Amy Marie Paul and his family are awesome, kind, and friendly. I would give this a 5 plus review, if I could! Also, Paul is a true artist, and Lexis nails are always so beautiful! She goes to Paul monthly, and its her treat to herself. Shes a lifer with Le Paul.

Alisa Grisham First time being there. I had made an appointment for a Manicure and a Pedicure because I really wanted to get my nails done before my sons wedding this weekend that is out of town. I had broken off three of my natural nails to the quick the day before the appointment. When starting my manicure I asked if they did Jel Nails and he said they did. I asked him if by any chance he would have time to do it and at first he said no, but he saw the shape my nails were in . He took the time which wasnt long and did a Beautiful job!! Very Happy Customre here! He saved my weekend!!

Candice Rice Ill never come back to this place, I just moved here. So I stopped by to get my eyebrows wax, I asked if she could make them a lil thinner. She told me no because she like them the way she did it an next time I come she will make them thin. Um negative that was your first and last time getting money from me. Im a paying customer an if I ask for them to b thinner you should have done it.. so I went home to correct my eyebrows that I paid to get wax. Sorry you guys wont b getting My money or time anymore...

Fonda Griswold I went for a full set last wk. 3 days afterwards 2 nails had polish come off and one mail the entire mail came off. Called to get them fixed. Was told I would have to pay to get it done???? Been wearing acrylics for over 20 years. Things happen sometimes. Not once have I had to pay to get nails fixed. She told me she would be charging me to polish 2 nails and put another one on. Nope if I have to pay for there issues doing nails right the first time. I will pay to get them done right this time! Bs they want money to fix what they didn’t do right

Erin Hoover This place is amazing! Always felt beautiful everytime I leave. Serria is really sweet and knowledgeable. I have a hearing loss and I was a bit nervous when I first came because I wasn’t sure if it would be awkward or not when I can’t hear, but Serria has been nothing but amazing. She is very patience and finds a way to communicate with me and it truly means a lot to me. This is the best salon I have ever been to hands down.

Sandra Davis Went to Angel Nails for the first time. NEVER again. The polish isnt even, the fill doesnt even go to my cuticle, the design is far from what I wanted which was pretty simple. The nail itself is lumpy and jagged. Theres hair/bristles in my polish. We were limited on designs they would or could do. Just overall horrible experience and now have to go somewhere else today to have them fixed.

Christa Logsdon The only shop I will go to for my nails. I have never had a problem making last minute appointments, or having nails fixed when I accidentally chip, or break one. Theyll even repair free of charge if its done within a reasonable amount of time. I definitely dont buy the reviews of them being blatantly rude, or racist. I have never witnessed that, and I am in there all the time. I HAVE, however, seen customers speak to THEM with rude attitude, and I find it uncalled for. The shop is very clean, and they have always done beautiful work on my nails. The color choices are large, & I love when they get new designs in. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. Dan & his wife are the absolute sweetest, & they work so hard to keep up when under pressure, because the staff is much smaller than it once was. But imo, thats not necessarily a bad thing, because I wasnt overly fond of one of the women who relocated. She had an iffy temperament, which may have been a culture thing, but Dan & his wife are a different story. They clearly are grateful for their loyal customers, and go above and beyond to try and please them. He does fantastic work. The pedicures are a treat for me, because theyre a bit pricey, but theyre so incredibly relaxing, and the scrubs they use smell heavenly.

Oneofhischosen 77 Becky did great! She did me and my daughter nails in a timely manner. I got a full set with ombré, gel polish, diamonds and gel glue design. My daughter got polished. My appointment was at 2:00 and she finished both of us in two hours. Good clean, welcoming atmosphere. Thanks Becky!

maria gonzalez This place is truly amazing!! Very clean and they run on time. From day one everyone was friendly and polite. I always meet Vy for acrylic painting. The first time, I showed her my inspiration and she slayed! Now I just need to choose my colors and tell her to do whatever she feels like for my design because I believe that whatever she is about to do will be amazing! Love the way they pamper my nails !!

