Bri D Jas is the best nail tech I’ve ever had! I can literally show her a picture of an acrylic set and she will do it better everytime!! Sometimes I don’t even have pictures and there’s just an idea of how I want them to look and she will make it happen as if she can see the image in my head. Her suite is so cute and comfortable, she is always on time and on top of her scheduling (an issue I’ve experienced with the last tech)! I will foreverrrr recommend Jas to anyone looking for custom press-ons, nail care, or to get their hands and feet done.

Ary and Damare When I found this nail tech I never went to shops again. My nails last way longer and I get more detailing work for around the same price I would pay for a basic set at the salon. I’m on my 5th set! And they keep getting better !!

Robert Lake I have been going to Salon 21 for almost 30 years and Rella the owner has always done my hair. My husband has been going for over 20 years too. This is because we both love the job that Rella does for us. Rella and her staff are professional, pay close attention to details and are friendly and helpful. Lourdes Soto-Smith I’ve been going to Salon 21 for about 7-8 years and I have never been disappointed. At this point I honestly don’t trust anyone but Rella with my hair. I get haircuts, highlights, and the like but my favorite is the much recommended keratin treatments. The massages I receive by the amazing Danute are heavenly! The best I’ve ever had…and I’ve had many! Two times per month is my average. Marcia helps out from time to time at the front desk, decorating for different season, answering the phone, running errands and what not. She is honestly one of the sweetest people I know. I am aware the salon offers many other services which I have not tried but I am quite confident they are just as great. Obviously, I recommend 100%. Salon 21!!!

Amanda J My mom, my friends and myself have been going to nail tek for all our nail care needs for years, and have never been disappointed! Sue who operates scheduling and coordinates appointments and customers in the shop has always been warm welcoming and helpful! Whether I schedule an appointment, call right before arriving, or simply walk-in I am always paired with nail techs who are knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. The salon is always clean despite how much foot traffic there is, and I always leave with a smile. Their color selections are top notch and provide essentially every color imaginable. Jeni and John have done fun designs for me, and kept me in the loop for what’s trending. Pictures provided are acrylic sets done by either I have mentioned, as well as couple who I hadn’t asked their names during a walk-in. Always recommend going here to all my friends and family!!!!

Joy Adams It is a very nice clean salon. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I always have my nails done by John. I’ve had my nails done for many years and have gone too many different salons and have had many different people at the variety of salons. I’ve gone to for the last two years. I have only gone to Nail Tec And I always have John do my nails.John Is a true professional, he is very knowledgeable about nails, their growth And their care. He works quickly and efficiently, and does a beautiful Nails. He gives you exactly what you ask for. I will only go to him because he does such a fantastic job on my nails. They always look so pretty when he’s done with them. He’s also one of the nicest guys, he takes great care of my nails , cuticles and hands. .

Susie Salins What a well run place with friendly faces and skilled technicians! I love Jenny, she is funny, artistic and always helps me choose the right color. Sue is a great manager and John is so helpful when Jenny is busy. I am always happy with the results.

Abbi Singer I’ve been going to LA Nails since I was like 12/13 years old. Even before then, all the nail techs did a fabulous job. Jason, the new manager, and my nail tech, Peter, were amazing!!! Jason made it a point to introduce himself to me and explain he’s the new manager and he was very attentive. He asked me a couple of times if I needed water, clarified which nail color I preferred for my dip, and even gave me a goody bag on my way out! Peter was fabulous with my nails. I got tips, almond shape, dip, and requested a nail design. They took the picture I was using as inspiration and my nails look identical to my the inspo photo. I’ve had experiences when going to salons where I get shot down pretty quickly on being able to do a design or not, or being charged an absurd amount. My manicure (tips set, almond shape, dip, and a design) was $80! My pedicure was $35. Again, I’ve been going here for quite some time, but if anyone ever has hesitations on coming back/coming here at all, please don’t. You’ll be very well taken care of!

Laura Ganvik ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Slayed I had the best experience at LA Nails today! Jason did my nails, and let me tell you—he absolutely slayed. He took his time to make sure every single detail was perfect. I brought an inspiration photo, and he created exactly what I wanted. I cant stop looking at them! If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about quality and customer satisfaction, LA Nails is it.

Nichol Moore I was in yesterday for a manicure, and Jason was amazing! Super attention to detail, very positive conversation and nail education along the way too! My nails look beautiful and he did pretty snowflake art too! Prices are fair and great customer service. I will definitely be back to see him in a few weeks!

Rachel Moody If youre looking for a new salon with some wonderfully talented people, come here as fast as you can! I cant say enough great things about this place. The vibe is gorgeous, the staff and team are so kind and thoughtful. You walk in and you feel like an old friend they are going to listen to and take are of. Such a great experience! Ask for Ally, she is fantastic and listens to you and transformed my hair!

Yasamin Mehrazar Ive had my hair colored by so many amazing stylists throughout the years. From CA to Illinois and even turkey and Haley is by far the best stylist Ive ever come across!! So talented when it comes to hair coloring. I specifically got a blonde balayage on the more natural side and it literally looks like its my natural hair color. 10/10 recommend this salon. Thank you Haley!

