1 /5 Kimberly S: I walked in and there was a lack of acknowledgement by any staff member when I walked in the door, I started looking at products until I was finally acknowledged, not even a Hi, hello or welcome, Ill be with you in a momebt, just a stare the nail tech came up to me finally and asked me what I was looking for. I let her know I needed an appointment for cut and style she said she had Tuesday and Wednesday open and asked what would be best I let her know Wednesday would be better for me, she confirmed 12:30 was available, I agreed and immediately in front of her added it to my calendar and went on my way. I arrived for my appointment on Wednesday at 12:30 again sat down until someone acknowledged I was there again no welcome, hi just a stare until the other lady that has done my hair in the past asked what I was there for. She viewed the schedule. I was told I was scheduled for Tuesday, I had no proof on my end that this was not the case, however the nail tech who I spoke with to make the appointment did not even look at me. I think she was so busy when I walked in she was not paying attention and when making the appointment entered the wrong date. The hair dresser she set the appointment with said she is not usually in on Wednesdays, I never specified one person to cut my hair just the specific day. I have been going to Ashleys since they were in Belvidere and although this was my go to I have never encountered this lack of customer service when the owner frequented the salon, this from a customer stand point was unacceptable. No apologies no nothing no resolution they just went about their business it meant absolutely nothing to them.
