5 /5 Stephen Nelson: This is my favorite place to stop for lunch. I love the brats and pizza burgers. The potato salad is good, but the pasta salad is the best. The people who run this place are some of the nicest people you will meet. Next time you are in Lewistown, Illinois pull over and try them out.

The Food Barn is a food trailer serving traditional favorites such as pork chops, tenderloins, brats, hot dogs, and cheeseburgers with some pleasant surprises like gyro sandwiches, a chicken sandwich, and a fish filet. Daily specials are also available. You can order chips, soft drinks, and even a beer. I had the pork chop and it was excellent. I can say it was as good or better than any pork chop I have ever tasted. Tender, flavorful, and a large portion. I will be a regular customer and recommend you give them a try.
