteryear.

5 /5 Terra “Mrs.Kerk”: The MaidRite is an experience where you go back in time to the old fashioned barstools, a fountain soda, MaidRite sandwich and golden crinkle French fries. If you’re not a burger fan, the chicken strips are excellent! The pie is homemade and a favorite. Town regulars meet in the morning for coffee and a chat. Just a great place to visit!

5 /5 Jessica Fencl Bose: Nostalgic for me! Love the food and atmosphere and all the memories of a kid I have here with my great grandparents. Food was just as good as I remembered! Didnt have pie this time but my mouth was watering looking at them! Will always stop when driving down south!

Had 4 maid rite sandwiches (ground/ minced beef shaped loosely onto a hamburger bun with raw dice onions and mustard), fries and chili cheese fries, sodas plus pies. $50 total for lunch. Great service, quick, no complaints. Good food! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty bite!!