Sara Boedecker Went in with my friends yesterday, we all got a full set with polish, and only one of us walked out liking our nails. They rushed, and were extremely rude to people coming in and out. The acrylic is lumpy, and my fingers were cut in three different places. Polish is bad, some parts are see through, and theres random glitter stuck in some parts. Awful.

Rose Pope My daughter and I went to get our nails done tonight. We will not be back. My nails (the french manicure) are ridiculously thick which is surprising because more than half of my fingers were cut during the filing process. So sore and raw I can’t remove these nails until my hands heal. My daughters nails (supposed to be gray coffin) are an absolute joke. They’re not even, the shape is horrific, polish all over the place. I truly wonder if the woman that did hers has ever done nails before. Wish I could give zero stars. Beyond disappointed!

Suzanne Missing gaps on my nail, not straight nails, different lengths on both hands, uneven thickness of the nail, missed parts of the clear nail polish, and uneven shape of the nails. They were the fastest walk in nail salon at the moment before Valentine’s Day. Clean environment and a good location to get drinks or other services around the nail salon. A lesson learned to try to get an appointment before holiday’s.

Never had bad nails done there! Small husband and wife business and you feel like family when you walk in the door! I love this shop and they are amazing people!! I had looked and looked at all the other nail salons in Decatur and this was the only one with consistently good reviews. I am glad I went. They did such a wonderful job on my nails. He even fixed what had been wrong from the other salon in Carbondale. I am going back to have a pedicure on Saturday. Great prices and great work. 10 out of 10.

Jasmine Carter Went to this nail shop lady at front desk has a bad attitude talk crazy to the employees then switch up she is something else also my feet were very crusty after my deluxe pedicure my nail polish chipped the next day (they were gel) and did not have a smooth coating NEVER EVER GOING BACK !!!!!!!!

Tadria Taylor I was very disappointed with how my nails looked to the point I politely asked her to take it off and left with bare acrylic nails. For the amount you’re charged you should never have a complaint. Theresa knows she rushed on my nails and if I didn’t speak up she would’ve allowed me to leave with my nails looking a mess.

BreeBree Dubs I got my nails done on a Saturday. Didnt thoroughly look at them till I got home. They are messy, bumby, uneven and by Monday I had spots where the acrylic was lifting from my nail beds. I also have a couple nails where the acrylic isnt anywhere close to the edge of my nail and therefor there is a good bit of my nail showing. Went once years ago and loved my nails. Total disappointment this time.

Jessica Kraemer Very disappointed. Not sure why I tried again here for a manicure, as I have never had a good experience before, but this will be my last time. I asked for a dip manicure. She did absolutely no nail prep before hurriedly slapping the dip on my nails. No moisturizing or cleaning up the nail after. She completely rushed through my nails, I was in and out in less than 30 mins. Would not recommend. I am currently headed somewhere else to have them redone.

Elsa Merida A friend treated me to a manicure, and I was very unhappy with the service. The man rushed through the application of the nails. He kept burning my cuticles and nail bed, when using the dremel filing tool. He again rushed through the painting of my nails, which left bubbles that then came open the next day and I was left with nails that had peeled polish. I only get my nails done once a year or so. I definitely will not be returning.

Corinne Lockhart Pannie did my nails, and she’s the sweetest! She did cut my cuticle while buffing, but she was very sweet about it, apologizing repeatedly afterwards! She’s very personable, and did an excellent job on my nails!! I’ll definitely be going back.

Raina Hutsler I came in 2 and a half weeks ago and my set was perfect I loved everything about it. I came in today, April 22, 2025, for a fill. I love the color but some of them are a little more bulky than I would have liked. Edit: GiGi had me come back in and fixed them for free. My nails look absolutely amazing now. Thank you guys so much my nails are perfect. I love this nail salon!

Selena Burns I go to Chloe and she is amazing takes her time, very careful, very creative also.I’ve been getting my nails done by her for almost 2 months. She has been able to do every designs I ask for and if I ask for freestyle she always comes up with the best designs for me!

