    1 /5 Tadria Taylor: I was very disappointed with how my nails looked to the point I politely asked her to take it off and left with bare acrylic nails. For the amount you’re charged you should never have a complaint. Theresa knows she rushed on my nails and if I didn’t speak up she would’ve allowed me to leave with my nails looking a mess.

They are messy, bumby, uneven and by Monday I had spots where the acrylic was lifting from my nail beds. I also have a couple nails where the acrylic isnt anywhere close to the edge of my nail and therefor there is a good bit of my nail showing. Went once years ago and loved my nails. Total disappointment this time.
    1 /5 Jessica Kraemer: Very disappointed. Not sure why I tried again here for a manicure, as I have never had a good experience before, but this will be my last time. I asked for a dip manicure. She did absolutely no nail prep before hurriedly slapping the dip on my nails. No moisturizing or cleaning up the nail after. She completely rushed through my nails, I was in and out in less than 30 mins. Would not recommend. I am currently headed somewhere else to have them redone.
    1 /5 Serenity Olaughlin: Gave me the cut on my finger with their nail file and had me wait roughly 30 minutes for a 2nd person to continue my service (I was a walk-in and someone came in with a reservation), but after a little filing and removing the excess acrylic from my skin once I got home, they look great!

    • Fantastic Nails - Decatur
    Sara Boedecker: Went in with my friends yesterday, we all got a full set with polish, and only one of us walked out liking our nails. They rushed, and were extremely rude to people coming in and out. The acrylic is lumpy, and my fingers were cut in three different places. Polish is bad, some parts are see through, and theres random glitter stuck in some parts. Awful.

    Sandra Davis: Went to Angel Nails for the first time. NEVER again. The polish isnt even, the fill doesnt even go to my cuticle, the design is far from what I wanted which was pretty simple. The nail itself is lumpy and jagged. Theres hair/bristles in my polish. We were limited on designs they would or could do. Just overall horrible experience and now have to go somewhere else today to have them fixed.

    Madison Krapf: I wanna start by saying I’m not upset with the salon, it’s a beautiful salon and the stylist was a great person. Where my bad review comes in at is that I came for a barber cut. I’ve never been to this salon and when I started talking about the cut I wanted the stylist stated I’m not very familiar with these cuts or the fade you’re talking about. Now I. Know I’m at a hair salon but I’m a masculine presenting women and I wasn’t very comfortable going to a barber shop in a new town with no real personal recommendations to go by. So I do understand this places specializes in feminine haircuts. What I was going for was a burst fade with almost a modern mullet. Very common modern haircut for men. Now I was coming from long hair undercut aka man bun. So I knew I wasn’t gonna get exactly what I wanted but atleast I wanted the start to the shape of the haircut. The fact in the beginning the stylist stated they weren’t familiar with I’m assuming modern fades, I wish she would’ve said she wasn’t comfortable because I’m not a very confrontational person I didn’t share with her my thoughts after the fact. But I do want to state to anyone man or women if your looking for a masculine haircut I wouldn’t go here. The fade isn’t done well at all, I definitely do not have a burst fade and infact no modern mullet either I knew I had to go short. But I wanted the shaping to start so I can start transitioning to that hairstyle. I infact got a very high fade with a textured fringe that isn’t even properly sectioned or atleast suitable to how my hair lays. The one side of my head is longer then the other making my hair very strangely lean to one side. I know there’s fault on my end for not speaking up and I don’t think at all the stylist is a bad stylist I just really wish this was shared with me that she or another didn’t feel comfortable with a haircut like this. I wouldn’t have settled. I wouldn’t have been mad. Photos for reference what I asked and I agreed it’d have to be shorter, and then photos of what I got. There was another masculine presenting female there that I also believe got a fade and was also very oddly sectioned with not a really smooth transition. Again this is a salon not a barber shop. Was my mistake there just please let your clients know if your not comfortable with something. Again this isn’t a bad review on the salon or the stylist, I most likely won’t be coming back but I will be sending my fiancé here lol