Cristina Garcia Told the older lady to make them squared. She made them round. Told her the paint was uneven. She applied 4 coats on one toe and 2 on the other. She ignored me and walked away. Told her daughter and she tried to tell me they were fine. She put a top coat only. Told her they needed to be cleaned from the top and brushed it off her shoulder. She grabbed my toes and told me nobody is going to be looking close up to my toes “like this.” “It’s going to be 15 dollars oaky.” Worse place is town. Won’t be back. They don’t listen to you at all. Should have listened to the reviews. They are empty for a reason.

Hannah Hlavacek I went in wanting layers/trim and I walked out with a hair cut I could have given myself. (Bobbie) also didn’t ask me any questions abt how I care and maintain my hair on a daily or what I do to it, not only that but since my hair is very long she used a round brush to dry it and pretty much yanked out most of my hair trying to unroll it, I’ve been to other places and they understand that w long wet hair you have to be gentle so you don’t rip it out. At one point I asked to brush my own hair bc I couldn’t stand seeing my hair being ripped out and the breakage that was happening. Not being mean at all but I definitely do think she needs to go back to school and take a couple classes to refresh her skills.

Laura Peterson Ive been here twice for hair cuts, both times were fantastic. My mom sees Jodi and goes for cut/color and recommended her. Very nice people, reasonable rates for a salon too! She even curled my hair for me so it has some shape to it! Next time I think Ill try highlights!

Lauren Klein The people working here are incredibly nice and super sweet. Offered me coffee and other types of drinks. Good conversation. However I went to go get a Gel manicure done Thursday (28th of December) and my nails are already chipping on Saturday the 30th of December. When I went in they didn’t have a lot of gel polish options and a lot of the polish they had were super old and expired that the polish was clumpy and thick. I imagine that is why my nails are Already chipping. I paid $65 dollars total for my nails to chip the 2nd day of them being done. Like I said super nice people but I won’t be coming back to get my nails done.

Amanda Olsen I specifically asked for and described a specific hair style I wanted and I did not get it. While the stylist was very kind and fun, she disregarded my request. Im not sure Ill go back. I went into great detail about how a different stylist removed the angle forward look on my previous haircut and how I was so upset about that, and then she proceeded to do the same thing.

Elsa Cherwak My daughter and I get pedicures together several times a year. We always get great service and they do a wonderful job. Always happy with the results!

Kristen M Just got no chip cat eye manicure. Get home and realize she forgot the top coat on my left hand, and there are fibers from my clothes stuck on the surface of the paint on my left hand. Well see when I go back tomorrow if they make it right and apply the top clear coat on the left hand. 1st photo is right hand with top coat 2nd and 3rd photo is left hand with no top clear coat UPDATE: I went back at 10 AM, the time that it stated online when they opened. No one was there, so I called their number. I asked when they were going to open, and the person stated 11 AM [a whole hour later than what they were supposed to be open]. I came back at 11 AM and they did fix the top coat and paint the nails with the clear coat on top. However, due to this experience and a previous less than desired experience at this location in the past, I will not be coming back.

Joanne McInerney I’ve been coming to see Kim for nearly 20 years now. I recently moved out of the area and went to a nail salon near my new home. I was very disappointed because I love French nails and the other salon didn’t know the correct way to do this. I get many compliments on my nails because of the professional and perfect job Kim does. I don’t mind the longer drive to come here. Her services and my beautiful finished nails are worth it!

The nicest nail lady i ever met. had the best prices i have ever seen in illinois!

Diane Lin Until I moved workplaces during the pandemic, I had my hair regularly colored, cut, and styled by both Val and Lee regularly for 5 years. They provide and use organic products with less toxicity. Believe me, you can feel the difference—hair feels so soft and doesn’t have chemical smell. It also looked beautiful and I always received compliments. They are skilled, talented, experienced, personable and it is a warm hair shop feel. I also enjoyed chatting about life, essential oils, and more with them. Their prices are reasonable and fair. I truly appreciate their work and time on my hair and their kind welcoming personalities during the time I was able to get my hair done by them!

This is exactly what I wanted and more!!!!!! She even styled my hair naturally at the end with the "rake and shake" method, I loved that I walked out of the salon feeling like a better version of me!

Deborah Curry Amazing experience from the moment you walk in the door! Christine is a pro at what she does! My hair was dead and dry from my lack of care through the winter. Christine worked with blending out my old color and trimming off the dead ends enough to still keep my length. She also gave me great advice on how to care for my hair going forward on how to correctly wash and what products would be more suitable. 100% recommend!

kinetic One of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. My hair was very long, to my waist. I asked for long layers and face framing pieces. I just wanted the dead ends off and wanted to keep length. She cut several inches off my hair and now it sits right below my shoulders. It’s a little bit longer in the back, but not by much. I truly regret going to her and I miss my long hair. I thought I specified I wanted to keep the length, but I guess she had something else in mind. Very disappointed.