Emma Deeds PLEASE READ: This salon does amazing work in terms to design but the nails don’t last nor stay on. Over all the nails were absolutely gorgeous and the designs were very well done. However the nails did not last at all. Both me and my best friend got nails done and the nails were lifting within a few days. I gave it a benefit of the doubt and came back on 10-04. Today is 10-07 and one of my nails is already off. Additionally almost all of them are lifting at the base. The nails did not last, and lifted very quickly. UPDATE: I clipped the nails off (the pumpkins) and part of the gel was uncurled and still soft.

Sydney White Lee does an amazing job! The receptionist is also sweet and greeting customers. The salon is always clean. Lee is my go to girl she does my shape and french tip exactly how I like it. I also get lemon scrub shellac pedicure and it’s so relaxing. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Rebecca Robinson Been here twice and both times have been excellent. I particularly enjoyed Emmy and her wonderful Christmas design for me and gentleness with my nails. Mine are really weak and tear easily, and both pedicurists did a wonderful job of being careful and gentle which is so hard to find. Cannot recommend coming here enough! Great massage chairs too!

Abigail Gentry I’ve gone here 3 times and everytime the quality switches up. The acrylic nails always do their job and look great from a good distance. Up close there’s usually quite a few mistakes. The first time I can hear it was kinda just janky overall and two of my cuticles bled. Second time there was nothing too special, just looked okay. Again, nothing crazy bad. This last time I got my first pedicure along with a full set and both were great. The girl who did my pedicure didn’t know a lick of English which is fine but when it came to picking my scents, she didn’t ask. Since I’ve never gotten a pedicure before, I don’t know how to do it or what to ask for. They were really kind but I was kinda just in the dark about a lot of things. The nails look great and they are the best ones I’ve gotten yet. I got hoco nails to match my dress, thats why they are a green lol.

Breanna Amaro Went in excited to get a relaxing pedicure & be pampered, but instead was in a lot of pain. The nail tech kept trying to pick and pull all the skin off around my nails. At one point I had to pull my foot away and say ow that hurts & she just kept trying to pull on it. She made 3 of my toes bleed & said she was sorry. I tried to let it go & convince myself that it wasn’t that bad, but when I got home and took a bath my toes were burning and I looked them over and felt pretty upset seeing the skin on the sides looking like that. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else & think they should be more careful & not try to pull skin off of peoples toes.

Trulie Smith I went in for an eyebrow wax and politely requested a different technician. That small request clearly upset the staff. After my service, one of the workers waited for me with her phone camera in my face—completely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, especially toward a paying customer. What she didn’t know was that I had my translator on and understood every rude, disrespectful thing being said. As I approached the counter to pay, she handed the phone to the man at the register, and they continued making inappropriate comments in their language—with the camera still pointed at me. Let me be clear: this is not how you treat customers. If your service is good, there’s no need for intimidation, gossip, or disrespect. I will not spend another dime in this shop and I’m filing a formal complaint with the BBB and any other platform available. If you’re looking for quality service and respect, take your business elsewhere—where your money is appreciated and your presence is respected. Oh, and by the way… the lady still can’t wax eyebrows. She might want to stick to doing feet—and maybe brush her breath before getting in someone else’s face.

Yoni Melanin Hey everyone, I hope this review finds you all in good spirits. About two weeks ago, I took my sisters to get pedicures. We chose Annies after hearing much about them years ago and to my surprise the service was few far and between. My pregnant sister received the worst service, and I was hoping to relax her a bit. The tech was clearly agitated and did not have a clue how to do chrome paint. My sisters toes were burning and when she would express that the tech just would not listen, making me have to speak on her behalf in order for her to spray the alcohol on her toes. I had a great tech named Kim. She was very good and patient. It was actually the best pedicure I had ever had, but when it came to pricing is when I felt scammed. I was charged $239 for three pedicures priced at $45 each. When asked why so much, they tried to explain but it still made no sense. I value integrity and when you show me that you lack integrity as a business I post a review and I take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, Annies will never receive my business again. There are other salons in this town and also other places that offer cheaper prices and a great customer experience Im sure. In Iowa I was offered refreshments at least. Many businesses nowadays expect you to patronize them as a default but you have to offer great service in order to receive my hard earned finances. Peace
