2 /5 Joanna Blazek: I came here for an acrylic fill-in and while the service was definitely fast—probably the quickest I’ve ever had at around 25 minutes—that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The cleanliness of the space was very lacking. There was no towel or any kind of barrier where I placed my hands, just a dirty surface that clearly hadn’t been wiped down in a while.
While I was getting my nails done, another customer was waiting for a pedicure. It seemed like the owner pressured my nail tech to finish quickly so she could move on to the next service. As a result, the rest of my appointment felt rushed and careless. After my nails dried, I noticed they were crooked and the polish was uneven. Instead of fixing anything, the owner quickly swiped some oil on my hands and told me to wash them—that was it. No hand massage, no lotion, nothing to finish off the service.
Yes, it was about $15 cheaper than the salon I usually go to, but the lack of quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail just isn’t worth the savings. I won’t be returning.
