This last month I made the trip from North Carolina to Macomb IL and on my return trip I experienced some issues and needed a mechanic! It was the middle of a huge storm, very cold, very early in the morning, and I was traveling with my family including two small kids and a dog! Upon reaching out to Dave I was treated with such kindness and fairness! He not only fixed my truck in less than 2 hours, he charged an extremely fair price and let us all keep warm huddled up in the office! Long story short the simplicity and efficiency of our experience and the kindness made such an impact on a very stressful experience! Thank you all for your help getting us home! The truck is running great and I’m greatful for your help! So greatful!

The paint color matches perfectly even tho this particular paint is incredibly hard to replicate. My car was even washed and waxed before I received it back. Quality work like this is just hard to find anymore. 10/10 5 stars I don’t know how else to express my satisfaction. 100% would recommend.

Matthew Allen: What a great place for Havana. Bike broke down. Not sure what was wrong. Walked in and asked for a tool to use to pull the seat. Man I wished I had their names. Guy said hold on and brought out the battery tester. Checked off the starter said bad battery. Pulled the seat and exposed the battery. Tested it again on the battery. Still bad. And they had a battery for a 2017 Harley to replace it right there. Fair price and helped me pull the old one and put the new one in. Not an easy feat in the hot sun. Thank you so very much.

Tim D: Brad the owner is a great person. We were on a road trip and hit a deer about 7 miles north of his shop. He came and picked us up (not enough room in the tow truck for three of us). He took the car apart and showed us the damage and got it fixed and us back on the road within 3 hours of calling him. The price was great too. I can’t say enough of how awesome Brad’s Auto Works is. Teresa the receptionist was also very kind and helpful. The only bad thing is we don’t live close enough to have him as our mechanic. If you live close or find yourself in the situation we had call them.

Tony Morris: I took my wife’s 2014 Jeep up to them today at 10:30am. They squeezed me in to look at the issue. Determined her vehicle was leaking coolant from the seals of the radiator. We are leaving for vacation on Monday morning, they found me a new radiator, installed it in the time frame they said they could. Picked vehicle up at 3:30ish. No hidden charges, honest from the beginning until the end. And even, let me know of another issue, they quoted me the price to resolve that when I get back. You need high quality repair work done, fast and honest. This is definitely the place to go. Also, I was going to walk home and the owner had one of his employees take me home in his personal vehicle. Like I felt like a VIP today. Any further issues I have, A1 is the place for me!!

You could tell he genuinely cares about both his work and his customers. And the fact that he helped me out on a Sunday? That meant a lot. If youre looking to support a solid mom-and-pop business and need tire repair, I highly recommend giving Ralf a call. You won’t regret it.