Heather Grimmer I have been going to Chris for my hair for as long as I can remember and she is always amazing but she truly our did herself on my wedding day. She made me and all of my wedding party look absolutely stunning. Not only did she do one amazing style but when the August heat (and my insane sweating) got my hair messy she came to the rescue and on the fly with no supplies made my hair look stunning AGAIN for my reception. An incredible stylist and person!

Nichole Berczynski I usually go to 908 nails but they were unable to do a walk in today, angel nails fit me and and did a wonderful job! Loved how she didnt rush and was very detailed and kind! Will definitely be back.

Chosen One Title: Worst Nail Experience – Unprofessional and Aggressive! I had the absolute worst experience at Angel Nails. I originally went in on Tuesday for a full set, and the nail tech, KiRA, did a terrible job—my nails were uneven, lumpy, and poorly shaped. When I returned on Monday to have them fixed, instead of handling the situation professionally, she argued with me, aggressively yanked my fingers while redoing my nails, and made them look even worse than before. On top of that, her customer service was so bad that she even started arguing with the manager in front of me! I have never experienced anything like this before. The manager was aware of the situation, yet nothing was done to make it right. If you value professionalism and quality service, I highly recommend avoiding this place! Im requesting a full refund including the TIP. Please, thank you.

Sue Ellen Adamo The owner of Angel Nails salon was very welcoming and the woman who took care of my pedicure was wonderful❣️ She did a great and thorough job. I was very happy with entire process and even liked the stylish salon. Also very neat & clean; not tacky decor. Will return again.

Renee Konzelman The salon uses quality materials for their no chip as well as dip manicures. I have been coming for over 8 years and seen some of the technicians come and go, but there are many qualified technicians. Who do a nice job. I recommend Tina, Danny, Anne, Paul. It isn’t the fastest salon, but honestly, I wouldn’t go to any other place after knowing that my no chip lasts well over a month. There’s a nail salon on every corner, but this is the one I choose every time!

Rachel Kocurek I’ll start by saying that I’ve been here previously for one dip manicure and three pedicures and had a fantastic experience each time. I made an appointment and came in for a pedicure and dip manicure to prepare for my engagement photo shoot. The pedicure was fantastic, but unfortunately I had a less than stellar dip manicure. My cuticles were left untouched so on several nails it already looks like my nails have grown out. I took the attached photos after 3 days and several of my nails are already lifting around the edges. It’s now day 5 and I’m ready to take the dip off because half of my nails are lifting around the edges.

Olivia Dominguez i had a great experience at this nail salon! the staff was incredibly accommodating. when i wasn’t completely happy with my original set, they were more than willing to fix it without any hesitation. their customer service is top-notch, and everyone was so sweet and professional. the salon itself is very clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even better. i really appreciate their patience and attention to detail. highly recommend!!

Liza Rush This review is following my first visit to Amici. The first thing I noticed is that the staff is really nice and treated me like a friend. I had an appointment for a pedicure with Monika. This was a great manicure, Monika applied a good amount of pressure so as not to tickle me. She was so nice to talk to, again like an old friend. I asked if I could get a hair cut and these folks squeezed me in. I could see they were busy and expected to be told to come back. Nicky took over and gave me a great haircut. She listened to me and repeated back her understanding of my expectations. She delivered! Ill be going back to see these talented, friendly ladies. I highly recommend you check then out too

Delaney Billings Jessie is great! I came in just hoping to get a little red added to my hair because so many stylist had told me red was out of the question because of my level of brown: she DID IT! Dancer2023 I have been getting my hair cut at Studio 209 since I was in elementary school. Linda, the owner is always personable and always knows how to best style my hair. All of the stylists are kind and do a wonderful job. They are like a family and treat their customers like family. I would not want to go anywhere else.

Tori Solano Randy at 908 Nails is amazing! I got a full set of acrylic nails with a design, and he absolutely nailed it. The precision and creativity he puts into his work is next-level. He listened to exactly what I wanted and brought the design to life even better than I imagined. The salon is super clean and has a calm, welcoming vibe. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! Highly recommend Randy if you want gorgeous, professional nails!

Randy is always on time, and if he is running late, it is because a previous client was late. He works meticulously to catch up on lost time and provide excellent service--no matter what! You will be pleased with the end result, I promise you! Give 908 nails a try today!

Joanna Blazek I came here for an acrylic fill-in and while the service was definitely fast—probably the quickest I’ve ever had at around 25 minutes—that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The cleanliness of the space was very lacking. There was no towel or any kind of barrier where I placed my hands, just a dirty surface that clearly hadn’t been wiped down in a while. While I was getting my nails done, another customer was waiting for a pedicure. It seemed like the owner pressured my nail tech to finish quickly so she could move on to the next service. As a result, the rest of my appointment felt rushed and careless. After my nails dried, I noticed they were crooked and the polish was uneven. Instead of fixing anything, the owner quickly swiped some oil on my hands and told me to wash them—that was it. No hand massage, no lotion, nothing to finish off the service. Yes, it was about $15 cheaper than the salon I usually go to, but the lack of quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail just isn’t worth the savings. I won’t be returning.
