5 /5 Suzanne Rens: I absolutely love this salon! First of all, it doesn’t have that strong, typical nail salon smell when you walk in, which is such a nice change. The whole place is super clean, and everyone is so friendly. I waited to write this review to really test how my nails held up, and I’m impressed! I got BIAB done by Nomi, and my nails lasted an amazing 3 weeks. As a personal trainer, I’m pretty tough on my hands—I’m constantly washing them and working with equipment—but they still looked fantastic (just got really long!). The second photo is my fresh set from today, and I’m obsessed. Thank you so much, Nomi! Highly recommend!

2 /5 Fisola Adeosun: I really wanted to rate this place higher because the staff are genuinely amazing, and I appreciated how gentle their service was on my nails. I got a BIAB (builder gel) manicure a little over two weeks ago, hoping for something that would really last. Unfortunately, the nails started chipping just three days in. They offered a free touch-up the following week, and I actually didn’t mind that they had to dissolve and redo the whole set—it gave me a chance to try a new color, and honestly, it just showed how intentional and caring they are with their clients. That said, the second set started chipping again after just a week. I do cook and wash dishes often, which could be a factor, but that’s exactly why I opted for BIAB in the first place. So while the service and staff are great, I’m just a bit disappointed in the durability.

5 /5 Raina Gorman: The GelX application looked nice initially, but the nail on my left pointer finger lifted and fell off after being on for just three days. I think it was applied incorrectly. My tech was sweet (hence the two stars instead of one) but had to start over several times and the UV glue exceeded far beyond my natural nail which left an ugly and rough underside. I’m sad that I’ll have to get my nails fixed as soon as I get back to my home city after I spent a lot of money on this set. 4/22 EDIT: Revised my edit from 2 stars to five because of the amazing customer service I received. As soon as the salon saw my review, the customer satisfaction manager Tam reached out to me directly and offered to make things right. When I told Tam that I was just in Chicago for the weekend, she offered to cover the cost of a replacement set at a salon in my home city. This is some of the best customer service I’ve received from any business, big or small. I really appreciated the effort to make things right. Thank you so much!

5 /5 Tricia Luko: Brianna is THE best!! Took such good care of my nails. Her attention to detail was impeccable. They are v punctual and get you in and out in time! Salon was so clean and everyone was so friendly!

LO Spa & Nails at Southloop - Chicago Avendah Zickterman: The owner is so attentive, kind, and takes pride in his establishment. I made an appointment for a party of three. Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon, he made sure we were able to sit next to each other at the pedicure and manicure stations. He helped me put my socks and shoes on to avoid messing up my nails. The nail technicians did an amazing job! My pinky toe nails are permanently damaged, and the technician was very gentle. I love the tools they used to clean up the cuticles and dead skin on the toe nails - efficient and effective. The foot massage was wonderful, and my feet are still soft. Love this place! I travel from the far south side to get my nails done at this location, and it is definitely worth it.

VIP Nails Spa - Chicago Tiffany Gaymon: Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Price I recently visited this nail salon and, unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service. The quality of my nails is subpar; the lines are crooked, the French tips are uneven, and what should have been a relaxing experience turned into a frustrating three-hour ordeal. For $120, I expected a much higher level of craftsmanship. Regrettably, I dont feel that the service I received warranted this price. I would appreciate it if the owner could address this issue and correct my nails at no additional charge. Communication is essential, and I hope to resolve this matter amicably. Nails done by Kay

NAILàCARTE - West Loop - Chicago Dr. Callista Lay DC: Celine did my nails today and they are perfect! Exactly what I wanted and asked for and she was very patient and attentive. The flower work is so delicate and sweet. She really took her time selecting colors and creating a soft yet elegant look for me. I’m very happy with what I got and appreciate Celine so much!!!

Elegant Nails On Wells - Chicago Francesca Veto: This is two reviews in one. I absolutely love my nails! Johnny has done my nails twice, and is so lovely and talented. He is patient when I show him the design I want and even added the chrome powder when I told him I like a bit of shine! The Vibe is good, and Johnny asked me questions about myself. I am so impressed with the design. The first photo was my pre-valentines day nails. I wanted something more subtle, and the second is V-Day ready!

Fabulous Nails Spa - Chicago Allison Hegner: I started going to Fabulous Nails as my friends were ranting and raving about their nails…. And they were right! Sindy & the team are always so friendly and welcoming when I walk into the salon. I have been going to Sindy for 6 + months and in that time I have had ONE nail chip…. ONE in 6 months! My manicures also easily last 2.5-3 weeks each time I go. Not only do they have literally any color you could ask for, but the salon is super clean as well. Overall, I truly have nothing negative or any critics for Fabulous Nails! I enjoy going to get my nails done and they are done well, efficiently, and the price is very fair. I would highly recommend Fabulous Nails to anyone looking for a new salon!

LO Spa and Nails at Lakeshore East - Chicago Lauren Sugar: Lo Spa in Lakeshore East is consistently phenomenal. They’re close to home for me and every time I need a last minute walk in, they squeeze me in and do a great job! I’ve probably had 5+ various techs over the years and every single one has done a great job. Salon itself is clean and beautiful. And they have a ton of color options - Which are also organized and easy to find. Love this place!

Warm & Fuzzy Nails - Chicago Kelsie Suokas: I recently moved and my nails and cuticles were an absolute wreck from opening lots of packages and all of the cleaning.
