Its hard to find parts for my car but he allowed me to find them and bring them in. Bill and Bryan are the guys to see in the Peoria area they know what they are doing and fast about getting it done

Bhaskar Kallepalli I used to go to Ried’s for all My car repairs but after he took retirement it was hard to find reliable automotive repair shop and Person. Either places are really expensive or poor quality . Bill was really friendly and very professional . I got shock absorbers and struts installed. His quote was really competitive .His work was good. I am happy. I would go again and would recommend this place .

Stephen Strope I had a problem with my vehicle overheating. I brought it into them and they got it in literally the minute I brought it to them. They were very honest and up front on the path that needed to be taken to fix the problem. I dont take it lightly when I recommend someone however, I definitely will recommend them to anyone who asks me for a good mechanic. They did a great job and Ill recommend them to anyone. Great company great work and the price was reasonable.

wrestling matters Vehicle got damaged in their parking lot while got work on and left parts off that i already had that were still good. Also couldnt figure out how to fix my with an idling problem had it for 2 months.

Dean H Best paint shop around. Gary does a nice job running the place. They do quite a bit of paint for my shop. Never had any issues. I usually do not recommend painters to anyone because they seem to be inconsistent in quality or time but I send everyone who asks to this shop because I know they will be taken care of. Keep up the great work.

Natalie George Had a great experience with Mark - we went from test drive to completion within about 10 days (and it would have been faster if not for public holidays). As soon as the pertinent details were satisfied, I was driving my new car away. Mark was responsive, and clear on who needed to do what and when - super helpful!

Ben Schonken Great place and friendly people. My old eclipse broke down while traveling home for the weekend. I called around, but they were the only ones able to get me back on the road that same day so I wouldnt be stuck in Peoria for the weekend. Even though I was desperate as hell to get my starter fixed, they gave me a very fair price, and worked with my schedule to get me back on the road no less than an hour later.

Pat Ryan DO NOT GO HERE…I took my car in to get fixed and they diagnosed that the engine seized up and told me they couldn’t put a new one in and that I had to get it done somewhere else. So I had to find and buy a 3200 engine and pay my neighbor 1400 to put it in. When he got it put in he found out that it was just the starter this whole time and my engine wasn’t seized up at all…Mike said since it was his employee not him who diagnose my car it wasn’t his fault. It was my fault for believing that they were competent, he also refused to put the starter in when I asked him to compensate a little the mistake that his shop made, but he said no it was my neighbor’s fault for it because he didn’t check the starter first, and he argued it was actually stalled until I showed him a video of it turning. He did say sorry…so he has that going for him, but that doesn’t really help me pay back the money I had to take out of my 401k.

Ian Berg My car was in and out, fixed a problem that I had for ages but for much cheaper than anyone else. He had to do more work than anticipated but didnt raise his price. Car is running smooth and quiet, couldnt be happier

Candace Siebenthal My son had an exhaust that needed repaired. He went there, they pulled him right in, patched up his exhaust, and told him no charge. Amazing! To return the favor, I sent my husband here because he needed an exhaust repair. They pulled him in right away without an appointment! Repaired his exhaust pipe, put a new muffler on, and he was back to work within an hour. We will continue to take every repair here for exhaust and brakes from here forward, for both our family, and our business. Thank you Campos!

King Ramsses Iiii Ive been going here for about 15 years + they put dual exhaust on 2 of my Trucks, they put breaks on my Mercedes-Benz and a lot of my family goes here too. They used to do a good respectable job. Went here a few days ago to get New tirod ends, and an alignment. The alignment was off by quite a bit. I dont know if they even did it.

Greg George Customer for over 2 years. Charles is a great resource in a fellow car enthusiast - knowledgeable and professional. Helped me understand and compare options for my car. Very, very happy with the 2nd affordable Malone tune he did for me. Kicks in at about 35 and pulls a lot harder. Cruising at 80 is effortless where it felt like a slog before. Feels like a new machine. Great acceleration from 70 up to whatever. Gas mileage looks excellent. Seems a great match for my upgraded clutch injectors, whereas before things were clunky. All the smoke is now gone on acceleration. Thanks CR Performance!

Ashley Haywood Im taking my review back, brandon actually over spilled oil in my car then wen i left it was smoking bad, wen i pulled back up he was lik yea i spilled oil n i tried to wipe it up n continue to spray watever it was to hlp stop the smoking. So a month later i try n have my spark plugs replaced, all along oil everywhere. Only got two replaced, so much freakn oil its crazy, so i pull up to Midas on University n gale, brandon was there only one there,he was the only one there wen i got my oil changed so there was no one to over look brandon, gave him a good review n etc. So wen i gt to midas i told brandon just be real n forthcoming n jus tell me u over filled n spilled more than wat u did. So im really pissed off i tell brandon this is not how u treat a loyal customer n i need a manager, he tells me he the manager n all along hes not. So we hve few more words bout my car n the oil. I go sit n my car n call midas on glen ave n talk to Ken. Ken tells me he sorry, blah blah the usual. So im lik ok im crying ,n my car is shaking n etc. So i look up brandon done called the cops on me n said its a hostile customer,im sitting in my car not thinkn about u doin wat ken told me to is wait for the manager at 830 am or 9am, so brandon calls corp n thy tell police i need to gt off thy property n deal with watever i need to. So the police tells me corp said take it to ken on glen so i had to gt my car towed there, so thy hve my car for few hours, come back n say due to someone changing my spark plugs it misfired n i need ignotion coil soon, so im ok check egine light off, n something telln me thy full of shit n lying to cover thy asses, known brandon dd over filled n spilled oil everywhere, so one week later i take my car to nissan dealer ship n i had to come out my pocket 2400 dollars for the oil tht spilled and midas knew it. I have pictures n what the tech saw wen he dd my inspection

Mike Joseph This place is absolutely wonderful! I had the radiator replaced on my old Jeep and they did it quicker than estimated and had the part in stock! Dwayne has been doing radiators for decades and it shows. He is very knowledgeable about all things to do with automobiles. The place is really fascinating inside with huge baths filled with green liquid to find air bubbles in radiators. Anyways, I highly recommend this shop. They fixed my Jeep quickly and for a fair price.

Brandon Lawson The guys at Rex Radiator did an absolute amazing job of repairing my Allis Chalmers dozers radiator. Before I was recommended to go to Rex I took my radiator to another radiator repair shop. They said it was going to have to be completely rebuilt to a sum of $1200! I said no way! So a guy I buy my tires from in Peoria said take it to Rex. I did and the guys had it done and repaired in no time at all for a quarter of the price quoted from the other business. I HIGHLY recommend Rex for their amazing service and professionalism. Thank you Rex Radiator!

Shelly My experience with Farmington Road Autobody and proprietor Daniel Carson exceeded my expectations. My damaged car emerged from their garage looking better than new. He stuck to his original price estimate and took the time at the outset to explain what needed to be done and answered all questions. Daniel kept me updated along the way and didnt leave me hanging. I highly recommend his high quality work and attention to detail. Did l mention he beats out his competitors financially as well? Much more affordable than the other estimates. Brooklyn Garcia Worst Firestone experience I’ve had. I came in due to a battery light coming on in my car and I asked for them to check the alternator asked for the A/C to be checked and an oil change be done as well. They told me everything was good with my battery and alternator and I made a second appointment to service the A/C and tie rods they recommend. Two days later I came back for this appointment and had only the tie rods done, no explanation on why the A/C service wasn’t completed. Four days after this my battery light came back on, my car died, and when I inspected on the side of a highway I found my coolant completely dry. I called to ask how a coolant pressure test system was performed and told they don’t check the levels (despite the website stating they check all fluid levels) I walked to get coolant paid for a tow to the Firestone as my car would not even turn on and when I arrived I asked them again to check the alternator. They asked me to put a new battery in since mine wouldn’t hold a charge (I bought my current battery in February this year) The next day they called and told me my car was ready for pick up. I had received the email of services stating I needed a new water pump as I suddenly had a coolant leak that hadn’t been noticed the 2 previous visits despite them stating they did a vehicle inspection plus check and a coolant system test (which tests for leaks) I asked if they had fixed the leak and they said no I’d have to make another appointment. I reluctantly agreed and asked if the car was safe to drive. They said yes. I went that night to get my car and my keys had not been left in the vehicle. I called that morning and requested they complete the coolant work due to my car now having to sit there all day and me being unable to take it to a new location for work. An hour after I called they called back to ask about replacing my alternator as “thats why my battery wouldn’t charge” (baffling as I told them twice this was the issue and twice was told it was checked and it was not required). During the work on my water pump and alternator they called again to state I had a hole in my radiator, and that is why my car was leaking fluid. I’m beyond angry with this location and will not be returning. I came in asking for the issue to be resolved and got entirely cheated, lied to, and manipulated. I have done my own car work for the last 5 years and am appalled by the lack of accountability, or quality work put into their services. How did no one notice my radiator “dumping” fluid the 3 previous times I came in for work? On top of that it sat on their property for 36hrs straight and suddenly there was a hole in my radiator? I will never be returning to this location.

Ethen Glasson I booked an appointment over the phone at this location. When I called in the morning to confirm the appointment, they said they needed to move my appointment from 8 to 9:30am because "they arent supposed to be servicing vehicles that early in the morning, even though they are technically open." Then my 9:30am appointment time arrived. I waited patiently for my vehicle to be serviced, but it wasn"t budging. At 10:30am I checked in with them since they werent giving me an update. Thats when they informed me that they didnt even have an employee who could do the alignment working that day. They were going to let me just sit there all day without any hope of my service getting done. Finally, they called somebody in to do the service. Feel free to reimburse me for this giant waste of time.

Zacch FromdaLou Jason the mechanic has to be one of the most unprofessional humans I’ve ever had to deal with. He take weeks to do even the littlest things and can’t ever seem to give a proper time table for anything he’s also extremely shady just says “call in a few days”?!? After 3 almost 4 weeks he hasn’t even brought my car inside the shop(RIDICULOUS). But all this wouldn’t be as much of a problem if the man would pick up his damn phone and communicate, which he doesn’t. This is beyond ridiculous, how is it that I called on different numbers and you can’t seem to ever pick up your the company phone. This is not worth the $1450 I paid at all. I’m not saying rush the job, just work diligently!!!!

Austyn Marks Was able to get us in on short notice. Owner is a great guy. No other shop knew what air bag helper springs were and he knew what I was talking about right away. Job was completed earlier than expected and they did a quality job.

Jana Gunther Jims Autobody repaired my 4Runner after hitting a deer. They repaired it quickly and made it look better than before the accident. They even went above and beyond to touch up paint that was chipped on other areas of the vehicle unrelated to the accident. Jim was kind and communicated well before and during the repairs. Highly recommend them for any autobody needs!
